POWER SUPPLY
This calculator comes with a dual power source. The duration of Lithium
battery depends entirely on individual usage.
Electromagnetic interference or electrostatic discharge may cause the
display to malfunction or the contents of the memory to be lost or
altered. Should this occur, use the tip of a ball point pen
(or similar sharp object) to press the [RESET] button
on the back of the calculator. After resetting, be sure
to set the tax rate again.
AUTOMATIC POWER-OFF FUNCTION
When the power is turned "ON" and none of the keys are pressed for
more than 8 minutes, the calculator turns off automatically to save power.
Press key to re-start the calculator. "0" will appear in the display.
DECIMAL POINT SELECTOR SWITCH
: Used for designating the decimal point position
 (+ 4 3 2 1 0 F) for calculated results.
+ (Add-Mode) : Addition and subtraction functions are
performed with an automatic 2-digit decimal. It is convenient
for currency calculations.
F (Floating Decimal Point) : All effective numbers up to 12
digits are printed or display.
ROUNDING SWITCH
: Used for round-up [ ], round-off [5/4], or round-down [ ] to
the pre-selected decimal digits in the result.
COST-SELL-MARGIN CALCULATION
Set the switch to "BUSINESS" to perform cost, sell and profit
margin calculation.
– Used for calculating the cost, selling price and profit
margin amount. Enter the value of any 2 items to obtain the
balance value item. (e.g. enter the value of the cost and the selling
price to obtain the profit margin.)
TAX CALCULATION
Store the Tax Rate – Press and enter the tax rate
figure, then press to store.
Recall the Tax Rate – Press to recall the current tax
rate.
Add Tax Key – Used for adding the tax amount to the displayed
figure.
Deduct Tax Key – Used for deducting the tax amount from the
displayed figure.
OVERFLOW FUNCTION
In the following cases, when "E" is display, the keyboard is electronically
locked, and further operation is impossible. Press to clear the
overflow. The overflow function occurs when:
1) The result or the memory content exceeds 12 digits to the left of the
decimal point.
2) Dividing by "0".

ALIMENTATION
Cette calculatrice est dotée d’une double source d’alimentation. La durée
d’une pile au lithium dépend entièrement de l’utilisation individuelle.
Une interférence électromagnétique ou une décharge électrostatique
peuvent causer des erreurs d’affichage ainsi que la perte ou la modification
du contenu de la mémoire. Dans de telles circonstances, appuyer
sur le bouton [RESET] situé au dos de la calculatrice à l’aide
de la pointe d’un stylo à bille (ou autre objet pointu
semblable). S’assurer ensuite de régler de nouveau le
taux de taxe.
FONCTION MISE HORS TENSION AUTOMATIQUE
Lorsque la calculatrice est sous tension « ON », mais qu’aucune des touches
n’est enfoncée pendant plus de 8 minutes, la calculatrice s’éteint
automatiquement pour économiser l’énergie. Appuyer sur la touche pour
remettre la calculatrice en marche. « 0 » apparaîtra sur l’affichage.
SÉLECTEUR DE VIRGULE DÉCIMALE
: Sert à indiquer la position de la virgule décimale (+ 4 3 2 1 0 F)
dans le calcul des résultats.
+ (Mode addition) : Les fonctions addition et soustraction se font
avec une décimale automatique de deux chiffres. Également
pratique pour calculer les devises.
F (Virgule décimale ottante) : Tous les numéros comportant
jusqu’à 12 chiffres sont imprimés ou affichés.
COMMUTATEUR D’ARRONDI AU PLUS PRÈS
: Utilisé pour arrondir au chiffre supérieur [ ], arrondir [5/4], ou
arrondir au chiffre inférieur [ ], selon les décimales
présélectionnées pour les résultats.
CALCUL DES COÛTS-VENTES-MARGES
Mettre le bouton en position « BUSINESS » pour effectuer le
calcul des coûts, des ventes et des marges bénéficiaires.
–Utilisé pour le calcul des coûts, des prix de vente et
du ratio de marge bénéficiaire. Entrer la valeur de 2 éléments pour
obtenir la valeur moyenne (par ex. entrer la valeur du coût et le prix de
vente pour obtenir la marge bénéficiaire.)
CALCUL DE TAXE
Pour mémoriser un taux de taxe – Appuyer sur les touches et
entrer un taux de taxe. Puis appuyer sur la touche pour le
mémoriser.
Pour rappeler le taux de taxe – Appuyer sur les touches
pour rappeler le taux de taxe entré.
Touche d’addition de taxe – Sert à ajouter le montant de la taxe aux
chiffres affichés.
Touche de soustraction de taxe – Sert à déduire le montant de la taxe
des chiffres affichés.
FONCTION DÉPASSEMENT DE CAPACITÉ
Dans les situations suivantes, lorsque « E » s'affiche, le clavier est verrouillé
électroniquement et toute opération supplémentaire est impossible. Appuyez
sur la touche pour éliminer le dépassement de capacité. Les circonstances
suivantes provoquent le dépassement de capacité :
1) Le résultat ou le contenu de la mémoire dépasse 12 chiffres à gauche de la
virgule décimale.
2) La division par « 0 ».
