Usingbuttonsandjogdialonthevideodisplay,youcanadjustimagequalityandconguresettingsforinputsignals.In
addition,youcanassignfrequentlyusedfunctionstotheCH(Channel)andF(Function)buttons.
Basic operations to use the OSD menu
ThevideodisplaysettingsarechangedfromtheOSDmenu.
MENU button

• TheOSDmenuandsliderwilldisappearautomaticallyifnooperationisperformedforapproximately1minute.Thefunction
buttonguigewilldisappearautomaticallyifnooperationisperformedforapproximately10seconds.
• Thesettingsthatcannotbeset,aregrayedout.
• Thefollowingfunctionscanbereturnedtotheirfactorydefaultsettingsortheiranchorpoint( 7)bypressingtheRESETbutton,
afteradjustingtheimagequality.

Adjusting Image Quality While Viewing the Entire Image
YoucanadjusttheOSDmenutodisplayasaslideratthebottomofthescreen.Thisallowsfortheimagequalitytobe
adjustedwhilstitisdisplayedonthescreen.
1 Press the jog dial when the selection frame is on setting options.
•Asliderappearsatthebottomofthescreen.
2 Make adjustments using the jog dial with using the slider as
guide.
3 When adjustments are completed, press the jog dial.
•ThescreenreturnstotheoriginalOSDmenu.

Color temperature detailed settings (gain, bias)
YoucanadjustRGBallatonceorindividuallywhenthescreensforadjusting[Gain]or[Bias]aredisplayed.
1 Select [Adjustment] [Color Temperature].
•[GainR],[GainG],[GainB],[BiasR],[BiasG],and[BiasB]canbesetindividuallyusingthejogdial( ).
2 Select one.
•Thesettingscreenfor[Gain]or[Bias]willbedisplayed.
3 Switch the guide in the upper right area of the slider screen using the jog dial ( ).
•Theindicationchangesto[RGB],[R],[G],and[B].Selecting[RGB]willallowyoutoadjustRGBasawhole.
4 When adjustments are completed, press the jog dial.
•ThescreenreturnstotheoriginalOSDmenu.
Color temperature detailed settings (xy values)
1 Select [Adjustment] [Color Temperature].
2 Select [Custom (xy)].
•Youcanset[x]and[y]individuallyusingthejogdial( ).
3 Select either [x] or [y].

Temporarily Saving Parameters (Anchor Point Setting)
Youcantemporarilysaveparametersfor[Luminance],[Brightness],[Chroma],and[HDRRange].See 25forsetting
anchorpointsduringCDLadjustment.
1 Select [Adjustment] [Anchor Adjustment].
2 Press the jog dial, and when the confirmation screen appears, select [OK].
•Theparameterissavedandtheanchorpointisset.
3 Adjust the image quality again and press the RESET button on the video display.
•Returnsyoutotheanchorpointforeachfunction.

Changing the screen display area
When4096x2160videosignalisinput,theleftandrightsidesoftheimagewillbecroppedtodisplayanareaof
3840x2160.Thecroppedsidescanthenbefurtheradjustedontheleftandright.
1 Select [Display Settings] [Screen Scaling].
•Select[NativeInputResolution]or[200%].
2 Press the jog dial ( ) while the OSD menu is closed.
•Shiftstotheleftorright.

Export/Import
Youcanexport/importLUTandCDLparametersaswellasOSDmenusettings.
LUT Import ( 26)
1 Insert the USB memory stick containing the LUT file into the USB port of the video display.
2 Select [Adjustment] [Detail Settings] [LUT Import].
3 Select the LUT file to import.
•Inthe[Filename]eld,searchanddisplayalewithextension".clut"and".cube"intherootfolder.
4 Select the LUT type.
•Refertothe"ConceptDrawingofDisplayImageProcessingandLUT"( 10).
5 Select the LUT No. to save the LUT.
6 Select [Execute].
•Whentheconrmationscreenappears,select[OK].Importstarts.

• Importof[3D-LUT]canalsobesetfrom[Adjustment] [CDL/UserLUT] [3D-LUT] [LUTImport].
• TheLUTle(.clutformat)isproprietarytoCanonVideoDisplay.RefertotheCanonwebsitefortheleformatandhowtocreate

Checking Signal Information and Status of the Main Unit
Thevideodisplayisequippedwithabannerdisplayfunction.
1 Press the jog dial when the OSD menu is closed.
•Thechannelname,signalinformation,andstatusofthemainunitwillbedisplayedinthebanner.Itwill
automaticallydisappearafter6seconds.
Note
• Youcanselecthowthebannerisdisplayed([Banner] 62).

ThevideodisplaysupportsTelevisionSystemsLtd.’s“TSLUMDProtocolVer.5.0”.Youcanoperatethevideodisplay
usinganexternaldeviceconnectedtotheLANterminalanddisplaycharactersandtallylightsonthescreen.Thereare
twotallylights,ontheleftandright.Upto16characterscanbedisplayed.

5 Select [Position] [Top] or [Bottom].

This menu is used to adjust the image quality. The factory defaults differ according to the [Picture Mode] setting. ( 31)

[ITU-R BT.709], [ITU-R BT.2020], [Adobe RGB], [DCI-P3]: Mode set to the
brightness, color temperature, gamma/EOTF, and color gamut of the
three primary colors chromaticity points of each standard.
[User 1–9] (User 1 (2020 PQ), User 2 (2020 HLG), User 3 (DCI PQ),
User 4 (DCI PQ D65), User 5 ~ User 9): This mode allows you to set each
item in [Adjustment] individually. You can change the mode name
within 24 one-byte characters including alphabetical characters,
numbers, and symbols ( 28).
[CINEMA EOS SYSTEM]: Canon Log is the ideal mode for displaying
images captured with Cinema EOS cameras. Using Camera Link, you
can have the image quality setting change automatically ([Automatic
Adjustment (CINEMA EOS)] 52).
[ACESproxy (ver. 1.0.1)]: A mode to display ACESproxy videos in optimum
gamma/EOTF and color gamut.
• [ACESproxy (ver. 1.0.1)] cannot be set when [Channel Settings] [Picture Mode]
[Type] are [4K/2K] or [Automatic].
Luminance 0 to 1000.0 Adjusts the peak brightness (Increments of 0.1).
• The luminance values are just a guide and not guaranteed absolute values.
Brightness -500 to 500 (0) Adjusts the black level of the image. (Increments of 1)
Chroma 0 to 2000 (1000) Adjusts the color saturation of the image (color depth). (Increments of 1)
• [Chroma] is not settable in the following cases:
-When [CDL/User LUT] is set to other than [OFF]
-When [Color Gamut] is set to [Cinema Gamut to XXX] or [S-GamutXXX]
-When [Gamma/EOTF] is set to [Canon Log], [Canon Log 2] or [Canon Log 3]
-When [2020 Constant Luminance] is set to [Constant]
-When the [Format] signal method is set to ICtCp or XYZ
-When [Picture Function Settings] [Compare View] [Enable] is set to [On]
