soon as the computer is connected by the USB
cable to the scanner and turned on, the scanner
power is activated.
During software installation, it prompts to connect

defective

limited warranty shall only apply

conjunction with compatible computers, peripheral equipment
and
software.
Canon
USA
shall
have
no
responsibility for
such
items except for compatible
Canon
brand
peripheral equipment
covered

a separate warranty ("Separate Warranty").
Repairs
of
such
Canon
brand
peripheral equipment shall
be
governed
by
the terms ofthe Separate
Warranty.
Non-Canon
brand
equipment

software that

be
