BODUM AUSTRALIA WARRANTY
We are pleased to say that the return rate on BODUM® product is very low; however, should you
need to process a returned BODUM® product under warranty, please follow the simple procedure
below. We have tried to make it as simple as possible for both yourself and the end consumer.
BODUM AUSTRALIA WARRANTY PROCEDURE
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Consumers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for
any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Consumers are also entitled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount
to a major failure.
The beneits to BODUM® customers given by the warranty set out below are in addition to other
rights and remedies under a law in relation to the BODUM® product to which the warranty relates.
To process a faulty BODUM® product you will require a Return Authorisation (RA) number.
Returned items without a RA number are not able to be processed for credit or replacement.
Contact BODUM® on [phone] for a RA number.
Faulty product does not include items which have incurred wear and tear through general home
use, misuse or commercial use. Warranty does not include accidental glass breakages.
Warranty period:
e-Bodum®: 2 year replacement warranty from the date of purchase for electrical appliances
where a defect appears and BODUM® is notiied within 2 years from date of purchase.
Proof of purchase: any claim from the end consumer must be validated with a copy of proof of
purchase; without providing a proof of purchase BODUM® Australia will not be able to process
the claim. Proof of purchase includes original purchase receipt/docket or credit card statement
showing the purchase amount.
Replacement or credit: once claim is validated, if possible please replace the faulty item from
stock on hand. If a customer requires a replacement for an item which you don’t have on hand,
please have the item added to your next order.
Return or work order: to ensure that the return process is as easy as possible for both you and
the end consumer, we don’t do work orders or product repairs.
Once you have received a RA number and sighted the product please safely dispose of the faulty
item. We don’t require the faulty product to be sent back to us. However, if you come across an
unusual fault which you think we need to be aware of please send it back to BODUM® Australia
Head Oice.

should always be followed including the following:

Use the product only for its intended purpose. Use only with
recommended ccessories nd components supplied with the
product. Improper use or wrong opertion my led to hzrds.
Never leve the product unsupervised or unttended while it is
switched ON.
Do not plce hevy objects on top of the product.
WARNING! Do not immerse jug or the power base in water or
any other liquids. Never place the jug under running water to
clean. Do not place the product in the dishwasher.
If the supply cord is dmged, it must be replced by quliied
electricl person in order to void  hzrd or the product must
be disposed.

to kink or come in contct with shrp corners.
Keep this product including power cord nd plug wy from ll
het sources, i.e. ovens, hot pltes nd other het-producing
devices/objects.
Only unplug from the power socket do not pull on the cord.
Disconnect the product from mins power:
•when the product is not being used;
•in cse of mlfunctions;
•before ttching/detching ccessories;
•before clening nd storing the product.
Use the product only in dry loctions indoors, never use it outside.
Plce the product on  stble, level, nd slip resistnt surfce.
Protect the product from extreme het nd cold, direct sunlight
nd dust.
In order to reduce the risk of ire nd electric shock, do not
expose the product to ire (ireplce, grill, cndles, cigrettes etc.)
or wter (wter drops, wter splshes, vses, tubes, ponds, etc.).
CAUTION: Risk of burns! Avoid contct with hot surfces nd
escping stem.
Keep  suicient sfety clernce round the product. Hot milk
cn cuse severe sclding.
Do not move or trnsport the product during use or while there
is hot milk in the thermos cn. Sprying hot milk poses  risk of
burning.
Operte the product only when it is illed with milk.
Close the lid when frothing or heting.
The use of ccessories nd components not recommended by
the mnufcturer my result in injuries or dmges nd voids
the wrrnty.
This product is not suitble for commercil use. It is designed
for household use only.

Do not plce ny continer inside the milk frother – milk must
be removed from the pckging, continer, cn, etc. before
being put into the crfe.
Do not use the pplince to wrm milk for  bby.
WARNING! Never open the lid during the frothing or heting
process.
WARNING! Avoid liquid spillge on the electricl connectors.
WARNING! Hndle with cre. The heting element surfce is
subject to residue het fter use.

1. Remove the product nd ccessories
crefully from their originl pckging.
2. Check whether the contents of the
pckging re complete or dmged. If the
contents of the pcking re incomplete or
if dmge is detected, plese return the
product.
3.  Choking hzrd! Keep pckging
mterils out of rech of young children.
INTENDED USE: This product is suitble for
heting nd frothing milk only. Any other
use my result in dmge to product nd/or
injuries.
BEFORE THE
FIRST USE
1. Plce the power bse on  dry, even, stble
pd.
2. Unwind the power cord until it reches the
desired length.
3. Connect the mins plug to  suitble mins
power outlet socket.
4. Clen the product nd frothing ttchment
before using it for the irst time in order to
remove ny mnufcturing residue.
NOTE: Do not immerse the product in wter.
Ensure tht the connector on the bottom of
the product remins dry.
1. Fill the product with cold wter up to the
MAX level nd switch ON the product by
pressing the ON/OFF button, the button will
light up. The product will begin to het.

this process once more, mke sure to let the
product cool down ech time or it will fil to
function until it hs suiciently cooled down.
FROTHING
MILK
1. Connect the power cord plug to a suitable
power outlet.
2. Open the lid and attach the whisk onto the
rotating shaft.
3. Fill in cold milk. The milk level must be
between the mark “MAX ” and “MIN”.
4. Put the lid on irmly by pushing it down
slightly.
5. Place the milk frother on the power base.
6. Switch ON the product and the button will
light up. The product will begin frothing.
7. The temperature of milk will reach approx.
70°C around 1 minute and the product will
stop operating when ready. If the frothed
milk is not removed and the temperature of
the milk falls below 50°C, the milk frother will
start operating again automatically. You can
also press the ON/OFF button to turn OFF the
product.
8. Remove the milk frother from the power
base and open the lid.
9. Then pour the milk from the milk frother.
NOTE: If you want to prepare more milk
froth, let the milk frother cool down for a few
minutes before further use. As long as the milk
frother is hot, the thermostat prevents it from
being used. You can rinse the inside of the
milk frother with cold water to accelerate the
cooling process.

outlet.

BOIL-DRY
PROTECTION
1. If there isn’t suicient milk in the milk
frother, it will shut OFF automatically.
Nevertheless, always ensure that there is
enough milk in the product, as switching the
device OFF automatically can shorten its life
span.
2. Allow the product to cool down before
illing it again.
CLEANING
AND CARE
NOTE: To reduce build-up of milk residue,
always empty any residual milk and clean
immediately after frothing is completed.Never
leave liquid in the milk frother overnight.
1. Unplug the power base from the electrical
outlet and let the milk frother cool down
completely before cleaning.
2. Clean the inside of the jug with a damp &
