1. Remove all contents from packaging (FIG 1).
2- Fasten bottle jack to jack plate as shown (FIG 2). Use provided 5/16 bolts, lock washers, and nuts. The
release valve on the jack should point towards the caster mounts end of the frame.
3- Once the jack is fastened to frame,
install the pedal assembly onto the
jack, using the provided pins and
keeper clips. After pins are in place,
install spring onto rod first, then
extend to hole in jack plate. (FIG 3)
(NOTE: You may have to spread
open each end of the spring with a
needle nose pliers).
4- With the jack installed, raise the
"H" frames by hand. Being careful
not to pinch fingers, place a board
between the "H" frames to keep
them slightly propped up.
Using the two 3" bolts mount the
jack arm to the front "H" frame as
shown. The head of the bolts must
be towards the bottle jack. Install
the 3 nylon washers, followed by
the safety lock arms. Lastly the
1/2" nylock nut. (FIG 4) (NOTE: the
1/2" nut should be tightened but left
loose enough to allow the safety
arms to pivot freely).
5- Pump the bottle jack up a few inches, then
unscrew the head of the jack roughly 3/4".
By hand pull up the "H" frames and allow the
head of the jack to fit up into the jack keeper.
Jack can be adjusted side to side if it does
not fit properly into jack keeper. Next attach
the jack keeper clip, as shown. use the
provided 1/4" bolts to secure clip. (FIG 5)
22096 9/14
6- Set entire jack assembly onto blocks to install the fixed wheel with the provided 3/8 bolt, washer, and nuts.
Followed by the swivel caster and the provided 1/2" flanged nut. See figure x. (FIG 6)
Operating Instructions:
1. With the jack in the lowered position slide it under the motor cycle, on the opposite side of the bike from
the kick stand. NOTE: Be sure to check under your bike for obstructions that won’t allow your bike to set level
on the jack. If the bike is too low roll back wheel of bike onto a block of wood, or use a block under kickstand
to hold bike more upright as you slide jack underneath.
2. With jack positioned, make sure relief screw on jack is tight by turning it clockwise. Pump jack up by using
your hand on the pedal just to make sure jack stays in position until you feel the jack taking the weight of the
motorcycle. Then you can pump jack with your foot. NOTE: Maximum load is 1500 lbs.
3. Once bike tires leave the ground, stop to make sure bike is stable on the jack. If it feels stable proceed with
raising the jack to the desired height. If it doesn’t feel stable lower bike back to the ground and reposition the
jack.
4. Once you reach desired height with jack, MAKE SURE SAFETY LOCKS ARE DOWN. Use release handle
and SLOWLY turn relief screw on jack counter clockwise. Jack will come to rest on the safety lock bars.
5. To lower jack, make sure jack relief screw is tight, and pump jack up to take weight off the safety lock bars.
6. Flip safety lock bars up, and SLOWLY turn jack relief screw counterclockwise to lower motorcycle back to
the ground. ALWAYS make sure the kickstand is down before lowering bike back to the ground.
