Know Your Straightener
Instructions for Use
1. After washing your hair, towel dry.
2. The straightener has been designed to work with dry hair.
3. Comb your hair using a wide toothed comb to ensure that your hair is
completely tangle free before styling.
4. Divide your hair into styling sections, not more than 5 to 7 centimetres
wide and 1 to 1½ centimetres thick, brushing each section thoroughly.
5. Place the straightener as near to your scalp as possible. Beware of
burning yourself!
6. Clamp your hair between the 2 styling plates.
7. Hold the straightener closed tight for 5 to 10 seconds. The texture of
your hair will determine how long to keep the hair clamped.
8. Gently slide the straightener slowly towards the hair ends. The
anodised straightening plates avoid the hair from sticking to the plates.
9. Repeat the above process on all sections of hair until completely
finished.
10.Slide the settings switch to the OFF position. Always unplug the
appliance immediately after use.
N.B.: The areas above and below the plates may become very hot
during use. To avoid burning yourself hold the appliance further
back (grip area as noted in the picture above).
Care and Maintenance
1. Switch the straightening iron off, unplug it and let it cool down.
2. Wipe the body of the straightening iron off with a soft damp cloth. If
necessary use a little washing-up liquid.
3. Remove deposits from plates by brushing with a soft cloth.
4. Do not immerse the straightening iron in water or any other liquid.
5. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
