Remote controller description
1ON/OFF BUTTON
If you press this button, the unit starts operation and press
again, stops operation. (You can hear receiving beep.) If
you press this button immediately after turning off the unit,
the compressor will not operate for 3 minutes to keep itself
from overloading.
2TEMPERATURE SETTING BUTTONS
Ifyousetthedesired room temperature, thentheunitwillkeep
the room temperature to the set temperature. In COOL mode,
when the room temperature is higher than the setting, the
compressorisautomatically turnedontoprovide coolingeffect.
When the room temperature is lower than the setting, the
compressor is automatically tumed off to stop cooling
operation. Units with HEAT pump: In HEAT mode, when the
room temperature is lower than the setting, the compressor is
automatically turned on to provide heating effect. When the
room temperature is higher than the setting, the compressor
is automatically turned off to stop heating operation. However
the indoor fan will run to circulate the indoor air even during
the compressor is turned off.
3SLEEP TIMER BUTTON
Press this button to set the sleep timer. (Refer to P. 11)
4OPERATION MODE SELECTING BUTTON
Press this button to select the desired mode. In DRY mode,
the microcomputer of the unit controls the indoor fan motor
and makes the outdoor unit automatically turn on and off
according to the room temperature, and the moisture will be
removed more effectively. InCOOL mode, the unit will run the
normal cooling mode. In FAN mode, only the indoor fan will
operateattheselectedspeedand circulate the roomair.Units
Names and Functions of the Buttons
with heat pump: In HEAT mode, the unit will run the normal
heating mode.
5FAN SPEED SELECTING BUTTON
Press the button to select the desired fan speed out ofAUTO,
LOW, MED, HIGH, and the indoor fan will operate at the
selected fan speed. If you select “AUTO”, the fan speed is
controlled by microcomputer of the unit.
6FLAP CONTROL BUTTON
Controls the discharge air flow direction up and down. (Refer
to p. 12) At the beginning, the flaps open properly according
to operating mode. If you press this button, the flap will move
stepwise and the position will be displayed. If you press this
button again, the flap will swing up and down continuously.
7ON/OFF TIMER AND CURRENT TIME BUTTONS
If you set ON and OFF time, the unit will be automatically
turned on and off at set time. (Refer to p. 10) If you press the
CLOCKbuttonduringTimeroperation,you can seethecurrent
time for 5 seconds.
8HOUR/MINUTE SETTING BUTTONS
Adjust current time and on/off time with these buttons.
9RESERVATION AND CANCEL BUTTONS
Press RESERV, button to reserve ON/OFF Timer and press
CANCEL button to cancel the reserved ON/OFFtime. (Refer
to p. 10-11.).
10 CURRENT TIME ADJUSTING BUTTON
Press this button when you adjust current time. (Refer to p.
8.)
11 RESET BUTTON
Press this button when the remote controller is not operated
properly or after replacing batteries (Refer to p. 8.)
