Before You Begin
Make sure your Mobile Charger is fully charged before the first use. Connect the included micro
USB charging cable to the charging port on the bottom of your Mobile Charger, then connect the
USB side of the cable to an available USB port on your computer or USB wall adapter.

How to Recharge the Mobile Charger
Connect the included micro USB cable via the micro USB port on the bottom of the Mobile
Charger. You can recharge the Mobile Charger using a computer USB port or by using your
Apple or third-party USB wall adapter. You can also recharge your Mobile Charger while it
is connected to your device. The Mobile Charger features built-in pass-through technology
and will always charge the device to full capacity before recharging itself.
How to Charge Your Device
Power on the Mobile Charger by sliding up the large on/o switch on the side. The LEDs
on the bottom will turn on to indicate that the Mobile Charger has been powered on.
Plug the Lightning connector into your device to begin charging. Once you are finished
charging your device, simply disconnect the Lightning connector and slide down the on/
o switch to power it o.

Checking the Battery Level
You can check the battery level of the Mobile Charger by powering it on and checking the
status of the LEDs on the bottom:

LED 1 Illuminated: 10 - 25%
LED 2 Illuminated: 25 - 50%
LED 3 Illuminated: 50 - 75%

CARING FOR YOUR MOBILE CHARGER
• Keep your Mobile Charger dry and away from moisture and liquids.
• To clean the Mobile Charger, simply wipe it with a soft, water-dampened cloth. Wipe the
pins on the Lightning connector gently with a soft, dry cloth.
• Recharge the Mobile Charger once every three months when not in use, and remember to
charge it for one hour before the first use.

Important Safety Instructions
• The Mobile Charger should be operated only in open-air conditions. It should not be operated in an enclosed,
unventilated place such as a carrying bag, pocket, or purse. Failure to follow these instructions may cause
damage to the Mobile Charger by overheating.
• Do not store the Mobile Charger in high temperature environments, such as intense sunlight. Do not place the
Mobile Charger in fire or other excessively hot environments.
• Do not expose the Mobile Charger to moisture or submerge it in liquid. Keep it dry at all times.
• Do not strike the Mobile Charger with any blunt or sharp objects.
• Be cautious of excessive drops, bumps, abrasions or other impacts to the Mobile Charger. If there is any damage
to the battery such as dents, punctures, tears, deformities or corrosion due to any cause, discontinue use and
contact the manufacturer or dispose of it in an appropriate manner at your local battery recycling center.
• Do not disassemble the Mobile Charger or attempt to repair or modify it in any manner.
• Do not attempt to charge the Mobile Charger using any method, apparatus or connection other than the device’s
USB connector.
• Do not attempt to replace any part of the Mobile Charger.
• Do not slide or push on the power button with excessive force to avoid damaging the switch.
• It is normal to for the product to become warm during use.
• If the Mobile Charger is intended by Purchaser to be used by a minor, purchasing adult agrees to provide detailed
instructions and warnings to any minor prior to use. Failure to do so is the sole responsibility of the purchaser,
who agrees to indemnify the Manufacturer for any unintended use/misuse by a minor
• All Case-Mate Mobile Charger products have gone through a thorough quality assurance inspection. If you
find that the Mobile Charger is excessively hot, is emitting an abnormal smell, is deformed, abrased, cut or is
experiencing or demonstrating an abnormal phenomenon, immediately stop usage and contact the Manufacturer.
• For extended charge storage, charge the Mobile Charger for one hour before first use.
• Never dispose of the Mobile Charger in the garbage. Disposal of batteries in the garbage is unlawful under state
and federal environment laws and regulations. Always take used batteries to your local battery-recycling center.
