Before you start
01 To install batteries
1. This instrument requires 1 x 1.5V AAA/LR03 battery (not included).
2. Remove the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the batteries paying attention to the polarity (+/-) marked on the compartment and batteries.
4. Close the battery compartment cover.
CAUTION!
• ALWAYS turn off the instrument before replacing the batteries.
• ALWAYS remove the batteries if the instrument is not to be used for
extended periods.
• ALWAYS use high quality batteries of the same brand, type and age.
• If the instrument does not work properly, or the low battery icon is displayed,
replace the batteries immediately.
• DO NOT expose the batteries or instrument to extreme temperatures or direct
heat source, as this can cause the batteries to leak.
• If the batteries should leak, remove them using a cloth and dispose of them
according to local regulations. Clean any leaked battery acid avoiding any contact
with skin, eyes & mouth.
• If any contact does occur, rinse affected areas immediately with fresh water and
seek medical advice.
Functions and settings
01 Operation instructions
• Press the MODE button to switch between CLOCK and ALARM.
• The display will return to CLOCK after one minute if no buttons are pressed.
• Press the ADJ button to display the DATE.
• The display will return to CLOCK after 3 seconds if no buttons are pressed.
• Press the MEMORY button to switch between Current, Maximum, & Minimum, Temperature and Humidity readings.
• The display will return to the Current readings after 5 seconds if no buttons are pressed.
• The MAX/MIN readings can be reset by pressing and holding the MEMORY button for 2 seconds, whilst either the MAX or MIN
readings are displayed.
• Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit by pressing the °C/°F button on the back.

Avant de commencer
01 Pour installer les piles
1. Cet instrument nécessite 1 piles 1,5 V AAA/LR03 (non fournies).
2. Retirer le couvercle du compartiment des piles.
3. Insérer les piles en prêtant attention à la polarité (+/-) indiquée sur le compartiment et les piles.
4. Fermer le couvercle du compartiment des piles.
ATTENTION :
• TOUJOURS éteindre l’instrument avant de remplacer les piles.
• TOUJOURS retirer les piles si l’instrument ne sera pas utilisé pendant de
longues périodes.
• TOUJOURS utiliser des piles haute qualité des mêmes marque, type et âge.
• Si l’instrument ne fonctionne pas correctement, ou si l’icône de batterie faible
• NE PAS exposer les piles ou l’instrument à des températures extrêmes ou à une
source de chaleur directe, cela peut provoquer une fuite au niveau des piles.
• Si les piles fuient, les retirer à l’aide d’un chiffon et les mettre au rebut
conformément à la réglementation locale. Nettoyer les fuites d’acide de batterie
en évitant tout contact avec la peau, les yeux et la bouche.
• Si un contact se produit, rincer immédiatement les zones touchées avec de l’eau
douce et consulter un spécialiste.

Bevor Sie beginnen
01 Einlegen der Batterien
1. Dieses Instrument benötigt 1 x 1,5-V-AAA/LR03-Batterien (nicht beiliegend).
2. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs.
3. Legen Sie die Batterien ein und beachten Sie die Polaritätsmarkierungen (+/-) auf dem Fach und den Batterien.
4. Schließen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs.
ACHTUNG:
• Schalten Sie das Instrument vor dem Wechseln der Batterien IMMER aus.
• Nehmen Sie die Batterien IMMER heraus, wenn das Instrument über längere
Zeiträume nicht verwendet wird.
• Verwenden Sie IMMER hochwertige Batterien der gleichen Marke, des gleichen
Typs und Alters.
• Wechseln Sie die Batterien unverzüglich, wenn das Instrument nicht
ordnungsgemäß funktioniert oder das Symbol für eine schwache Batterie
angezeigt wird.
• Setzen Sie die Batterien oder das Instrument NIEMALS extremen Temperaturen
oder direkten Wärmequellen aus, weil die Batterien ggf. auslaufen können.
• Nehmen Sie undichte Batterien mithilfe eines Tuchs heraus und entsorgen
Sie sie gemäß den lokal geltenden Vorschriften. Entfernen Sie ausgelaufene
Batteriesäure und vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und Mund.
• Spülen Sie bei Kontakt die betroffenen Stellen sofort mit klarem Wasser ab und
konsultieren Sie einen Arzt.
