INTRODUCTION TO THE CUSTOMER
The CBD Power Product you have received has been designed and manufactured with great
care from first-class materials. We are confident that it will perform safely and satisfactorily over
a long period, providing that the instructions and maintenance detailed in this booklet are
followed.
Please read the following paragraphs carefully and give the required time and attention to
essential maintenance, cleaning and inspection.
A 6.0 hp petrol driven engine power your pump to produce a maximum pressure of 2000 PSI
@ 11 & 13 according to pump model. Triplex pump models can produce 10LPM @ 2680PSI
When manoeuvring the Power Product from one position to another, always do so using an
appropriate pallet truck or forklift truck by competent personnel. Alternatively, if it has to be
moved manually, please do so using the appropriate lifting techniques.
Always check before operating that the fuel tank has
the appropriate amount of fuel. The fuel tank has a
maximum capacity of 3.1 litres. Make sure that the
cooling air intake and discharge openings are free
and unblocked.

OPERATING THE WASHER
Position the washer at a convenient place within your work area, ideally in an airy room or
outside where you can easily start the machine and connect hoses etc. If there is not enough
air, a malfunction or an overheating may occur.
Now you can follow these simple step-by-step instructions:
1. Check fuel tank level and top up as necessary. Ensure that the cap is fully and tightly
on. Lower suction hose into water tank
2. Make sure the throttle is fully open
3. Pull the pull cord to start the engine
4. When the engine is running you can hold handgun in open position to begin sucking
water into pump
5. Do not point water jet at or near humans/animals, injury may occur
6. When finished the job turn the key to the off position and release pressure in hose by
pulling trigger
TROUBLESHOOTING F, A, Q,
If for some reason, you discover that the machine is not working, follow these hints before
requesting the help of a qualified engineer.
•Check that the fuel tank has the appropriate amount of fuel in it.
•Check the air box is not being restricted in anyway.
•Check y-strainer and suction filter are not blocked.
•Ensure the suction hose is fully submerged in water and has ample supply
•Leave for 30 minutes as the temperature safety switch may have triggered and it will
need time to cool down. Move to cooler location to get more ventilation.
If after the procedures have been carried out and the machine still does not function, please
contact our service department.

It is suggested that you have your machine routinely
maintained and serviced by a fully trained CBD
power agent or engineer on a yearly basis.
SPARE PARTS ORDERING PROCEDURE
When ordering spare parts for your Honda washer, the following procedure must be observed:
•State machine model and serial number.
•State Item No. and Fig. No. of part from illustrated parts listing.
•State the quantity of each part required.
•State name and full address and arranged method of delivery/collection of spares.
It is the interest of the customer to use spares manufactured and supplied by CBD Power. CBD
Power cannot therefore be responsible for consequential damage arising from use of such
unapproved spares, and the Guarantee will be invalid.
THE CBD PRODUCTS GUARANTEE
Subject to hereunder provided, the Sellers undertake to correct either by repair, or at their
election, by replacement, any defect of material or workmanship which in any of its goods
within twelve months after delivery of such goods to a first user, with the exception of
contractors or commercial users when warranty period is six months.
The term ‘goods’ when used in this document means the article or articles described in invoice
as sold by the Sellers but does not include equipment or propriety parts or accessories not
manufactured by the Sellers. The Sellers, however, undertake to pass on so far as they legally
can, to the first user the benefit of any warranty given to the Sellers by the suppliers of such
equipment, parts or accessories.
The understanding shall not apply to:
•Any goods, which have not been sold by the first user.
•Any goods, which have not been injured by unfair wear and tear, neglect and
improper use.
•Any goods the identification marks of which have been altered or removed.
•Any goods, which have not received the basic normal maintenance such as
tightening of bolts, nuts, fittings and normal lubrication.
•Any goods, which have been altered or repaired other than on instruction or with
having written approval by the Sellers has been fixed.
•Any second-hand goods or part thereof.
Any allegedly defective part or parts returned to the Sellers must be sent carriage paid. No
claim for repair or replacement will b e entertained unless upon discovery of the alleged defect
written notification is sent to the Sellers giving, at the same time, the name of the Buyer from

whom the goods were purchased and the date of purchase together with full details of the
alleged defect and the circumstances involved, also the serial number of the machine etc.
The Sellers shall be under no liability to their Buyers and first and subsequent users of their
goods or to any other persons for loss or damages howsoever arising in respect of either
personal injuries or for special or consequential damage of any kind or from any cause
whatsoever arising out of, or in any way connected with or arising from the manufacture, sale,
handling, repair, replacement or use of its goods or the failure of malfunction of any of its
goods. Representation and/or warranties made by any person (including Buyers and
employees and other representatives of the Sellers), which are inconsistent or conflicting with
these conditions, are not binding upon the Sellers unless given in writing and signed by a
Director of the Sellers.
CLAIMS PROCEDURE
If you wish to make a claim under guarantee:
•Immediately, stop using the machine.
•List the details of the machine and damaged item (as shown inside this booklet)
•Consult with your supplier and have them forward your claim and the damaged
item to CBD.

This washer complies with the EEC directives given above and those by its
component manufacturers. Therefore, it poses no danger to the operator if
they are if they are installed, used and maintained according to the
instructions given by CBD Powerwashers and provided the safety devices are
kept in perfect working conditions. Therefore, a strict observation of these
instructions is required.
Please look out for the symbols on the machine, which have specific meaning
and are described in more detail within this booklet.

warns the personnel concerned that the described
operation may cause serious injuries or death to the
personnel if it is not carried out according to the safety
standards.
DANGER This symbol ‘of a triangle with a lighting strike inside’
warns the personnel concerned that the described
operation may immediately cause serious injuries or
death to the personnel if it is not carried out according to
the safety standards.
Before any cleaning, lubrication or maintenance operation, ensure that the
washer is stationary and disconnected from any hoses etc.
Short circuits may occur if liquids are
spilt onto areas containing electrical parts. Do not clean the inside electric
components with compressed air, because this may cause short circuits or
other abnormalities. Do not lean or sit on the washer at any time.
