differentcodes(composedby4numberseachcode)whichwillbestoredinmemoryevenifyoustoptosupplythe
module.Itallowstoauthorizeanddenycodesandoffersarelayoutput.Theoutputcouldbeflip-floportimedtypes
withtimesadjustablebetween1and60sec.Or1and60minutes.

Ifyoudonotrespectthispoint,themodulecouldbedamagedandthewarrantycancelled.
-Installthemoduleonanenclosurecorrectlyventilated.Ifyouhavetoinstallthemoduleoutside,useawatertight
enclosurewithaminimuminteriorspacetoallowstothemoduletodissipateheatwithoutanyproblemduringits
operating.
-Then,youhavetoprotecttheDA-03moduleagainstbadweather,excessivehumidityaswellasagainstdevicesor
apparatusgeneratingindustrialparasitesascoils,motors,neons,etc..
DA-03circuithadtobesuppliedbya12VDCpowersupplycorrectlyfiltered.Werecommendedyouthe
FE-2powersupplywhichhasbeendevelopedtoperfectlyanswertothecircuitneeds.Installafuseandaswitchhasiti
sindicatedontheschedule.Botharenecessaryforthemodule’sprotectionaswellasforyourownsafety,asitisrequiredbyteh
“CE”regulations.Connectthepositiveofthepowersupplytothepositiveterminalindicatedinthewiringmap,then connect
thenegativeofthepowersupplytothenegativeterminalindicatedinthecircuit..

Beforetoexplaintheoperationscontroloritsuseinstandardway,INFORMATIONABOUTTHEDA-03.
OPERATIONSCONTROL. Thankstotheoperationscontrolyoucouldauthorizeanddenyaccesscodeaswellasprogram
relaytiming.Toactivatetheopetaionscontrolmode,youhavetoconnect,closeorshort-circuitbothterminalsoftheJP1
jumperusingtheJPpiecesuppliedwiththemodule.Seethecorrespondingschedule.
WhentheDA-03isonthismode,themodulecouldnotbeusedasaccesscontrol,andonlyacceptoperationscontrol
management.

AssoonastheJP1Jumperisclosed,bothLedsONandOFFwillintermittentlylighttoindicatethattheOperations
Controlmodeisactivated.
Accesscodesarecomposedby4numbers(from0upto9)and
youcouldstoreinmemoryamaximumof10differentcodes.Thetenmemoriesallowingtostorecodesarethetendigits
OPERATIONSCONTROL.Toauthorizeaccesscodes.
Adigitcouldnotstoretwodifferentaccesscode;youhavetopreviouslydenytheanteriorcode.Ifyoudonotdenythe
anteriorcode,theOFFledwilllightandanacousticsignalwillbeemitedtoindicatethemistake.
Whenyouareintothememoryoftheselecteddigit(Chargeledlighting),youhavetointroducethecodecomposedby4
digitusingthekeyboardandpressingthedigit“”.Ifyouhavecorrectlydonetheoperation,themodulewillrequireyouto
confirmthecodetodefinitivelystoreit,maintainingthe“charge”ledlightingandONledintermittent.Thenintroduce
againthecodeandpressthedigit“”.Finally,andifyouhavecorrectlyproceed,anacousticsignalwillbeemitedand
Charge&ONLedswilllight.Afterashorttime,themodulewillbebackattheOperationscontrolmode(ON&OFFled
alternativelyintermittent)andthecodehasbeencorrectlystored.Youhavetodothisoperationforeachaccesscodethat
youneedtillamaximumof10codes.
Ifyouwronglyproceedtoauthorizeacode,astowaitmoretimethanauthorisedforthecodeconfirmation,orto
introducemoreorlessthan4digit,thecircuitwillemitanacousticsignalandtheOFFLedwillmomentarilylighttoindicate
theerror.
Eachtimeyoufinishacontroloperationastoauthorizeanaccesscode,youhavetowaitthatthecircuitindicatesyou (ON
&OFFLedshavetoalternativelylight)thepossibilitytoinsertanewcode.

Donotforgetthatcodesareindividuallystoredondigitsofthekeyboard,forthisreason,youhavetorememberthedigit
associatedtothecodethatyouwishtodenyorerase.
Todenyacode,firstlyyouhavetoverifythatthemoduleisonoperationscontrolmode(JP1closed),thenyouhaveto
selectwhichdigitwillstorethecode,maintainingpressedthedigit“#”youhavetopressthedigit(from0upto9)in
whichyouwishtoerasethecode.Then,the“Discharge”Ledwilllightandanacousticsignalwillbeemitedtoindicate
thatthecodehasbeenerasedandthatyoucouldtoreleasebothdigits.
Whenyouareintothememoryoftheselecteddigitthemodulewillwaitfortheeraseconfirmation.Todothatyouhave
torepeatthepreviousoperationpressing“#”andmemorydigitatthesametime.Ifyouhavecorrectlyproceed,an
acousticsignalwillbeemitedandDisharge&ONLedswilllight.Afterashorttime,themodulewillbebackatthe
Operationscontrolmode(ON&OFFledalternativelyintermittent)andthecodehasbeenerasedandthisdigitwillbe
availabletostorenewaccesscodes.
You coulddothisoperationastimeasyouwishifyouwaitthatthecircuitindicatesitsavailability(ON&OFFLedshave
toalternativelylight).
Ifyouwronglyproceedtodenyorerasecode,astowaitmoretimethanauthorisedfortheeraseconfirmationthecircuit
willemitanacousticsignalandtheOFFLedwillmomentarilylighttoindicatetheerror.

OPERATIONSCONTROL.RelayTiming. Therelayconnectioncouldbeadjustedaccordingtoaflip-floportimedmode
(formoreinformation,seetheOutputConnection-Loadparagraph).Ifyouselectthetimedmode,youhavetoprogram
themoduletoadjusttherelayconnectiontime,afteracorrectaccess.Youcouldprogramthetimebetween1and60,
selectingafterandthankstothecorrespondingswitchthetimingscale:SecondsorMinutes.Fromthefactory,the
moduleissuppliedwithatimingof5sec.
Toprogramtherelaytiming,astoauthorizeordenycodes,firstlyyouhavetoplacetheDA-03moduleonOperations
Controlmode(JP1closed).Then,youhavetopress“*”and“#”digitsatthesametime,DischargeandChargeledswill
lighttoindicatethatyouareintothememoryoftherelayandthatyoucouldrelasebothdigits.
Onceintherelaymemory,themodulewillwaitfortheintroductionofthewishedtiming.Pressdigitscorrespondingto
thewishedtiming(Presspreviouslythedigit“0”ifthewishedtimingisnferiorthan10)andthedigit“*”toconfirm.
Iftheoperationiscorrectlydone,anacousticsignalwillbeemitedandtheONLedwilllight.Afterashorttime,the
modulecomebacktotheinitialstateofOperationscontrol(ON&OFFLedsalternativelyintermittent).

Tochangeagaintherelaytiming,repeatthisprocess,awaitingthatthemoduleindicatesitsavailability(ON&OFFLeds
alternativelyintermittent).
Ifyouwronglyproceed,astowaitmoretimethanauthorisedforthedatainsertion,ortopresswrongdigits,ortodigita
numbersuperiorthan60,thecircuitwillemitanacousticsignalandtheOFFLedwillmomentarilylighttoindicatethe
error.
HOWTOADJUSTARELAYTIMING:9sec./min.
COMMONOPERATINGMODE. Thankstothecommonoperatingmode,theDA-03modulewillexclusivelyoperateas
astandardaccesscontrol.Itwillcomparetheinsertedcodewiththestoredcodesandauthorizeordenyaccordingtothe
situation.Onthismode,youcouldnotdoneauthorization,denyorrelaytimingoperations.
ToplacetheDa-03oncommonoperatingmode,youhavetoopenordesoldbothterminalsoftheJP1Jumperand
removeit.Seetheschedule.WhentheJP1jumperisopen,ledsofthecircuitwillbemaitainedlightoff.Then,themodule
willwaitforanyaccesscode.
Toinsertthecode,youhavetoproceedasfollowing:firstlyintroducethecode,digitafterdigit.Forinstnaceifyouwishto
insertthecodeNº8974,youhavetopressthe8,then9,7,andattheendthedigitNº4.Toconfirmyouhavetopressthe
digit“*”.
Ifthecodehasbeencorrectlyinserted,andthisonewasalreadystoredinamemory,theDA-03modulewillemitasignal
toconfirmandtheONLedwilllightconnectingtherelay.
Ifthecodewasnotstoredinthememory,oriftherewasamistake,themodulewillemitasignalandOFFLedwillshortly
light;theoutputwon’tbeconnected.
Thecircuitaccepttill5consecutivetrials.Afterthesetrials,themodulewillbeautomaticallyblocked,impedingany
operationduring5minutesortillyoudisconnectthepowersupply..
Afteracorrectcode,previouswrongtrialsareeliminatedtoavoidanyaccumulation.Then,afterthe5minutesofauto-
blockingorafterresettingthemodulethemodulewillalsoeliminatewrongtrialsandcomebacktoitsnormaloperating
state.
Betweenaccesscodesintroductions,youhavetowaitONorOFFledsarelightoff.Iftherelayisconnected,forinstance,
theONledwilllightingtilltheoutputisdisconnected.

Toconfiguratetheoutputontimedmode,placethe switchNº2onOFFposition.Seeschedulehereafter.
TIMEDOUTPUT..Ifyouconfiguratetheoutputontimedmode,themoduleofferthepossibilitytousetwodifferent
scales,secondsorminutes.Forinstance,ifyouhaveinsertedthenumber9,thisnumbercouldbeinsecondsorminutes
scaleaccordingtoyourneeds.
