It is possible to use the RC-Chamber reusable
with several patients due to the validated repro-
cessing record keeping of the batch.
KLINISCHE WIEDERAUFBEREITUNG
Reinigung /
Desinfektion
Ziehen Sie das Dosieraerosol ab.
Optional bei Verwendung einer Maske: Entfernen
Sie die Maske von der Aufnahmekammer.
Zerlegen Sie den RC-Chamber®reusable voll-
ständig in 5 Teile gemäß der Abbildung. Nehmen
Sie den durchsichtigen Kunststoffring mit fest
integriertem Gummiadapter ab (a), indem Sie den
Daumen tief in die Öffnung stecken. Ziehen Sie
dann mit Kraft das komplette Rückteil heraus.
Danach drehen Sie das Mundstück ab, sodass
alle 3 Bestandteile (c.– e.) einzeln zu reinigen
sind.
Legen Sie alle Einzelteile (a.– e.) in die Instru-
mentenspülmaschine und wählen Sie das Reini-
gungsprogramm mit 93°C (Einwirkzeit 5 Minuten).
Bitte die Anweisungen des Maschinenherstellers
beachten.
Verwenden sie ein pH-neutrales Reinigungs-
mittel und beachten Sie die Dosierempfehlung.
Alle Einzelteile in offener Stellung an der Luft
trocknen lassen. Auf ausreichende Trocknungs-
zeit achten. Nicht trocken reiben!
Sterilisation
Die Sterilisation ist nach folgendem Verfahren
möglich: Alle Teile in eine entsprechende Steri-
lisationsverpackung geben. Achten Sie bei vor-
heriger Reinigung / Desinfektion darauf, dass
sämtliche Teile trocken sind. Sterilisieren Sie den
RC-Chamber®reusable nach dem Verfahren der
Dampfsterilisation (DIN EN ISO 17665) bei fol-
genden Temperaturen:
• max. 134 °C (Einwirkzeit mind. 3 Minuten)
• 121 °C (Einwirkzeit mind. 15 Minuten)
Die empfohlene Abkühlzeit beträgt 30 Minuten.
Fügen Sie alle Teile gemäß Abbildung 2 wieder
zusammen. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Mund-
stück mit einem „Klick“ einrastet.
Bei der Zerlegung des RC-Chamber®
reusable
entstehen mehrerer Teile, die von Kindern ver-
schluckt werden können. Daher sind die Einzel-
teile von Kindern stets fernzuhalten.

Der Einsatz des RC-Chamber reusable ist durch
ein validiertes Aufbereitungsverfahren bei meh-
reren Patienten grundsätzlich möglich und kann
über eine Chargendokumentation mittels Barcode
rückverfolgt werden.

Disconnect the metered dose inhaler (MDI).
Optionally, when using a mask: remove the mask
From the delivery chamber.
Disassemble the RC-Chamber®reusable com-
pletely into it’s 5 parts as shown in figure II. First
remove the transparent plastic ring (a.) with the
fixed integrated rubber adapter by inserting your
thumb deep into the opening. Pull out the comple-
te back piece with force. Afterwards disassemble
the mouthpiece into the several parts (a.– e.).
Place all the individual parts in the hospital
dishwasher and select the cleaning program with
93°C (exposure time 5 minutes). Please observe
the manufacturer’s instructions. Use a pH-neutral
detergent and observe the dosage recommen-
dations by the manufacturer.
Lay the individual parts in their open position
to air-dry. Ensure sufficient drying time. Do not rub
them dry!
Sterilization
Sterilization is possible via the following proce-
dures: Place all disassembled parts into a suitable
sterilization package. Ensure that all the parts are
dry. Sterilize the RC-Chamber®
reusable according
to the steam sterilization process (DIN EN ISO
17665) using the following temperatures:
• max. 134 °C (reaction time at least 3 minutes)
• 121 °C (reaction time 15 minutes)
The recommended cooling time is 30 minutes.
Reassemble all the pieces according to figure II.
Make sure that the mouthpiece is locked in place
with a “click.”
Disassembling the RC-Chamber®reusable results
in several pieces which can be swallowed by child-
ren. There fore the individual pieces are always to
be kept out of reach of children.

DISPOSAL
Dispose the RC-Chamber®reusable appropriately
at the end of its product life.
MATERIAL DURABILITY
RC-Chamber®reusable can be reprocessed
(sterilised) up to 40 times if no rinsing liquid is
used.The RC-Chamber®reusable as well as the
mask should be replaced after 12 months.

• The items 3071, 3081 and 3091 each
include a mask
It is possible to use the RC-Chamber reusable
with several patients due to the validated repro-
cessing record keeping of the batch.

Reinigung /
Desinfektion
Ziehen Sie das Dosieraerosol ab.
Optional bei Verwendung einer Maske: Entfernen
Sie die Maske von der Aufnahmekammer.
Zerlegen Sie den RC-Chamber®reusable voll-
ständig in 5 Teile gemäß der Abbildung. Nehmen
Sie den durchsichtigen Kunststoffring mit fest
integriertem Gummiadapter ab (a), indem Sie den
Daumen tief in die Öffnung stecken. Ziehen Sie
dann mit Kraft das komplette Rückteil heraus.
Danach drehen Sie das Mundstück ab, sodass
alle 3 Bestandteile (c.– e.) einzeln zu reinigen
sind.
Legen Sie alle Einzelteile (a.– e.) in die Instru-
mentenspülmaschine und wählen Sie das Reini-
gungsprogramm mit 93°C (Einwirkzeit 5 Minuten).
Bitte die Anweisungen des Maschinenherstellers
beachten.
Verwenden sie ein pH-neutrales Reinigungs-
mittel und beachten Sie die Dosierempfehlung.
Alle Einzelteile in offener Stellung an der Luft
trocknen lassen. Auf ausreichende Trocknungs-
zeit achten. Nicht trocken reiben!
Sterilisation
Die Sterilisation ist nach folgendem Verfahren
möglich: Alle Teile in eine entsprechende Steri-
lisationsverpackung geben. Achten Sie bei vor-
heriger Reinigung / Desinfektion darauf, dass
sämtliche Teile trocken sind. Sterilisieren Sie den
RC-Chamber®reusable nach dem Verfahren der
Dampfsterilisation (DIN EN ISO 17665) bei fol-
genden Temperaturen:
• max. 134 °C (Einwirkzeit mind. 3 Minuten)
• 121 °C (Einwirkzeit mind. 15 Minuten)
Die empfohlene Abkühlzeit beträgt 30 Minuten.
Fügen Sie alle Teile gemäß Abbildung 2 wieder
zusammen. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Mund-
stück mit einem „Klick“ einrastet.
Bei der Zerlegung des RC-Chamber®
reusable
entstehen mehrerer Teile, die von Kindern ver-
schluckt werden können. Daher sind die Einzel-
teile von Kindern stets fernzuhalten.

ENTSORGUNG
Nach Ende der Nutzung den RC-Chamber® reusable
ordnungsgemäß entsorgen.
MATERIALBESTÄNDIGKEIT
RC-Chamber®reusable können bis zu 40 Mal
wiederaufbereitet werden, wenn kein Nachspül-
mittel verwendet wird. Nach einem Jahr sollten
der RC-Chamber®
reusable sowie die Masken
ausgetauscht werden.

Bitte lesen Sie vor dem ersten Gebrauch
des RC-Chamber®reusable die Gebrauchs-
anweisung sorgfältig durch. Beachten Sie
bitte auch weiterhin die Gebrauchsanwei-
sung des Verneblers
Im Lieferumfang sind enthalten:
• Mundstück
•Ventil & Einatemkontrolle
Cross Valve Technology™
•Aerosol-Aufnahmekammer
•Rückteil: durchsichtiger Kunststoffring
mit fest integriertem Gummiadapter
• die Artikel 3071, 3081 und 3091
enthalten zusätzlich je eine Maske
Der Einsatz des RC-Chamber reusable ist durch
ein validiertes Aufbereitungsverfahren bei meh-
reren Patienten grundsätzlich möglich und kann
über eine Chargendokumentation mittels Barcode
rückverfolgt werden.

Cleaning / Disinfection
Disconnect the metered dose inhaler (MDI).
Optionally, when using a mask: remove the mask
From the delivery chamber.
Disassemble the RC-Chamber®reusable com-
pletely into it’s 5 parts as shown in figure II. First
remove the transparent plastic ring (a.) with the
fixed integrated rubber adapter by inserting your
thumb deep into the opening. Pull out the comple-
te back piece with force. Afterwards disassemble
the mouthpiece into the several parts (a.– e.).
Place all the individual parts in the hospital
dishwasher and select the cleaning program with
93°C (exposure time 5 minutes). Please observe
the manufacturer’s instructions. Use a pH-neutral
detergent and observe the dosage recommen-
dations by the manufacturer.
Lay the individual parts in their open position
to air-dry. Ensure sufficient drying time. Do not rub
them dry!
Sterilization
Sterilization is possible via the following proce-
dures: Place all disassembled parts into a suitable
sterilization package. Ensure that all the parts are
dry. Sterilize the RC-Chamber®
reusable according
to the steam sterilization process (DIN EN ISO
17665) using the following temperatures:
• max. 134 °C (reaction time at least 3 minutes)
• 121 °C (reaction time 15 minutes)
The recommended cooling time is 30 minutes.
Reassemble all the pieces according to figure II.
Make sure that the mouthpiece is locked in place
with a “click.”
Disassembling the RC-Chamber®reusable results
in several pieces which can be swallowed by child-
ren. There fore the individual pieces are always to
be kept out of reach of children.
