These operating instructions are intended to familiarise you with the operation of this
product. Please read the manual carefully and keep it in a safe place for future reference.
• This is not a toy! Risk of burns!
• Do not begin assembly until you have read and understood the complete operating
instructions.
• All users of this appliance must read and understand this manual before operating
or cleaning this unit.
• Do not connect the appliance near water and do not touch it with wet hands. Risk
of electric shock!
Note: Never immerse the appliance/appliance parts in water or hold them under
running water. Do not clean in the dishwasher. Use a damp cloth for cleaning and
wipe with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use an abrasive cloth or sponge.
• Do not pull on the unit‘s cable as this may damage it.
• Keep the appliance away from other heat sources.
• The appliance is intended for household or similar use only. It must not be used for
commercial purposes.
• The appliance is suitable for indoor use only.
• Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
• The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in damage
or injury.
• Never touch hot surfaces. Use only the intended handles, knobs and switches.
• Store or use the appliance out of the reach of children.

• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and by persons

knowledge, provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the
appliance and understand the hazards involved. This popcorn machine is not a toy!
• The appliance must not be operated via a timer or a separate remote control system.
• Do not carry out any repairs on your own.
• If you notice any damage to the appliance or any unexpected or unusual
operation, do not continue to use the unit! Disconnect the unit from the power

START UP
• Failure to follow the above instructions may result in personal injury and damage
to the unit. Incorrect installation or incorrect use may invalidate the warranty. The
manufacturer accepts no responsibility for misuse resulting from failure to follow
the instructions for use.
• If you are unsure about the installation or need help, contact a specialist, your dealer

• Before Start up: Check the appliance, the mains cable and any accessories for
damage.
• Only use the unit if it is not damaged!
• Before using the unit for the rst time: Clean the inside surface with a damp cloth
and wipe immediately afterwards with a dry cloth.
• Place the appliance on a dry, level and heat-resistant work surface.
• Make sure that the appliance has good stability.
• Only connect the mains plug directly to a socket. The socket should be easily
accessible so that you can quickly disconnect the appliance from the mains in an
emergency. Do not use extension cords.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not crushed, kinked or under tension. Avoid
hanging the power cord from the edge of a table or work surface to prevent it from
being pulled down.
• Always switch off the appliance when you have nished preparing the popcorn and
unplug the appliance after each use.
• After use, allow the appliance to cool down for at least 15 minutes before using it
again, touching it, cleaning it or removing any parts.
• Do not leave any utensils in the appliance while it is in operation.
• Do not move the appliance while the popcorn is being prepared.
• Hot air operated popcorn machines: Do not put butter, oil, water or other liquids into
the popcorn kettle.
• Machines with heating kettle: Use only vegetable oil and no other liquid for the
preparation.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
• Do not reach into the appliance while it is in operation or connected to the mains.
• Always keep the door/ap/lid closed while preparing the popcorn.
• Keep your face and hands away from the appliance while it is cooking.
• Be careful when removing the nished popcorn. Danger of burns! Let it cool down
for a moment.

INSTRUCTION
First, position the appliance near a power socket on a stable surface.
1. Set out the accessories: Popping corn, spices, bowl for the nished popcorn, oil,
measuring spoon, measuring cup, (Measuring spoon is included in the delivery).
2. Connect the appliance to the mains socket. Make sure that the appliance is switched
off.
3. Make sure that the kettle is correctly positioned in the holder.
4. Make sure that the plug is plugged into the kettle.
5. Switch on the appliance. Leave the appliance on for 3-5 minutes so that the kettle
is preheated.
6. Switch off the appliance.
7. Fill the oil measuring spoon 2/3 full with your favourite popcorn oil and then pour it
into the kettle. It is advisable to use a rened vegetable oil with a high smoke point
for best results.
8. Fill the grain measuring spoon 2/3 full with the popcorn corn and then add it to the
oil in the kettle and close it.
9. Switch the appliance back on and close the door. Fresh, hot popcorn will pop out of
the opening provided.
10. As soon as the kernels have stopped popping, tilt the kettle using the hand crank
on the side.
USEFUL TIPS
• If your celexon CP1000 popcorn machine starts to smoke during
preparation, this may be caused by accumulated fat/grease. To
prevent this, clean the inside of the kettle after each use.
• When no popping sounds are heard for a period of 30 seconds,
switch off the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. The appliance must be disconnected from the power source before cleaning.
2. Clean the appliance only with a slightly damp cloth.
3. Remove the plug from the kettle and take it out of the holder.
4. After removing the kettle from the main unit, ll 2/3 of the kettle with hot soapy
water.
5. Allow the kettle to soak for 15-20 minutes to loosen the grease. (Thesoaking time
may vary depending on the degree of soiling).
6. Remove the water. If necessary, remove any residue with a cloth
7. Rinse the interior carefully and then dry it. Clean the outside with a damp cloth and
then dry it.
8. Before using again, make sure that all components, the connection
socket on the kettle, are absolutely dry and free of residual moisture.
Note: Never immerse the kettle in liquids. Always clean everything by
hand. Do not put any components in the dishwasher. Always allow the
appliance to cool down before cleaning and after use, otherwise there is
an acute risk of burns!
