INTRODUCTION
The Cerberus Pyrotronics Manual Station
Model MSI-MB6 is an addressable device
containing advanced control panel communi-
cation technology. This technology, which
provides bidirectional communication with the
control panel, produces an Intelligent Initiating
Device. The MSI-MB6 is a single action sta-
tion; when used with the MS-DA plate, the
MSI-MB6 is a double action station.
OPERATION
The MSI-MB6 Manual Station operates with either
the MXL Control Panel or the XL3 Control Panel.
When an alarm condition occurs, pull down on
the PULL lever of the manual station. This
pushes the switch down to ALARM position.
The pull-down cover remains down and locked
until the station is reset.
The MSI-MB6 with the MS-DA plate has an
additional lever labeled LIFT PULL LEVER
which must be lifted up before access is
provided to the station PULL.
INSTALLATION
1. Locate the opening on the MSI-MB6 cover
that allows access to the programming
points on the MSI-MB6 printed circuit
board. (Refer to Figure 1.)
2. The manual station is programmed by
using the Cerberus Pyrotronics Model
FPI-32 Programmer/Tester. Connect the
MSI-MB6 to the FPI-32 by using the cable
provided with the Programmer/Tester.
