Chapter 1 Product Intro
1.1 Product Intro
H100 is the smart handheld terminal that introd ced by Chainway,
which is specially designed for healthcare ind stry. H100 is an
Android 6.0 mobile comp ter, it is ltra-thin and pocketable eno gh to
satisfy all healthcare providers. Both patient and staff information can
be collected a tomatically with 1D/2D barcode scanning, NFC,
fingerprint recognition, and camera, or be synchronized to the
hospital backend system with real-time network connectivity.
H100 will not only provide better healthcare services to medical staffs
and patients, b t also it will be in favor of pgrading management
works of hospital.
H100 is specially designed for healthcare ind stry, its integrated
design makes it with feat res s ch as ltra-thin, awesome holding
and exq isite. The ho sing is also specially designed for medical
ind stry so that it can be sterilized by alcohol. Meanwhile, it is
integrated with p pil scanning lamp that makes it convenient for
medical staff to check vital signs of patients.
This device is integrated with best-in-class Zebra 2D barcode
scanning engine which make it acc rate and fast to identify vario s
1D/2D codes. For the image collection f nctional p rposes, H100 is
also integrated with 1.3M high-resol tion a to-foc s camera and NFC
comm nication technology.
H100 adopts 5 inch high-resol tion (1920*1080) screen. Its r gged
capacitive to ch panel s pports operation with wet hands or gloves,
which is often the case in healthcare steps. It integrated with precise
fingerprint identification mod le to verify fingerprint to gain access to
PDA and prevent patients’ information leakage in effective way.
Alternatively, it will avoid data distrib tion in case of device missing.

This device can f lly s pport fast 4G LTE network connectivity which
makes it easy for mobile working, it config red with WIFI wireless
connection to facilitate data transfer more stable. Meanwhile, H100
also s pport Bl etooth, it can connect vario s Bl etooth devices that
accords to its comm nication protocol.

1.2 Precautions before using battery
Do not leave battery n sed for long time, no matter it is in
device or inventory. If battery has been sed for 6 months
already, it sho ld be check for charging f nction or it sho ld be
disposed correctly.
The lifespan of Li-ion battery is aro nd 2 to 3 years, it can be
circ larly charged for 300 to 500 times. (One f ll battery charge
period means completely charged and completely discharged.)
The lifespan of chargeable battery is limited and it will lose its
charge retention reg larly. This loss is irrevocable. When
battery lost its capacity, the lifespan wo ld be c t.
When Li-ion battery is not in sed, it will contin e discharge
slowly. Therefore, battery charging stat s sho ld be checked
freq ently and take reference of the related battery charging
information on the man als.
Observe and record the information of a new n sed and non-
f lly charged battery. On the basis of operating time of new
battery and compare with a battery that has been sed for long
time. According to prod ct config ration and application
program, the operating time of battery wo ld be different.
Check battery charging stat s at reg lar intervals.
When battery operating time drops below abo t 80%, charging
time will be increased remarkably.
If a battery is stored or otherwise n sed for an extended
period, be s re to follow the storage instr ctions in this
doc ment. If yo do not follow the instr ctions, and the battery
has no charge remaining when yo check it, consider it to be
damaged. Do not attempt to recharge it or to se it. Replace it
with a new battery.
Store the battery at temperat res between 5 °C and 20 °C
(41 °F and 68 °F).

2. Battery charge
By sing USB Type-C contact, the original adaptor sho ld be sed for
charging the device. Make s re not to se other adaptors to charge
the device.
2.4 Power button
Switching-on or switching-off f nction can be exec ted by long press
power b tton on the right for 3 seconds. Short press power b tton
can start on or stand by the device.

1. In the application App center to open “2D(S)”.
2. Click the key “Scan” or scanning b tton to start scanning. And
the parameter a to interval can be set also.
