Thank you for purchasing The Candle Maker by
Chandler & Me. With this unit you’ll be making
candles like a pro Chandler in no time. Please
read this manual carefully to ensure safe and
proper use and years of candle making fun and
enjoyment.
Instructions for using your Candle Maker with the
500ml jug (supplied)
Place the unit on a at, even surface such as a
kitchen counter and plug in the unit. To turn the
unit on, simply place the jug onto the heating
element. At start-up all lights will ash briey, and
a short beep will be heard. Buttons 1, 2, 3 will start
ashing and the machine is now ready for use.
1. Pour a pre-measured amount of soy
wax into the jug and press button to
start the melting procedure
2. When button is ashing pour your
pre-measured fragrance into the jug
and press this button to start the stirring
procedure
3. When button lights up it is time to lift
the jug and pour the wax carefully into
your candle jar
Before you pour: Stick the wick
rmly to the base of the jar,
being careful to ensure it is
centered in the middle of the
jar. Use the wooden wick holder
to help support your wick in the
centre, as per the diagram.
Pouring: Pour the melted wax slowly but surely into
the jar, being careful to avoid the wooden wick
holder.
For the best results let your candle cool slowly
in an area of the house with a relatively stable
temperature.
Tip: If you have a marble or stone benchtop, place
the candle on a bread board to prevent too much
heat being drawn into the bench.
Once the wax has been poured try not to disturb
the jar while the wax is setting.

Press button to start normal operation.
Best for: making 1 to 2 medium size soy
candles at a time using the standard jug.
Press button to start large batch mode.
Best for: making 4 - 5 medium size soy
candles at a time using the large jug.
Tip! Always feed the wax akes in as it melts
to avoid overloading the stirrer.
Changing the mode. Your Candle Maker has
three handy modes that provide exibility for
making bigger batches using the large jug
(sold separately) and for melting beeswax at a
higher heat.
Press button to start high heat mode
which will melt your wax to around 82C.
You can then remove the melted wax or
continue the stirring phase.
Best for: melting of beeswax to 82C. Can be
used with both the standard and large jug.
High Heat Mode
Large Batch Mode. This mode should be selected
when you are using the large 1 litre jug (sold
separately).

appliance, please check for any damages or
defects and contact the supplier immediately if
any issues are found.

dispose of the packaging carefully.
Keep plastic bags and small items away
from children and pets.
• The Candle Maker should only be used for the
melting and mixing of ingredients supplied
by Chandler & Me and/or our authorised
distributors; any unintended use, including using
other ingredients, may damage the unit and will
void your warranty.
• The Candle Maker is designed for making soy
candles using pre-tested and pre-measured
ingredients packs available at
www.chandlerandme.com and authorised
waxes and fragrances available through our
distributors.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for any
defects, accidents or potential injury as a result
of misuse of this appliance.
• If this unit malfunctions please disconnect the
power immediately. Do not attempt to repair
the unit yourself. Please notify the distributor
immediately.
• The Candle Maker is recommended for ages
10 and up. Please supervise younger children
and anyone who may have reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they are
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• During use, do not touch the heating element
or the body of the jug. Both of which can reach
temperatures of over 85 degrees Celsius.
• After use do not touch the heating element
surface as it is subject to residual heat.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
• Avoid spillage on the power plug socket.
Cleaning
• When cleaning the appliance, unplug the unit
from the mains power supply. Wipe the unit with
a damp cloth. Be careful as the heating element
may still be hot.
• DO NOT immerse the main unit into water,
doing so will damage the internal electrical
components and your warranty will be voided.
Immersing the unit in water while plugged in to
the mains may cause a severe electric shock!
• Clean the jug using hot soapy water.
• There may be some slight soy wax residue in the
jug, washing in hot soapy water will dissipate the
wax and the water can be ushed down the sink.
The soy wax is plant based and
eco-friendly.
Trouble Shooting
• If the jug is accidentally lifted from the heating
element part way through the process simply
place it back on the element. The unit will reset
back to stage one, press the ashing icon again.
• If you walk away and attend to other tasks
around the home while making a candle don’t
worry, the unit will wait for you at whatever stage
it is up to. The unit will turn off after two hours if a
button has not been pressed or the jug lifted.

ingredients from the Chandler & Me website or your
local distributor. Using other ingredients in your
Candle Maker, or using the unit for any purpose
other than authorized by Chandler & Me will void
your warranty.
