Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new CHAUVET Snow Machine. We are confident
you will enjoy many trouble free hours with this unit. To assist with the care and use of the
product we have prepared this short guide.
Operation
Before plugging in this unit, you must first fill the fluid tank with snow fluid and attach sock to
the front of unit.
This unit has been designed to operate on 120v-50/60Hz or 220v/50Hz.
Place the machine on a level surface and loosen the cap of the fluid tank to fill with quality
water based snow fluid. We recommend the use of CHAUVET snow fluid as it has been spe-
cially formulated for use with the CHAUVET snow machine.
This unit has been designed to operate via the included wired remote control or via the
‘Manual Button’ on the rear of the unit. To operate via remote control, plug the remote control
into the socket at the rear of the unit. Flip on ‘Power Switch’ on rear of unit. Depress button
on remote to disperse snow. If manual dispersion is desired, depress ‘Manual Button’ on rear
of unit to disperse snow. Snow will continue to disperse as long as button is depressed.
Installation/Mounting
The snow machine must be used in a horizontal position sitting on a level surface. Take care
not to aim directly into anyone’s face.
Cleaning
Unplug unit before attempting to clean.
After every 40 hours of continuous operation or when the machine will be idle for a long
period of time it is recommended to run a cleaning solution composed of distilled water
through the system to prevent the accumulation of particles.
1. While unit is unplugged, remove sock and clean with mild soap and water.
Allow sock to dry completely before reattaching to unit.
2. Empty all snow fluid from the machine and replace with distilled water. Plug
unit in and depress ‘Manual Button’ at the rear of the unit. Run in a well ventilated area
until tank is empty.
3. Replace clean sock.
4. Clean the body of the unit with a soft damp cloth.
5. Unplug and refill with CHAUVET snow fluid. (refill immediately before use)
Awell maintained machine will provide years of reliable use.
Replacing Fuses
In the event that the unit does not function when plugged in, then it is likely that the fuse
has blown.
Unplug unit before attempting to replace the fuse.
In order to replace the fuse, unscrew the ‘Fuseholder Cap’ to reveal the fuse. The unit has
a label attached which indicates the correct fuse rating or you may refer to the Technical
Specifications section in this guide. It is most important that replacement fuses are of the
correct rating. Failure to use the correct fuse could damage the unit beyond economic
repair.
The fuse should simply be placed inside the holder and the screw cap replaced.
Maintenance & Servicing
Do not allow snow fluid to become contaminated.
Work on internal parts should be carried out by a qualified technician. Removal of any cov-
ers is considered a breach of warranty and will not be covered under any such agreement
unless authorized by CHAUVET.
