Setup
Montaje
1. Open the Chair Base by squeezing
the release buttons on both handles.
Then pull out the back leg slightly
and push down until it locks into
place.
Check to make sure the Chair Base is
in its open locked position.

4. To attach the Footrest, insert the
Footrest into the groove on the Leg
Rest and rotate down to snap it into
place.
The Footrest can be adjusted to 3
different positions, as shown.

5. Place the Seat Pad on the Seat.
Make sure to slide the backrest into
the top of the Seat Pad, as shown.

7. If Backrest Extension is removed,
insert both hooks into the slots on the
front of the Backrest.

back on the Backrest Extension and
line up the pins with the holes on
the back of the Backrest. Continue
to push back until the tab snaps into

Make sure the Backrest Extension is
attached securely by pulling up on
both sides.

9a. The height of the High Chair and
Youth Stool can be adjusted. There
are 8 different height positions.
To adjust the height press in on both
buttons on the back of the Chair Base
and lift up* or push down until the
desired height is reached.
* Seat can be raised without pushing
the buttons.

10. To provide a better fit for your
child the Shoulder Straps can be
adjusted to two heights on the
Backrest as shown.
Choose the slot at or slightly above
your child's shoulder level.
To adjust the Shoulder Straps push
the D-ring through the slot on the
back of the Backrest.
Always make sure the Shoulder Straps
are adjusted to the same height on
each side and that both Shoulder
Straps are secure.

Prevent serious injury or death from
falls or sliding out.
HIGH CHAIR USE
• Always secure child in the restraint.
• Never leave child unattended.
•The child should be secured in the
high chair at all times by the restraint
system, either in the reclining or
upright position. The tray is not
designed to hold the child in the
chair.
• It is recommended that the high
chair be used in the upright position
only by children capable of sitting
upright unassisted.
• Always place the high chair on a
horizontal, stable surface. Do not
move chair with child in it.
• In High Chair mode, the high chair
is recommended for children up to
36 months old, or for children who
weigh less than 40 lbs (18.1 kg).
• When using the high chair, do not
place your child near objects that he
or she can push against to overturn
the high chair.
• Do not adjust the recline of the high
chair with your child in it.
• Make sure both compartments are
properly closed to assure seat locks
onto chair frame.
• Do not use the product if any part is
broken, torn, or missing.
• Ensure that all components are
correctly fitted and adjusted before
use.
•To avoid the danger of suffocation,
remove all plastic covers before using
the product.
• Do not attach ribbons, cords or any
other items to the toy bar, other than
the toys included with the product.
• Do not leave the product near walls,
curtains, or windows, where the child
can become entangled.
• Do not attach any parts to the
product that are not supplied or
expressly approved by Chicco.

Base. Then sliding the tab on the
back of the Seat into the slot on the
inside of the Chair Base, as shown.

13. The Backrest can be adjusted to 4
different positions.
To adjust the Backrest squeeze
the recline handle on the back of
the Backrest and push forward or
backwards and then release to lock it
into place.

14. To use the Insert, undo the safety
harness and remove the shoulder
pads. Place the Insert into the
seat. Thread the straps through the
corresponding openings and tuck the
Insert down into the seat.
Slide the shoulder pads back on to
the shoulder straps, and connect the
Safety Harness.

16. The safety harness can be
released by pressing the button on
the center of the Crotch Strap Buckle
and pulling both Waist Clips out.
Pull on the Shoulder Strap Connector
to remove it from the Waist Strap
Clip.

15. The High Chair has a 5-point
safety harness.
Make sure the Shoulder Strap
Connector is in the correct position,
as shown. Slide the Shoulder Strap
Connector onto the Waist Strap Clip
and repeat for the other side.
Then slide both Waist Clips into the
Crotch Strap Buckle as shown. Pull on
both sides to make sure the Clips are
secured to the Buckle.

the arms on the Seat and press down

Always check that the Tray is securely
attached by pulling on it.

adjustment buckles to tighten or
loosen.
The length of the Waist Straps can be
adjusted by pressing the tab at the
end of the Waist Strap Clip and pulling
on the strap to tighten or loosen to
better fit your child.

19. The Tray can be adjusted to 3
different positions. To adjust the Tray
squeeze the handle on the front of the
Tray and slide it forward or
backwards.
TheTray can be removed by
squeezing the handle on the front of
theTray and lifting up.
TheTray Liner can be snapped onto
theTray and removed by lifting up at
the handle grips on either side of the
Tray Liner.

BOOSTER SEAT USE
• Never leave child unattended.
• Never allow a child to push away
from table.
• Never allow child to sit in unsecured
chair. Always secure the booster seat
to chair using both the attachment
straps. Always check that the
attachment is secure before each
use.
• Prevent serious injury or death. Do
not use in motor vehicles.
• Until child is able to get in and out of
the booster seat without help (about
2 1/2 years old), the child should be
secured in the booster seat at all
times by the restraint system. The
tray is not designed to hold the child
in the chair.
•The booster seat must be used in
the upright position only by children
capable of sitting upright unassisted.
Do not recline the back in booster
seat mode.
• In booster seat mode, do not use for
children weighing more than 50 lbs
(23 kg).
• Do not use this booster seat as a
standalone chair, it can only be used
when strapped to a full sized dining
room chair.
• Do not use on any elevated surface
other than a full sized dining room
chair.
• Never fit the booster seat to
damaged or unstable chairs, folding
chairs, pedestal chairs or bar stools.
• Only use on chairs with a seating
area larger than the booster seat.
• Always check that the surface of the
floor is even and the chair is stable
before fitting the booster seat to the
chair.
• Do not use the product if any part is

the Toy Bar. Wrap the strap around
the bar and attach the hook and loop
tabs together, as shown.
23b. Make sure the toys are not in
the child's face by rotating the toy
bar into one of the 3 positions. The
Backrest must be reclined to allow
clearance from the child's face.

upright position.
Remove the Seat from the Chair Base
by squeezing both buttons on either
side of the Seat and pulling up.

compartments, as shown.
Keep both compartments open when
installing on a chair.

25. Flip the Seat over and pull open
both strap compartments. Remove
both the Rear and Lower Booster Seat
Straps from the compartments.
The black Lower Booster Seat Straps
go around the bottom of the chair
and the gray Rear Booster Seat Straps
go around the back of the chair.

28. Fasten the black Lower Booster Seat
Straps, passing them underneath the
seat. Pull the Lower Booster Seat Strap
to tighten.
Pull on the Seat and make sure the
Booster Seat Straps do not become loose.
If they become loose, reposition and
retighten the Lower and Rear Booster
Seat Straps to make sure they do not
become loose.
Refer to steps 18-20 on attaching and
storing theTray.
SEE STEPS 15-17 on securing your Child
in the Booster Seat.

31. Flip the Seat over and pull open
both strap compartments. Remove
both the Rear and Lower Booster Seat
Straps from the compartments.
The black Lower Booster Seat Straps
go around the bottom of the chair
and the gray Rear Booster Seat Straps
go around the back of the chair.
Close both compartments, making
sure to thread the straps through
the slots on the back of the Seat, as
shown.

Remove the Seat from the Chair Base
by squeezing both buttons on either
side of the Seat and pulling up.
