Thank you for purchasing this product.
It is recommended that you FORMAT the memory card once in every 2 weeks
Basic / Daily Usage
A. Connect the power cable with Apollo on one end and car’s 12Vsocket on the other. Then, when your
car is in either “On”, “Acc”, or “Start”then Apollo will record automatically.
B. In a case of an accident or you have just passed by a sight that you would like to keep, press button
number 4 (please see diagram on top of this page). Once pressed, text “EMG”in red will appear. This
means that the video file that was being recorded at the time will be locked.
Warning: The more “Locked”files are stored in the memory card, the less space for newer video clips.
Please transfer the important files to your computer then FORMAT the card.
C. When key is out of the car, Apollo will continue to record for 20 seconds and shut down automatically.
To Review and Play the Recorded Files Using Apollo
A. If Apollo is recording, press button 2 to stop recording.
B. Press button 6 twice slowly. (Pressing it once will send you to taking picture mode).
C. Press either button 2 or 5 until you find the video file you want. Press button 4 to play that video file.
D. When playing, pressing Button 4 = Pause
Button 2 = Rewind
Button 5 = Fast Forward
Button 6 = Stop
E. To return to video standby mode, press button 6 once.
When You Do Not Want to Record Sound in Your Video
A. Once Apollo is turned on and is in standby mode (which is the default mode when turned on), press
button 5.
B. If you pressed button 5, then you should be able to see that microphone icon on the left of the screen
be locked and unlocked (Note: Shape without lock = voice is being recorded).

When You Want the Screen to Shut Off by itself (1 minute)
A. Turn on Apollo. Then press button 3 three times slowly.
B. You should see text “Setup”, use button 5 until you scroll down to text “SCREEN SAVER”.
Then press button 4.
C. Highlight on “On”and then press button 4 to confirm.
D. Press button 3 one last time to exit the setup menu.
Note: During recording, pressing button 1 at any time will turn the screen on and off.
There is a Checklist to Follow before Installing Apollo
(Although it is not necessary to follow in order for Apollo to function, it was determined after several
experiments that this is the most optimal way)
A. Make sure the date and time is set correctly.
B. Set “Auto Power Off”setting to “3 minutes”.
C. Set “Screen Saver”setting to “On”.
D. Set “Loop Recording”to “5 minutes”(3 min or OFF is not recommended).
E. Set “G-SENSOR”to “Middle Sensitivity”(High Sensitivity is not recommended).
F. Lastly, FORMAT the memory card.
If you want G-Sensor setting to be “High Sensitivity”, please set Loop Recording to 3 minutes and
remember to FORMAT the card more often. If not, dashcam may not be able to record successfully.
Default Settings of Apollo, but to Check Just in Case.
A. Is Resolution set to “1080FHD”?
B. Is “WDR”function turned on?
C. Is Date Stamp function turned on?
D. Lastly FORMAT the memory card.
The battery inside Apollo is intended for temporary use only. When it is installed in your car and is
functioning, please connect the 12V power cable. Thank you
