When You Want the Screen to Shut Off by itself (1 minute)
A. Turn on Apollo. Then press button 3 three times slowly.
B. You should see text “Setup”, use button 5 until you scroll down to text “SCREEN SAVER”.
Then press button 4.
C. Highlight on “On”and then press button 4 to confirm.
D. Press button 3 one last time to exit the setup menu.
Note: During recording, pressing button 1 at any time will turn the screen on and off.
There is a Checklist to Follow before Installing Apollo
(Although it is not necessary to follow in order for Apollo to function, it was determined after several
experiments that this is the most optimal way)
A. Make sure the date and time is set correctly.
B. Set “Auto Power Off”setting to “3 minutes”.
C. Set “Screen Saver”setting to “On”.
D. Set “Loop Recording”to “5 minutes”(3 min or OFF is not recommended).
E. Set “G-SENSOR”to “Middle Sensitivity”(High Sensitivity is not recommended).
F. Lastly, FORMAT the memory card.
If you want G-Sensor setting to be “High Sensitivity”, please set Loop Recording to 3 minutes and
remember to FORMAT the card more often. If not, dashcam may not be able to record successfully.
Default Settings of Apollo, but to Check Just in Case.
A. Is Resolution set to “1080FHD”?
B. Is “WDR”function turned on?
C. Is Date Stamp function turned on?
D. Lastly FORMAT the memory card.
The battery inside Apollo is intended for temporary use only. When it is installed in your car and is
functioning, please connect the 12V power cable. Thank you
