2. Method of detaching Each Part
Please pull out power plug from the outlet before any detaching work..
2.1. Detaching Printer Cover
The printer cover can be detached by lifting it up along the direction of the arrow as shown in Fig 2.1-1.

2.2 Detaching Upper Case
1) Put the printer body upside down, then, one is able to see 4-pieces of screws for fixing the upper case.
Please remove them.
(Caution : It is preferable to put your printer upside down above a soft cushion, for example; sponge etc..)

2) put the printer body upside down again, in order to detach the upper case.
2.3 Detaching Control Board
1) Put the printer body upside down, then, remove 2-pieces of screws for fixing the bottom cover.

2) Open the bottom cover, detach the bottom cover.

3) Remove 2-pieces of screws for fixing the control board.

[3] Flat cable for printer connecting use

4) Pull out the power board connector.
5) Finally, detach the flat cable for the printer connecting use.
Caution 1 : Be careful to pull out every connectors in their straight directions.
If any distortion of connector’s front has been introduced in the pulling out operation,
it may cause unnecessary trouble (s) in the next operation work.
Caution 2 : Be careful to deal with the control board, because it contains a lot of IC.

2.4 Detaching Power Source
The power source consists of power cord, power switch, transformer, etc.. they are build on power board.
The procedures of detachment are shown as below:
1) Pull out the power board connector (see 2.3)
2) Detach the upper case. (see2.2)
3) Remove the screws for fixing earth line.
4) Remove the power code from slit of the lower case.
5) Hold up the power board block.

2.5 Detaching Print Head
1) Pull out the printer’s flat cable from the control board. (see 2.3)
2) Detach the upper case. (see 2.2)
3) Hold up the print head, and slide it ahead, then it can be detached.
Caution : Avoid directly touching the print head. Because it is very often hot immediately after print operation.
Also, exerting unnecessary heavy force on the print head is apt to damage it,
and unexpected trouble (s) may be introduced.
3. Circuit Composition
Fig 3-1 denotes a block diagram about the circuit composition.

The control part not only deals with signal exchanges between the printer and its host computer,
but also regulates and forces to perform related print operation.

3.1 Interface Circuits
3.1.1 Parallel interface of iDP562-CNL
The input data of interface connector CN1 can be read in the PA-port of I / O 8155 by the strobe (STB).
The relevant “Timing chart”is denoted in Fig 3.1.1-2

3.1.2 Serial Interface of iDP562-RSL and iDP562-RSL2
There are several types of RS-232C, TTL, current loop, in the category of serial interface.
The input data can be read in from the receive data (RD) terminal of interface connector CN1.
Once the start bit of RD signal is received, DTR signal outputs BUSY. On the other hand,
DTR signal outputs READY, when “read-in”or “print operation”is finished.
Caution : TTL, current loop are factory option.

3.2 Printer Head Signal
The circuit for the input from print head.
The drive circuits are denoted in 3.2.3. Relevant print control makes the printer head actuating, when “on”states
of the motor, and simultaneously, 20ms “on”of main solenoid are realized.
Then, the printer operation is started while home position sensor shifts its states from “on”to “off”by the printer
head. The printer solenoid signal, corresponding print pattern will be issued from PB-port of I / O 8155.
As for the pulse width of the print solenoid signal, it is equivalent to “7 x (timing pulse)”.
