Calibration
The distance between the build plate and extruder is calibrated at the factory. If the print model
releases from the build plate during printing, or if the extruder can't print the first layer correctly, it
may mean that the distance between the build plate and the extruder needs to be recalibrated.
Do the following: Take a sheet of regular A4 sized 80 gsm paper. Place the paper between the
build plate and the extruder. The build plate and the extruder will be the correct distance apart
when the paper can be moved back and forth with just a slight resistance.
1. Press Setting 2. Press Calibration
3. Press to raise the
extruder.
4. Press to lower the
extruder.
5. Press ok when you are
happy with the gap
6. PressCompleted to exit the calibration setting
