Safety
• Incorrect handling of this product could result in personal injury.
• The product should always be disconnected from themains when it is not in use,
when it is to be assembled/disassembled and when it is to be cleaned.
• The product may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and knowledge
provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children aged 8 or over, but only
under adult supervision.
• Keep theproduct and its mains lead out of reach of children under theage of 8.
• Switch theproduct off and disconnect it from themains before removing theblade
or any of themoving parts.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage. Refer to theproduct’s
rating plate.
• Never use theproduct for anything other than its intended use.
• Only use theprovided accessories.
• The product should only be used and stored indoors.
• Never use theproduct close to heat sources.
• Always disconnect theproduct from thepower supply by holding and pulling
theplug. Do not pull themains lead.
• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.
• To prevent electric shocks, theproduct and its mains lead should be kept dry.
• Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and that theproduct is switched
off before it is connected to thepower supply.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use theproduct if themains
lead or plug is damaged. The mains lead must be changed if damaged.
This is to prevent therisk of electric shock or fire and should only be carried out
by themanufacturer, qualified service facility or qualified technician.
