OPERATING YOUR OSCILLATING VERTICAL QUARTZ HEATER
CAUTION: The EPS (thermocol) inside this front grill is for protection of the Quartz
Tube Heating Element during transportation.
Please remove the front grill by pulling the top portion to release the locks, remove
the thermocol packing and refix the front grill before use. Failure to do so
will cause the thermocol to burn and produce toxic fumes and will also damage
the heater.
1. In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater
2. Do not turn on the heater if the casing shows visible damage ( cracks / Breaks),
if the power cord is faulty or if any invisible defect is suspected (for instance, after a fall)
3. Only connect the heater if the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds with the
mains voltage at your place.
4. Heater surfaces that radiate heat can become hotter than 60˚C
5. When in use, the power cord must not lie on the heater.
6. Be careful and do not use the heater in the immediate surroundings of a both, a shower
or swimming pool.
7. The heater must be placed in such a way that combustible objects cannot catch fire.
8. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
9. The heater must be positioned away from towels, curtains and such likes, as there is
danger of overheating when it is coverd.The fresh air intake and the blowing out of warm
air musyt not be impeded.
10. For maintenance and after use, the heater must always be turned off, the plug must be
pulled out and the heater must be allowed to cool down.
11. The heater must not be stored outdoors.
12. The heater may only be cleaned with a dry cloth or with a slightly moist cloth. The electric
parts (switch, plug, heating element etc) must not get in touch with water.
13. The heater has hot and/or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline,

paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
14. Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the
heater on automatically since a risk of fire exists, if heater is covered or positioned
incorrectly.
15. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard,
16. The plug must be removed from socket outlet before cleaning the reflector.
17. Front grill must be in place when heater is in use to prevent direct access to the heating
elements.
18. Front grill becomes hot, keep out of reach of children and infirm persons.
19. Do not use the heater to dry clothes.

This product carries a warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase against defects
caused by faulty workmanship and materials. The warranty excludes defects caused by
the product not being used in accordance with instructions, mis-use, accidental damage
and tampering with by un-authorised persons. In the event of any defect arising during
warranty period, the same should be taken to your nearest dealer or wholesaler. It will
then be taken care of as per the discretion of the company’s representative. The
warranty does not cover damage/defects caused by the events beyond control like acts
of god, lightning, abnormal power supply, voltage fluctuations.
