Ambulatory Infusion Pump

Clinician Quick Reference
Loading the Administration Set
1. Open pump tubing door
by pulling down on door
latch located on right side
of pump.
2. When loading set,
reservoir bag will be on
left side of pump.
3. Locate pumping segment
of set. It consists of softer
segment of tubing about 4 ½
inches long. At right end of
segment is black set key.
4. Match set key to slot. Set
key fits into slot of same
shape located in pump
tubing channel.
5. Push key fully into slot.
Important: During loading,
keep segment straight but
do not stretch it.
6. Press rest of segment into
tubing channel.
7. Close pump tubing door
until you hear it click shut.
Important: While closing door,
keep segment straight but do
not stretch it.
8. Prime set (see illustrated steps on reverse side of sheet):
• Make sure patient is not connected to administration set
• Turn pump power ON and press PRIME/PIGGY
• Press START/OK
• Enter priming volume using pump keypad
• Press START/OK to start priming
• Display screen shows priming progress
• Repeat these steps for additional priming

Priming the Administration Set
1. Make sure that patient is not connected to administration set.
2. Turn pump power ON and press
3. Press
4. Use pump keypad to enter volume of fluid required to prime set.
For priming volume, check tubing package.
5. Press to start priming procedure.
Display screen shows priming progress.
6. For additional priming volume, repeat steps 1 – 5.
Note:
• To stop priming at any time, press
• If line must be primed, it can only be primed on pump.
• When pump is locked, patient can prime set in all operating modes.
