INSTRUCTIONS FOR COAST FL44 HEADLAMP:
BATTERY INSTALLATION:
The FL44 uses three AAA alkaline batteries located in the rear of the
headlamp.
To access the battery compartment, hinge the headlamp downward
to reveal the rear of the headlamp body. Once the rear of the head-
lamp is revealed, pull the locking mechanism up to unlock the battery
compartment.
Insert the batteries in the direction indicated inside the headlamp,
close the battery compartment door until it ‘clicks’ shut, and hinge the
headlamp back towards the reflective strap. Never mix old and new
batteries. Remove batteries before storing headlamp for extended
periods of non-use.
WHITE & RED LED LIGHT OPERATION:
To turn on the white light, depress the power switch on the top-right
side of the headlamp while worn to enter “High” mode. Depressing
the same button a second time soon after will switch the headlamp to
“Medium” mode. A third depression of the button soon after will turn
the headlamp into “Low” mode. To shut down the light, depress the
power switch a fourth and final time, or sometime after the previous
depression.
To turn on the red light, depress the power button on the top-left side of
the headlamp while worn to enter “Red” mode. To shut down the light,
depress the same button a second time.
Due to possessing separate buttons, LEDs may be powered individually
or at the same time.
BEAM POSITION ADJUSTMENT:
The hinged adjustment allows you to tilt the headlamp downward to
illuminate close objects. To adjust the tilt position of the headlamp, hold
the body of the headlamp with one hand and tilt the body away from
the back plate (which retains the strap), holding the back plate with a
second hand (if necessary).
HEAD STRAP ADJUSTMENT:
To adjust the FL44 to fit your head, slide the buckles on the side of
the head strap. It may be necessary to reposition the headlamp and
battery pack on the side head strap once the headband is adjusted to
the proper size.
HARD HAT SAFETY HELMET CLIP USE:
The FL44 includes helmet clips for use with hard hat style safety hel-
mets. To use the helmet clips, loosen the side of the headband to fit the
helmet and attach the clips to the strap of the headlamp, evenly spaced
with two on each side.
Note: Clips are designed for use ONLY with HARD HAT style safety hel-
mets. They are not acceptable for use on most sporting safety helmets.
MAINTENANCE:
Wipe the external body with a cloth moistened with water or isopropyl
alcohol. Allow to dry before use. Do not submerge.

池と新しい電池を混ぜて使わないでください。ヘッドラン
プを長期間使用しない場合は、保管する前に電池を取り外
してください。
白色 LED と赤色 LED の操作：
白色 LED をON にするには、ヘッドランプを着用した状態で、
右上側面にある電源スイッチを押します。最初は、「高」
輝度モードなります。間を置かずにスイッチをもう一度押す
（計2度目）と、「中」輝度モードに切り替わります。間を置
かずにスイッチをもう一度押す（計3度目）と、「低」輝度
モードに切り替わります。ライトを消灯するには、スイッ
チをもう一度押す（計4度目）か、または最後に押してから
少し間隔を空けて押します。
赤色 LED をON にするには、ヘッドランプを着用した状態
で、左上側面にある電源スイッチを押します。ライトを消
灯するには、同じボタンをもう一度押します。
各色のボタンは分かれているため、各 LED を個別に、または
同時に点灯させることができます。
ビームの位置調整：
照射角度調整機構により、近くにある物体を照らす際にヘッ
ドランプを下側に傾けることができます。ヘッドランプのチ
ルト位置を調整するには、片手でヘッドランプの本体を押さ
えながら、（ストラップを挟む）バックプレートから離すよ
うにして本体を傾けます。その際に、必要であれば他方の手
でバックプレートを押さえてください。
ヘッドストラップの調整：
頭に合わせて FL44 を調整するには、ヘッドストラップ側面
にあるバックルをスライドさせます。ヘッドバンドを最適
なサイズに調整した後は、サイドヘッドストラップ上でヘッ
ドランプと電池パックの位置を再調整します。
ヘルメット取付用安全クリップの使用：
FL44 には、ハードシェルの保護ヘルメットに取り付けるた
めのヘルメット取付用クリップが同梱されています。ヘル
メットクリップを使用するには、ヘッドバンドの側部を緩
めてヘルメットに巻き付けます。ヘッドランプのストラッ
プに片側2個のクリップを取り付け、間隔が均等になるよう
に調整します。
注：クリップは、ハードシェルの保護ヘルメットで使用する
ことのみを想定しています。大部分のスポーツ用ヘルメット
では、使用に適しません。
メンテナンス：
水またはイソプロピルアルコールで湿らせた布で、本体の外
部を拭いてください。乾くまでは使用を控えてください。
絶対に水に浸けないでください。
