Comfort Wheelchair Cushion is intended for users weighing up to 325 kg.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Using Comfort Wheelchair Cushion for persons weighing more than 325
kg may cause damage to the cushion or the user.
Do not place any further layers or padding between the cushion and the
user as this may reduce the effect of the cushion.
A wet or defective Comfort Wheelchair Cushion can reduce the effect
of preventing of the pressure relief or in worse case cause personal
injury.
Always disinfect the Comfort Wheelchair Cushion before transferring to
a new user. This should be done to avoid cross contamination.
Lack of maintenance can damage the product, shorten the product
service life, or reduce the performance of Comfort Wheelchair Cushion.

Comfort Wheelchair Cushion is a standard
wheelchair cushion for the prevention of pressure
relief for bariatric users.
Comfort Wheelchair Cushion consists of a three
cm viscoelastic foam layer at the top. The base is
made of a Heavy Duty PUR foam with springs that
cut into the under base of the foam.
The string system is patented and ensures that
the pressure is distributed to a larger surface,
which increases the pressure relief.
The included incontinence cover is made of
Dartex material. The incontinence cover is
breathable, antibacterial and fire retardant.
Using Comfort Wheelchair Cushion for persons
weighing more than 325 kg may cause damage to
the cushion or the user.
Comfort Wheelchair Cushion is used in
wheelchairs in hospitals, in nursing homes, and
private homes.
Always consult a therapist before assigning a
Comfort Wheelchair Cushion to a user.
Contraindications
There are no contraindications to the use of the
product.
Before use
Place the Comfort Wheelchair Cushion in a
wheelchair or in a chair so that the zipper faces
downwards. Check that the cover on the Comfort
Wheelchair Cushion is zipped correctly.
Do not place any further layers or padding
between the cushion and the user as this may
reduce the effect of the cushion.
In use

sure that the cushion and cover are facing
correctly and that the cushion is not wet or

Comfort Wheelchair Cushion should be stored
dark at temperatures between -10° - 50° C.
Products that can no longer be used are to be
disposed of in a sustainable way.
Contact Cobi Rehab or relevant authorities for
information on proper disposal.
6. Long-term storage
Comfort Wheelchair Cushion cannot be washed in
a washing machine.
The incontinence cover can be cleaned with water
and a regular detergent. The cover can also be
machine washed at 95 ° C and tumble dried.
Disinfection
Comfort Wheelchair Cushion can also be
disinfected with e.g., Wet Wipe 70% or a chlorine
product 1000-1200 ppm (e.g., Wet Wipe Chlorine
Desinfection).
Always remember to disinfect Comfort
Wheelchair Cushion when transferred to a new
user. This is done to avoid cross-contamination
and infections.
Local cleaning and disinfection procedures must
always be followed.

Cobi Rehab warrants that the Comfort Wheelchair
Cushion is without defects on delivery. If, against
all expectations, the wheelchair is subject to
deficiencies or defects on receipt, please contact
Cobi Rehab immediately.
The warranty period for the Comfort Wheelchair
Cushion is one year from the date of purchase
and covers manufacturing defects or defect on
receipt. The invoice is your certificate of warranty.
The warranty does not apply to:
- products on which the serial number, batch
number or the like have been removed or
significantly damaged.
- products which have been repaired by
unauthorised personnel.
The warranty does not cover:
- wearing parts.
This warranty does not apply when Cobi Rehab
assesses that the Comfort Wheelchair Cushion has
been improperly operated.
For damage caused by improper operation, an
invoice will be issued for both the service and the
spare parts used.
Lack of maintenance can damage the product,
shorten the life, or affect the performance of the
Comfort Wheelchair Cushion.
Report any incidents relating to the use of
Comfort Wheelchair Cushion to Cobi Rehab.
9.1 Unintended event
After the expected service life, it is important that
an overall assessment of the product is made
before continued use.
After the expected service life, Cobi Rehab
cannot guarantee the suitability and safety of the
product, as Cobi Rehab has no control over how
the product is used and wear and tear.
The overall assessment of the product must be
carried out by qualified professionals, and as a
minimum, consideration must be given to how the
product has been used, the condition of the
product and its components.
Cobi Rehab can always make such an assessment.
