Getting Started
Powering your speakerphone
Charging
Please charge the battery fully (approx.  hrs) before using
your CVM Speakerphone. To charge your speaker-
phone, plug one end of the supplied cord into the phone’s
USB socket and the other end into a power source.
The LED charge indicator will be delayed for a
few minutes if the speakerphone has not been
used for a long time or if the battery is completely
drained.
The red ashing LED indicates that your speak-
erphone battery is low. When this occurs, please
charge your speakerphone as soon as possible.
Continuing to use the speakerphone when the
battery is low may shorten the life of the battery
and damage the phone’s ability to fully charge.
When plugged into the charger, the speaker-
phone’s red LED indicator will light to indicate
charging in progress. This indicator will turn o
when the phone is fully charged.
Power On/O
Power On:
Press and hold the MFB key for  seconds until you
hear a short beep. The blue LED will ash  times
and the phone will power on. If you have already
paired your speakerphone with a compatible cellular
phone, it will reconnect to that phone automatically.
Otherwise, see instructions for pairing below.

Getting Started
Power O:
When in standby mode, press and hold the MFB key
for  seconds until you hear a short beep. The red LED
will ash  times, and the speakerphone will turn o.
Pairing your speakerphone
Standard Pairing
Prior to using the speakerphone for the rst time, you
must pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone. The
steps below describe pairing instructions for a typical
Bluetooth-enabled cellular phone. If these instructions
do not work, please refer to the documentation provided
with your phone.
Place the speakerphone and phone no more than 11.
meter apart.
Ensure the speakerphone is turned OFF.2.
Press and hold the “MFB” button for 6 seconds until3.

phone and search for an accessible Bluetooth device.

guide.
Select “BT-PIHF13M” from the list.5.
Enter the pre-programmed code “0000” and press6.
“OK” to pair the speakerphone and the phone. When
pairing is completed, the blue/red indicator ash will
be replaced by a blue ash every 3 seconds (indicat-
ing standby mode).

Exit your phone’s Bluetooth menu and place your7.
mobile phone and speakerphone no more than 10
meters apart. You should now be able to make and
receive calls using your speakerphone.
If the pairing cannot be completed within 2 min-
utes after the pairing mode is activated, the
speakerphone will power o automatically. If this
occurs, please repeat the pairing steps above.
After pairing is completed, your speakerphone will enter
standby mode. The pairing connection must be active for
you to make or receive calls, as indicated by the headset
icon on your cellular phone display. If the headset icon
does not appear, please follow the steps below to activate
the connection.
On your phone:Select “BT-PIHFM” from the paired
list on your phone screen.
On the speakerphone:Press MFB and select
“Accept” on phone screen to accept connection.
Deactivating a connection
When you need to connect your speakerphone with
another Bluetooth-enabled phone, please follow the steps
below to rst disconnect the previous pairing.
Power o the speakerphone.1.
Select “Disconnecting” on the Bluetooth device2.
list of your mobile phone to disable/remove the
connection.

After deactivating the connection, the speaker-
phone will wait 10 minutes and then power o.
The blue LED will ash twice at 3-second intervals
to indicate that there is no active connection be-
tween the speakerphone and another device.
Multipoint connections
The Multipoint feature allows you to connect up to 
mobile phones to the speakerphone at the same time.
Activating the Multipoint Feature
The default setting of speakerphone’s multipoint function
is o. To use the multipoint function, you must activate it
manually.
In standby mode, press and hold VOL+ for  seconds
until you hear a beep. The multipoint function is now
active.
To deactivate the multipoint function, press and
hold VOL- for  seconds until you hear a beep. The
speakerphone will turn o the multipoint function
and power o automatically. When you turn on the
speakerphone again, it will connect automatically to
the most recently paired Bluetooth device.
When themultipointfunctionisenabled,the speak-
erphone will automatically connect to the last 2
cellular phones with which it has been paired.

Multipoint Pairing
Pair the rst cellular phone using the instructions1.
provided in the “Pairing your Speakerphone” section
above.
Press and hold MFB for 4 seconds to power o the2.
speakerphone.
Press and hold MFB for 6 seconds to re-enter pairing3.
mode, then perform the pairing process again with
the second cellular phone.
When the speakerphone is powered on, it will con-4.
nect automatically to the two most recently paired
mobile phones.
Using the Secondary Cellular Phone
When using the multipoint function, the rst connected
phone is considered the primary device. Use the “MFB” key
as instructed in the Call Functions section to use the voice-
activated dialing and last number redial functions.
The second connected phone is considered the secondary
device. Use the VOL+ key as follows to activate voice dial-
ing and redialing functions on the second mobile phone.
Voice Dial:Press the “V+” button once to activate the
secondary phone’s voice dialing function.
Re-Dialing:Press the “V+” button twice to redial the
last outgoing number.
