Quick Guide for CP900 Series users
Features of your Mini Microphone 2 / Mini Microphone 2+
Hear better over a distance and in noisy listening
situations, such as:
How to:
in meetings
when travelling by car, bus or train
dining at a restaurant
participating in a class at the gym
Give the Mini Microphone to the person you want to listen to and ask
them to position it close to their mouth by placing it vertically on
their clothing using the clip on the back. Then activate streaming on
your CP900 Series Sound Processor (see instructions below).
Place your Mini Microphone 2+ on a table to listen to multiple speakers
in a group / conference setting.

Charging the battery
When using for the first time, allow your Mini Microphone to charge
for at least 3 hours, even if the light indicates a full charge.
To charge your Mini Microphone:
1. Plug the Micro-USB charging cable into the Mini Microphone.
2. Plug the other end into a power outlet using the supplied adaptor.
While charging, the LED indicator lights red.
When fully charged (and still connected to the charger), the LED will
turn solid red with green flashes every 2 seconds.
If battery level is low the Status indicator LED will blink yellow once
every second.
On average, the Mini Microphone will operate for up to 10 hours
between charges. Battery life may vary depending on use.

Pairing with your CP900 Series Sound Processor
A
You can pair up to three Cochlear wireless accessories with your
sound processor(s).
To pair a Mini Microphone in channel 2 press the pairing button
twice in step C. The LED will flash yellow twice every 2 seconds.
To pair a Mini Microphone in channel 3 press the pairing button 3
times in step C. The LED will flash yellow 3 times every 2 seconds.

BPower on your Mini Microphone
Press the pairing button on the (A) Mini Microphone 2 or (B) Mini
Microphone 2+ once using the tip of a pen or similar object.
CDThe LED on top of the Mini Microphone will blink yellow once
every 2 seconds for 20 seconds. While pairing mode is active
(20 seconds), switch on your sound processor.
Press the lower button.
A blue indicator light may flash
to show that pairing has been
successful depending on “Light
Indications” settings.

Using your Mini Microphone
Start streaming using your sound processor
From the Home screen, press the right arrow
button until you see the Stream screen.
Scroll down the list to the channel
you want to use and press OK.
When your audio device is turned on,
audio will start streaming through
the Mini Microphone.
To stop streaming, select Off on the
Stream selection screen.
Start streaming using your CR230 Remote Assistant
Press and hold the Telecoil button
for 2 seconds, then release.
Tip! Repeat this step a second time
to select Channel 2, and again for
Channel 3.
Audio will start streaming
through the Mini Microphone.
To stop streaming, tap the
Telecoil button.
Press and hold the Telecoil button
for 2 seconds, then release.
Audio will start streaming through
the Mini Microphone.
ATurn on your sound processor and Mini Microphone.
Method 1: Turn on your sound processor and Mini Microphone.
Turn on your CR230 Remote Assistant.
BTo select another channel or stop streaming.
Method 2: Turn on your sound processor and Mini Microphone.
Turn on your CR230 Remote Assistant.
Start streaming using your CR210 Remote Control
Repeat Step A, a second time
to select Channel 2, and again
for Channel 3.
To stop streaming, tap the
Telecoil button.
ATurn on your sound processor and Mini Microphone. Turn on your
CR210 Remote Control. BTo select another channel or stop streaming.
OR
Repeat Step A a second time to
select Channel 2, and again for
Channel 3.
To stop streaming, tap the upper
button on your sound processor.
Press and hold the upper button on
your sound processor for 2 seconds,
then release.
The sound processor flashes a blue light
to indicate audio is streaming.
