Understanding the Passcode
The passcode consists of 8 numbers that are entered with # at the end, to unlock the door or
program the lock (i.e. 00123456#). It consists of a 2 digit prefix from 10-59 and a 6 digit code
which can be any combination of numbers you choose. A type of passcode is the mastercode,
which is used to initiate programming for the lock. When entered on its own, it can also unlock
the door. The default mastercode is 00123456, however you can change this to your own
numbers. Keep in mind that only the mastercode has the prefix 00 and no other passcode can
use the prefix 00.
How to Change the Mastercode (Optional but recommended)
1. Enter *5#00#123456#[your 6 digit code]# --->you will hear a long beep which signals the
change was successful.
2. Now you can try your new mastercode, by entering 00[your 6 digit code]#
EXAMPLE: To change the default mastercode, 00123456 to 00121212, you would enter
*5#00#123456#121212# ---> Now the mastercode 00123456 has been changed to 00121212.
How to Add a Passcode
You can program up to 50 passcodes on this lock.
To add a passcode, first choose a prefix from 10-59. The prefix cannot be shortened or omitted.
Next, you will add a 6 digit code to complete the passcode. There are no restrictions to what this
6 digit code can be.
1. Enter your mastercode# ---> wait for an ascending beep
2. Enter *1#1#[your passcode]# ---> wait for an ascending beep
3. Your passcode has now been added. Try it out by entering [your passcode]#.
Example: Let’s say, we want to add the passcode 12112233, you would enter:
1. 00123456# (default mastercode)
How to Reset the Lock to Factory Settings
Note: Once you reset the lock to factory settings, all previously programmed passcodes, key fobs,
and remote(s) will no longer work. You will need to reprogram all methods.
1. Open the back cover of the battery and you will see a black button located towards the base of
the battery case. This is the reset button.
2. Press and hold for 3 seconds until you hear two beeps. At this time, the number pad will light up
in red. Once the lights turn off, the lock will be back to factory settings.
3. Now you should be able to use 00123456# to unlock the door as well as program your codes, key
fobs, and remote.
