There are several models of the series of this showcase refrigerator, such as follow:

This appliance adopts the high quality compressor of a famous brand, a buried or swell-tubular evaporator, and
a steel-wired condenser. The appliance has a rapid refrigeration speed; consumes less electrical power; has a
refined appearance; is easy to use and with a high performance. The door is a hollow glass door. There is a pilot
lamp in the cabinet. The appliance is suitable for drinks and fruit storage.
These instructions for use are intended for the user. They describe the appliance and correct operating
procedures for safe use. Read and follow all safety rules and operating instructions before first use of this product.

Installation and safety rules
It might cause vibration or noise due to unstable location. Please place the refrigerator on an even and
hard floor.
Place the refrigerator in a dry, regularly ventilated room, in order to increase refrigerator efficiency and
reduce energy consumption. Therefore, ample space should be kept around the refrigerator. The rear
wall of the appliance should be at least 100mm from the wall. The two sides should be at least 200mm
away from the wall. The tabletop should be at least 300mm away from the ceiling.
The refrigerator should be away from hot sources and direct sunshine.
The appliance should be placed on a solid base and away from heavy moisture. If the appliance is located
in a wet place, it might affect electricity insulation and become rusty. If electrical parts are splashed
with water, it might cause electricity leakage or breakdown.
Power supply:
The appliance is fit for the single-phase alternating power supply with the voltage of 187V～242V, and
the frequency of (50±1)HZ.
Plug:
It is better to use an individual socket. It is dangerous to use multiple sockets. The plug must be plugged
into an appropriately grounded wall socket.
Avoid water splashing. If electrical parts are splashed with water, it might cause electricity leakage or
breakdown.
Be sure not to put flammable objects into the refrigerator. Such as gasoline, propane, adhesive, and so
on.
Never turn it over when you want to move the refrigerator. The obliquity of the refrigerator should be
over 45°.
First operation
The temperature is nearly the same as the ambient temperature when the appliance operates for the
first time. Generally, it takes 2 hours to enable the temperature inside to reach minus one, which can
stop the motor running automatically.
After working for 2 hours with reference to the following instructions, adjust the temperature control
to a suitable position and close the door, so the appliance can work normally. (Thermostat controls
compressor to stop and start automatically.) Now, you can store food in it.
(NOTE: This table is for the reference of adjusting the temperature of the refrigerator when it is operated
for the first time only.)

Temperature control
The temperature control is fixed on the veneer or on the tabletop of the refrigerator. As shown in figure.
For LG4-336, LG4-600 and LG4-800, when the control knob is in “OFF” position the compressor does
not operate.
For LG4-336, LG4-600 and LG4-800, the temperature control is adjusted from “1” to “6”, the
temperature in the cabinet is from high to low. That is to say, when turning to “1”, temperature is not
too low; while turning to “4” or “6”, the temperature is the lowest.
If quick-freeze is required,” set the control knob to “5” ～“6” (LG4-336, LG4-600 and LG4-800). It should
be turned back to other position. This is just for emergency use. Therefore, don’t use it frequently. Its
continuous working time cannot be too long, or the temperature in the cabinet might be so low that
the bottles in the cabinet may be easily broken.
Defrost
After the refrigerator has been running for some time, frost will form on the surface of the evaporator. The thicker
the frost is, the hotter resistance. The hot resistance will reduce the effect of the refrigerant. Please defrost,
when the frost is thicker than 5mm.
Please set the control knob to “OFF” or disconnect the power supply before defrosting the refrigerator.
Open the door, and take out the food. Tap the frost gently. Wait until the defrost water is drained. Please
clean with soft cloth dipped in warm water or neutral soap liquid. Be sure to wipe with pure water after
using neutral soap liquid.
Never attempt to scrape/remove ice/frost with sharp objects (such as knives, shovels, etc.). Or the
evaporator will break down.
After defrosting, connect the refrigerator to the power supply.
Troubleshooting guide
Sometimes you may come across minor problems that in most cases do not require a service call and can be
easily eliminated. The problem may have resulted from improper handling and/or installation of the appliance.
Please refer to the troubleshooting guide below to assist you in identifying the problem. If it still persists after
completing these checks, contact the closest authorize service agent in your area for assistance.

Dit apparaat incorporeert de beroemde compressor van hoge kwaliteit, ingewerkte of open buisvormige
condensator en staaldraad condensator in zijn ontwerp. Het apparaat heeft een hoge koelsnelheid, verbruikt
minder elektriciteit en heeft een gedistingeerd design. Het is gemakkelijk in gebruik en heeft een uitstekende
prestatie. De deur werd voorzien van een dubbelglazig inzetstuk. Er is een waaklamp aanwezig in de ruimte. Het
apparaat is geschikt voor de opslag van drank en fruit.
Onderstaande instructies werden uitgeschreven voor de gebruiker. Ze beschrijven het apparaat en correcte

Installatie en veiligheidsvoorschriften
●Een onstabiele plaatsing kan trillingen en lawaai als gevolg hebben. Zorg dat de koelkast op een stabiele
en vlakke ondergrond staat.
●Plaats de koelkast in een droge, goed verluchte ruimte om zijn prestaties te optimaliseren en
energiekosten te minimaliseren. Voldoende ruimte moet worden gevrijwaard rond het apparaat. De
achterzijde dient minstens 100 mm verwijderd te zijn van de muur, de zijkanten minstens 200 mm. De
bovenkant moet minstens 300 mm verwijderd zijn van het plafond;
●De koelkast moet uit de buurt van een hittebron worden geplaatst en niet in direct zonlicht.
●Het apparaat dient te worden geïnstalleerd op een stevige ondergrond en weg van vocht om roest te
voorkomen. Als elektrische onderdelen in contact komen met water kunnen elektrische schokken
ontstaan, kortsluiting of zelfs onherstelbare schade.
●Stroomtoevoer:
Het apparaat werd uitgerust voor eenfasige wisselsstroom met een voltage van 187-242V en een
frequentie van (50±1)HZ.
●Stekker:
Voor optimaal gebruik, wordt een enkelvoudig stopcontact gebruik. Meerdere stopcontacten gebruiken
is gevaarlijk, daar de aarding kan falen. De stekker moet in worden geplugd op een degelijk geaard
muurstopcontact.
●Vermijd water in de buurt van de elektrische onderdelen om schokken, kortsluiting en schade te
vermijden.
●Bewaar geen licht-ontvlambare stoffen in de koelkast, zoals benzine, propaangas, …
●Houd koelkast altijd rechtop als hem verplaatst. Nooit onder een hoek groter dan 45°.
Ingebruikstelling
●Het duurt ongeveer 2 uur om van kamertemperatuur af te koelen naar gebruikstemperatuur, wanneer
de motor zich automatisch uitschakelt.
●Na die twee uur kan met de instellingen aanpassen naar het gewenste niveau volgens onderstaande
tabel. Sluit de deur na het aanpassen weer. Uw koelkast is nu klaar voor gebruik.
(OPGELET: Deze tabel is enkel een referentie voor de temperatuur bij de ingebruiksstelling.)

Temperatuurregelaar
De temperatuurregelaar werd bevestigd in de bekleding of de bovenkant van uw koelkast, al naargelang het
model, zoals onderstaand model.
●Voor LG4-336, LG4-600 and LG4-800, als de regelaar op “OFF” staat, werkt de compressor niet.
●For LG4-336, LG4-600 and LG4-800, kan de temperatuurregelaar worden aangepast van 1 tot 6, waarbij
1 de laagste setting is, en 6 de hoogste. Voor koudere temperaturen, draait u dus door naar een hoger
cijfer.
●Als een snelle koeling vereist is kan de regelaar op 5-6 gezet worden. Dit is echter een noodoplossing en
moet zodra de gewenste temperatuur bereikt is weer naar de normale stand gezet worden. Bij te
frequent gebruik, kan de temperatuur in de koelkast zo laag worden dat verpakkingen fragiel worden.
Ontvriezen
Na enige tijd gebruikt te hebben, zal er zich een laagje ijs vormen op de oppervlakte van de verdamper. Hoe
dikker die laag, hoe meer hitteresistentie, wat de effectiviteit van uw koelkast aantast. Als het ijs dikker is dan
5mm, dient u de koelkast te ontvriezen.
●Draai de temperatuurregelaar tot “OFF” of trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
●Open de deur en verwijder alle overgebleven voedsel. Tik zachtjes op het ijs. Wacht tot al het ontdooide
water is weggestroomd. Maak schoon met een zachte doek en warm water en een neutrale detergent.
Zorg ervoor dat u naspoelt met proper water indien u zeep gebruikt heeft.
●Gebruik nooit scherpe objecten om ijs te verwijderen. U kan uw koelkast beschadigen.
●Na het ontvriezen, sluit de koelkast weer aan, en zet de knop weer op de gewenste stand, zoals
beschreven bij de ingebruikstelling.
Probleemoplossing
Af en toe kan u kleine problemen ondervinden waar geen technicus voor nodig is. Het probleem kan ontstaan
door incorrect gebruik of installatie van het apparaat. Raadpleeg onderstaande tabel voor vaak voorkomende
problemen. Indien het probleem zich toch blijft voordoen na deze controles, richt u tot uw dichtstbijzijnde
erkende technicus voor hulp.
