WARNING: It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between the outlet and the
plug may cause overheating of the plug. If this occurs, try inserting the plug into a different outlet. Contact a qualified
electrician to inspect the original outlet for damage.
SAFETY FEATURES
Overheat Safety Feature
This appliance comes equipped with an overheat protection safety
device. Should the appliance begin to overheat for any reason, it will
automatically turn all heater functions of the appliance off. The
appliance will have to be reset prior to continuing use. To reset the
overheat protection safety device, turn all controls off and unplug
the appliance. Wait 10 minutes, plug the appliance back in and turn
on.

precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and injury to persons, including
the following:
1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles
when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and
curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the heater.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children, pets or invalids and whenever the
heater is left operating unattended.
4. If possible always unplug this appliance when not in use.
5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or
damaged in any manner.
6. Any repairs to this appliance should be carried out by a qualified service person.
7. Under no circumstances should this appliance be modified. Parts having to be removed for servicing must be
replaced prior to operating this appliance again.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Use your heater only in dry environments. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and
similar indoor locations. Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. Do not
use your heater outdoors. Do not use near sinks, swimming pools or other damp areas such as flooded basements,
garages, etc or anyplace where the heater could come in contact with water.
10. Do not use this heater in elevated locations, such as on shelves, raised platforms, etc.
11. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange
cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
12. To disconnect heater, first turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet. Always unplug the heater when
not in use.
13. Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
14. This appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes, with the current
CSA C22.0 Canadian Electrical codes or for USA installations, follow local codes and the National Electric code
ANSI/NFPA No. 70.
15. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an
electrical shock or fire, or damage the heater.
16. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a
bed, where openings may become blocked.
17. This appliance has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint or
flammable liquids are used or stored. This appliance should not be used as a drying rack for clothing, nor should
Christmas stockings or decorations be hung or near it.
18. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
19. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable
power strip.
20. Do not use this heater with missing, damaged, or broken legs.

ZONE HEATING SAVES!
The concept of Zone Heating is simple. Use High Efficiency heaters to heat the rooms you use most, during the
times you use these areas and turn back the thermostat to your central heating system. To achieve the
maximum benefit it is important to understand your heater and where best to locate it.
Please follow these suggestions:
1. Close doors to areas you do not wish to heat.
2. Locate an outlet along an interior wall if possible. Position the heater so that the warm air can blow
unobstructed across the room towards the exterior walls.
3. Check your windows and doors for the infiltration of cold air and insulate as needed to avoid heat loss.
Rapid heat loss will minimize the effectiveness of your heater as it would any conventional type heater.
4. Keep the area around the heater free of obstructions to insure maximum airflow. Keep electrical
cords, drapery, furniture, and other combustibles 3 feet (0.9 M) away from the front of the heater
and away from the sides.
5. Avoid locating your heater in high traffic areas or in direct sunlight.
6. Avoid locating your heater near your central heating thermostat.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR POWER
WARNING: Before servicing this heater be sure to unplug heater from wall outlet. Do
not only turn off heater from the main “ON/OFF” switch, be sure to unplug this heater.
Note: The power cord has a polarized plug (with one blade wider than the other) that will only fit in a
polarized outlet one way. If it does not insert easily try reversing the plug. If it still does not fit contact your
electrician to replace your outlet. DO NOT defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
A 15 AMP, 120 Volt, 60Hz circuit with a
properly grounded outlet is required.
Preferably, the heater will be on a dedicated
circuit. Other appliances on the same circuit
may cause the circuit breaker to trip or the
fuse to blow when the heater is in operation.
The unit comes standard with a 6' cord.

CONTROL PANEL
1. Digital display: Indicates set room temperature or timer value according to the timer or High and low
heating mode display. The power is in standby mode and the display is “OFF”.

REMOTE CONTROL
PREPARATION
Place the heater on a firm, level surface and
plug into a 120V 60Hz power outlet.
Turn on the power switch in the rear of the unit.
Only operate heater in upright position with
caster wheels attached.
Insert 2 AAA batteries into the remote control
before using (Batteries Not Included)

1. Start and select working mode
Turn the heater on by pressing the ON/OFF button on the control
panel or by pressing the Power button on the supplied remote
control.
When powering unit off, the heating element will stop working
first, the fan will continue working for 3min to allow heat to
dissipate from heater.
Select a heat setting.
Press the HEATER button to toggle between the three heat settings.
Press once for High Heat 1500W
Press again for low heat 1000W
Press again to turn off heat
2. Setting room temperature
Adjust the thermostat by pressing the arrows on the control panel
or button on remote control.
Set temperature indication varies from 59℉to 95℉. Once you
have chosen the desired temperature, the heater will remain on
until the room temperature reaches the temperature on the digital
display. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the desired
room temperature.
3. Setting flame
Adjust the flame brightness by pressing the flame image on the
control panel or button on remote control.

4. Setting timer-power- off
Caution! ONLY with power-on can you set timer-power-off function.
When starting the unit, press the timer button on the control
panel.
Adjust the time by pressing the arrows on the control panel or up
down buttons on remote control.
Digital display will change from set temperature to time value for
the timer. Press the UP or DOWN button more than once, the value
will vary from 0 to 12hr (1 hr interval) in circulation.
5. Setting timer-power-on
Caution! ONLY with power-off can you set timer-power-on function.
WIth power turned off, press the timer button on the control panel.
Adjust the time by pressing the arrows on the control panel or
remote control.
Digital display indicates time value for the timer. Press the timer
button more than once, the value will vary from 0 to 12hr (1 hr
interval) in circulation.
6. Setting electro lock
Electro lock can avoid incorrect operation from children. Locking can be set in both power-on and power-
off modes.
Press Temp Up and Temp Down arrows on control panel together
for 3 seconds. When you hear a singel beep the control panel and
remote will be locked.
To Unlock, press and hold Temp Up and Temp Down arrows on
control panel together for 3 seconds. When upib hear a single beep
control panel and remote control are unlocked.

MAINTENANCE
1. Glass Information
* Under no circumstances should this product be operated with missing or broken glass.
* Do not strike or slam the glass.
* Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean the glass.
2. Cleaning
*To clean the unit, first turn off controls on unit and unplug unit from power source.
*To clean the glass door: remove dust with clean dry cloth or to remove finger prints and other marks clean glass with
clean damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or spray liquids on glass door surfaces.
*Metal and metal painted parts should be cleaned with clean damp cloth only. Do not use abrasive cleaners or spray
liquids on this surface.
3. If you do not use the heater for a long time, please take out the remote batteries (to prevent corrosion) as shown
below. Store the remote in a safe place.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
If the heater will not operate, please check the following before seeking repair of service:
1. Check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet, if not, plug in.
2. Check if electricity to the outlet is working.
3. Check the power switch is open
STORAGE
Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use. To prevent dust and dirt build-up, use the original
packaging to repack the unit.

A limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser of this heater and warrants against malfunction due
to manufacturing defects for a period of (1) one year from the date of retail purchase. Please read and follow
all details noted below.

to verify purchase date and establish warranty period. Original carton should be kept in case of warranty
return of unit.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
1. Damage caused by misuse or use contrary to the owner’s manual and safety guidelines.
2. Damage caused by a lack of normal maintenance.
3. Repair by an unauthorized person.
4. Damage caused by connection to an improper voltage.
5. Damaged caused by use outdoors.

Este aparato viene equipado con un dispositivo de

Calefacción de Zona
El concepto de la Calefacción de Zona es sencillo. Utilice calentadoras Altas de Eficiencia para calentar los
cuartos que usted utiliza más, durante los tiempos usted utiliza estas áreas y se vuelve el termostato a su
sistema de la calefacción central. Para lograr el beneficio máximo que es importante comprender su
calentadora y donde vence situarlo.
Siga por favor estas sugerencias:
1. Las puertas cercanas a áreas usted no desea calentar.
2. Sitúe una tres salida de punta por una pared interior si es posible. Posicione la calentadora para que el
aire tibio pueda soplar libre a través del cuarto hacia las paredes exteriores.
3. Verifique sus ventanas y las puertas para la infiltración de aire frío y aísle como necesitó para evitar
pérdida de calor. La pérdida rápida del calor minimizará la eficacia de su calentadora Infrarroja como
hace calentadora convencional de tipo.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA PODER

encaja contacto con un electricista para que reemplace el tomacorriente. No anule el propósito de seguridad
del enchufe polarizado.
CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA
15 Amperios, 120 voltios, 60Hz circuito con un
tomacorriente es necesaria. Preferentemente, el
calefactor estará en un circuito dedicado. Otros
aparatos en el mismo circuito pueden causar el
disyuntor de viaje o el fusible cuando el calentador

PANEL DE CONTROL
1. Pantalla digital: Indica el valor de la temperatura fijada para la habitación o del temporizador, o muestra el
modo de calefacción alta y baja. El interruptor está está en modo de espera y la pantalla está en "OFF".
2. Luz indicadora de alta:
3. Botón de encendido Enciende y apaga la pantalla.
4. Botón de llama: Ajusta el brillo de la llama.
5. Ventana de recepción de señal: Para recibir la señal del control remoto.
6. Botón abajo: Para ajustar hacia abajo la temperatura o el tiempo.
7. Botón arriba: Para ajustar hacia arriba la temperatura o el tiempo.
8. Luz indicadora baja:
9. Botón de temporizador: Para ajustar el temporizador hacia arriba o hacia abajo.
10. Botón de calefacción: Configurar el modo de la calefacción y/o apagar el calor.

CONTROL REMOTO
Preparación
Coloque el calentador sobre una superficie firme
y nivelada y enchufe a una toma de 120V y 60 Hz.
Encienda el interruptor de encendido en la parte
trasera de la unidad. Utilice el calentador únicamente
en posición vertical con las ruedas puestas.
Inserte 2 pilas AAA en el control remoto antes de
usarlo (pilas no incluidas)

1. Inicie y seleccione modo de funcionamiento
Encienda el calentador oprimiendo el botón ON/OFF del panel de
control o pulsando el botón de encendido en el control remoto
suministrado.
Cuando apague la unidad, el elemento calentador dejará de
funcionar primero, el ventilador continuará trabajando por 3 min
para permitir disipar el calor del calentador.
Seleccione un grado de calor.
Presione el botón HEATER para alternar entre los tres grados.
Presione una vez para alto grado, 1500W
Presione nuevamente para bajo grado, 1000W
Presione una vez más para apagar el calentador
2. Fijar la temperatura de la habitación
Ajuste el termostato pulsando las flechas del panel de control o el
botón en el control remoto.
El indicador de temperatura configurada varía de 59℉a 95℉. Una
vez que haya seleccionado la temperatura deseada, el calentador
permanecerá encendido hasta que la temperatura ambiente
alcance la temperatura de la pantalla digital. El calentador se
encenderá y se apagará para mantener la temperatura ambiente
deseada.
3. Ajuste de la llama
Ajuste el brillo de la llama pulsando la imagen de la llama en el
panel de control o el botón en el control remoto.
