SAFETY FEATURES
Overheat Safety Feature
This appliance comes equipped with an overheat protection safety device. Should the appliance begin to overheat for
any reason, it will automatically turn all heater functions of the appliance off. The appliance will have to be reset prior
to continuing use. To reset the overheat protection safety device, turn all controls off and unplug the appliance. Wait
10 minutes, plug the appliance back in and turn on.
The flame effect is created by a
17V-01 LED lamp. If the flame
effect does not work , the bulbs
may have come loose or been
damaged during shipping.

precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and injury to persons, including

1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles
when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and
curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the heater.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children, pets or invalids and whenever the
heater is left operating unattended.
4. If possible always unplug this appliance when not in use.
5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or
damaged in any manner.
6. Any repairs to this appliance should be carried out by a qualified service person.
7. Under no circumstances should this appliance be modified. Parts having to be removed for servicing must be
replaced prior to operating this appliance again.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Use your heater only in dry environments. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and
similar indoor locations. Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. Do not
use your heater outdoors. Do not use near sinks, swimming pools or other damp areas such as flooded basements,
garages, etc or anyplace where the heater could come in contact with water.
10. Do not use this heater in elevated locations, such as on shelves, raised platforms, etc.
11. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange
cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
12. To disconnect heater, first turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet. Always unplug the heater when
not in use.
13. Connect to a properly grounded outlets only.
14. This appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes, with the current
CSA C22.0 Canadian Electrical codes or for USA installations, follow local codes or for USA installations, follow local
codes and the National Electric code ANSI/NFPA No. 70.
15. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an
electrical shock or fire, or damage the heater.
16. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a
bed, where openings may become blocked.
17. This appliance has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint or
flammable liquids are used or stored. This appliance should not be used as a drying rack for clothing, nor should
Christmas stockings or decorations be hung on, or near it.
18. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
19. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable
power strip.
20. Do not use this heater with missing, damaged, or broken legs.

ZONE HEATING SAVES!
The concept of Zone Heating is simple. Use High Efficiency heaters to heat the rooms you use most, during the
times you use these areas and turn back the thermostat to your central heating system. To achieve the
maximum benefit it is important to understand your heater and where best to locate it.
Please follow these suggestions:
1. Close doors to areas you do not wish to heat.
2. Locate a outlet along an interior wall if possible. Position the heater so that the warm air can blow
unobstructed across the room towards the exterior walls.
3. Check your windows and doors for the infiltration of cold air and insulate as needed to avoid heat loss.
Rapid heat loss will minimize the effectiveness of your heater as it would any conventional type heater.
4. Keep the area around the heater free of obstructions to insure maximum airflow. Keep electrical
cords, drapery, furniture, and other combustibles 3 feet (0.9 M) away from the front of the heater
and away from the sides.
5. Avoid locating your heater in high traffic areas or in direct sunlight.
6. Avoid locating your heater near your central heating thermostat.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR POWER
WARNING: Before servicing this heater be sure to unplug heater from wall outlet. Do
not only turn off heater from the main “ON/OFF” switch, be sure to unplug this heater.
This heater is for use on 120 volts only. The cord has a plug as shown in the following figure.
WARNING: This heater has a voltage rating of
120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown in A. An
adapter as shown in C is available for connecting
three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot
receptacles. The grounding lug extending from the
adapter must be connected to a permanent
ground such as a properly grounded outlet box.
The adapter should not be used if a three-slot
grounded receptacle is available.
DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE
GROUNDED PLUG.

ASSEMBLY
ALWAYS make sure the unit is unplugged before beginning assembly! NEVER move or clean the heater, or
change the bulbs, while it is plugged in.
ALWAYS attach the feet before using! NEVER plug in or operate this unit if the feet are not attached.
Lay stove (A) upside down on a padded surface with the underside accessible. Attach leg (B) to stove by
inserting the tab on the top of the leg (B) into the corresponding slot on the bottom of the stove (A). Insert
two screws (C) into predrilled holes and tighten securely. Repeat with remaining three legs.
OPERATING YOUR HEATER
Once the unit has been properly connected to a grounded electrical outlet, it is ready to operate.
Note: Ensure the circuit breakers for the power supply are turned on.
To access the control panel, slowly open the door located on the front of the heater.

ON: Press the power switch ON. The power indicator light will glow, and the flame
effect will
turn on.
OFF: Press the power switch OFF. All functions will turn off.
THERMOSTAT: This knob controls the thermostat that turns the heat on and off to maintain the
desired temperature. Turn the knob to the desired setting. The heat will turn on and off
automatically to
maintain the set temperature.
(NOTE: If the room temperature is higher than the thermostat setting, the heater will not
turn on.)
FLAME INTENSITY : This knob controls the brightness of the flame effect. Turn the knob to the
right (High) to brighten the flame effect Turn the knob to the left (Low) to dim the flame effect.
(NOTE: The ON/OFF switch turns the flame effect on and off. The flame effect will not turn off
unless the power is turned off.)
SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
REPLACING LIGHT BULBS
Access the LED lamp through the rear access panel ( see illustration below).
A. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
B. If the stove has been operating, let the stove cool at least 1 hour.
C. Loosen the screws holding the stove back panel to the main body of stove (see Fig.1).
D. Remove LED lamps and replace with 17V-01 (see Fig.2)
E. Place rear access panel back into position and tighten screws. (Do not over tighten).
WARNING: Disconnect power and allow unit to cool completely before attempting any
maintenance or cleaning to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or personal injury.

A limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser of this heater and warrants against malfunction due
to manufacturing defects for a period of (1) one year from the date of retail purchase. Please read and follow

FUNCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

Calefacción de Zona
El concepto de la Calefacción de Zona es sencillo. Utilice calentadoras Altas de Eficiencia para calentar los
cuartos que usted utiliza más, durante los tiempos usted utiliza estas áreas y se vuelve el termostato a su
sistema de la calefacción central. Para lograr el beneficio máximo que es importante comprender su
calentadora y donde vence situarlo.
Siga por favor estas sugerencias:
1. Las puertas cercanas a áreas usted no desea calentar.
2. Sitúe una tres salida de punta por una pared interior si es posible. Posicione la calentadora para que el
aire tibio pueda soplar libre a través del cuarto hacia las paredes exteriores.
3. Verifique sus ventanas y las puertas para la infiltración de aire frío y aísle como necesitó para evitar
pérdida de calor. La pérdida rápida del calor minimizará la eficacia de su calentadora Infrarroja como
hace calentadora convencional de tipo.
4. Mantenga el área alrededor de la calentadora libre de obstrucciones para asegurar corriente de aire

INSTRUCCIONES PARA PODER

Esta estufa funciona con 120 voltios únicamente. El cable tiene un enchufe como se muestra en la figura a
continuación.
ADVERTENCIA: La estufa tiene un voltaje de 120
voltios. El cable tiene un enchufe como el que se
muestra en A. Está disponible un adaptador como
el que se muestra en la figura C, para
tomacorrientes de tres clavijas con descarga a
tierra. El terminal con descarga a tierra del
adaptador debe conectarse a una toma a tierra
permanente como por ejemplo, un tomacorriente
con su debida puesta a tierra. El adaptador no
debe usarse si el tomacorriente no tiene tres
orificios y descarga a tierra.
NO ANULE LA CARACTERÍSTICA DE SEGURIDAD
DEL ENCHUFE CON TOMA A TIERRA.

ARMADO
¡Verifique SIEMPRE que la unidad esté desenchufada antes de comenzar a armarla! NUNCA mueva o limpie la
estufa ni cambie las lámparas mientras esté enchufada.
¡SIEMPRE inserte las patas antes de usar! NUNCA enchufe ni utilice la unidad sin insertar las patas.
Coloque la estufa (A) invertida sobre una superficie acolchonada para tener acceso a la parte inferior. Inserte
la pata (B) en la estufa colocando la lengüeta en la parte superior de la pata (B) en la ranura correspondiente
en la parte de abajo de la estufa (A). Inserte dos tornillos (C) en los orificios y ajuste firmemente. Repita el
procedimiento con las otras tres patas.
OPERACIÓN DE LA ESTUFA
Una vez que la estufa esté enchufada correctamente a un tomacorriente con descarga a tierra, estará lista
para ser utilizada.
Nota: Verifique que disyuntores conectados al suministro eléctrico estén funcionando.
Para acceder al panel de control, abra gentilmente la tapa ubicada en la parte frontal de la estufa.

ENCENDER: Presione el interruptor en la posición "ON". La luz de encendido se iluminará y se
activará el efecto de llama.
APAGAR: Presione el interruptor en la posición "OFF". Se apagarán todas las funciones.
TERMOSTATO: Esta perilla controla el termostato que enciende y corta la calefacción para
mantener la temperatura deseada. Gire la perilla para ajustar a la temperatura deseada. La
calefacción se encenderá y se apagará automáticamente para mantener la temperatura
establecida.
(NOTA: Si la temperatura ambiente es superior a la del termostato, la estufa no se encenderá.)
INTENSIDAD DE LA LLAMA: Esta perilla controla el brillo del efecto de llama. Gire la perilla hacia
la derecha (High) para incrementar el efecto de llama. Gire la perilla hacia la izquierda (Low) para
atenuar el efecto de llama.
(NOTA: El interruptor de encendido/apagado activa y desactiva el efecto de llama. El efecto de
llama no se apagará excepto que apague la alimentación.)

Acceda a la lámpara LED a través del panel de acceso trasero (consulte la ilustración a continuación).
a. Desenchufe el cable de alimentación de la toma de corriente.
b. Si la estufa ha estado funcionando, deje que la estufa se enfríe por lo menos 1 hora.
c. Afloje los tornillos que sujetan el panel trasero de la estufa al cuerpo principal de la estufa (ver Fig.1).
d. Quite las lámparas LED y reemplácelas por 17V-01 (ver Fig.2)
e. Vuelva a colocar el panel de acceso trasero y apriete los tornillos. (No apriete demasiado).
ADVERTENCIA: Desconecte la energía y deje que la unidad se enfríe por completo antes de
intentar realizar cualquier mantenimiento o limpieza para reducir el riesgo de incendio,
descarga eléctrica o lesiones personales.
