The Command Access MLRK1 is a eld installable motorized latch-retraction kit for:
• MLRK1-TS - Town Steel 1100 series devices
• MLRK1-USCAN - USCAN2100 series devices
• MLRK1-LSDA2 - IDN LSDA 9200 series devices

Standard Torque Mode
SPECIFICATIONS
• Input Voltage: 24VDC +/- 10%
• Wire gauge: Minimum 18 gauge
• Direct wire run - no relays or access control
units in-between power supply & module
Select your preferred torque mode (ships in standard torque) Press the device push pad to the
desired setting. (Recommend to fully depress and release 5%, giving the device room for
changing door conditions.)
Step 2- While depressing the push pad, apply power. (i.e. presenting the credential to the reader).
Step 3- Continue to keep pad depressed, the device will beep 6 times. After the beeps have stopped, release
the pad and now the adjustment is complete. If not to your liking repeat the 3 steps.
Step 4- Once you found the correct location, turn PTS switch to OFF position.

Over Voltage

Retraction or dogging failure
PUSH TO SET
> 30V unit will shut down. Check voltage & adjust to 24 V.
< 20V unit will shut down. Check voltage & adjust to 24 V.
After 1st fail: 5 beeps then immediately attempts to retract again.
After 2nd fail: 5 beeps with pause in-between for 30 seconds then device
attempts to retract again.
After 3rd fail: 5 beeps every 7 minutes, device will not attempt to retract.
To Reset: Depress bar for 5 seconds at any time.
Device is recording it’s new position and power mode after the 6th beep.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
4 Beeps Failed Sensor Verify all 3 sensor wires are installed correctly. Replace sensor if problem
persists by contacting ofce.

Slide off housing from baserail assembly. Remove push pad by pulling forward &
then upwards.
Pull back spring and insert spring compression bracket
in between metal plate
Once bracket is in place, continue to motor

Remove mounting bracket & (2) screws with 5/16”

Continue bringing the motor down until it’s to
the back of the baserail.
Once the kit lines up with the screw holes, install the (2) Phillips
screws provided using a magnetic tip screw driver.
11. Slide motor bracket underneath baserail into the
exsisting groves. If neccessary, pull motor back to clear
the back of the baserail

Grabbing the motor kit with the attaching hooks facing down move it towards the PIN at 90°. Grab onto the bottom
pin and begin to bring the back of the motor down.

Installation Instructions

Hook up to power & test motor functions before nishing the re-assembly.

Replace push pad by placing over activating arms &
pushing down (A) then back towards end of device (B)

Slide baseplate back into housing being careful of
pinching motor/REX wires.

Installation Instructions

Replace head cover & re-install (4) screws.
Replace back mounting bracket & re-install (2)
screws with 5/16” nut driver.
Replace front mounting bracket.
Connect to power (1) and push down on bar (2).
Follow Push to Set instructions directions below,
remembering to turn the Programming Switch to the
off position when completed.
Finish sliding faceplate onto device.

Setting PTS
