3-1. Receiving a calling from visitor.
①When the call button is pressed by a visitor on the door camera, the melody shall be
rung and visitors' image is shown on the screen
(If you do not press the Talk Button, the display will be shown up for 30 seconds and
turned off automatically).
②By pressing the Talk Button, you are able to talk with visitor. By pressing the Door
Release Button, you can open the door for visitor(Door release function can be done
only when the monitor is showing the visitor, on the camera which has door release
function.)
③When monitor and door camera are on talking, the 3-party talking is possible by
picking up receiver of the interphone. (Camera-Monitor-Interphone talking at same
time.)
④By pressing Talk Button again you can end the talking and monitor comes back to
stand-by mode.
3-2. Talk with Interphone.
(1) Calling from the Interphone.
①You will hear calling sound when interphone call the monitor.
②Press Talk Button to talk with the interphone.
③When monitor and interphone are on talking, the 3-party talking is possible by calling
from the door camera. (Camera-Monitor-Interphone talking at same time.)
(2) Calling the interphone from the monitor.
①Press Talk Button and Interphone Button in order to call the interphone from the
monitor. (Interphone button should be pressed & held until the interphone answers.)
②Then talking is available by picking up the handset of interphone.

3. Operation Methods
(On stand-by mode) Operation
- By pressing the Monitor button repeatedly, the monitor will work as following in order.
Camera 1 Camera 2 OFF Camera 1......
(On talking mode) Operation
- By pressing the Monitor button repeatedly, the monitor will work as following in order.
Camera 1 Camera 2 Camera 1 Camera 2 ......
On talking or monitoring mode, press menu button on the right side of product, and
press △/▽buttons to adjust display(brightness, contrast, color), to enter the Utility
menu, to check the product information.

•Following 4 buttons on the right side of the product are used for setting.
* Menu, End : MENU * Move up, right : △(UP Button)
* Select, Input : SELECT * Move down, left : ▽(DOWN Button)
4-1. Display Setting (Brightness, Contrast, Color Adjustment)
On Setting Mode, move to Door Video Set and press Select button to enter the display
setting mode.
(1) BRIGHTNESS : To adjust brightness.
(2) CONTRAST : To adjust contrast.
(3) COLOR : To adjust color.
※How to adjust
①On DOOR VIDEO SET display press △/▽to move to the item you want to adjust
②Press Select Button to select the item.
③Adjust using △/▽buttons.
④Press Select Button again to finish.
(4) RESET : Puts back settings to initial setting.
※How to reset.

3-4. Door Release Function
If you press the ‘door release’ button (Key shaped button), the monitoring door camera
will make a sound and release the door.
(the door release function is only enabled while in a monitoring mode)
The same rule applies to COMMAX interphone series.
If you press the ‘2nd Door Release’ button while in a monitoring mode, the 2nd door is
released.
'2nd Door Release' only enabled for the 2nd door release function on camera 1 (only
applicable for DRC-40KR2 model or other camera models with a built-in 2nd door
release function).
'2nd Door Release' button is for the 2nd door release function on camera 1 only and
not for the camera 2.

4-2. UTILITY(Extra features)
Press the MENU button in use of conversation or monitoring and set up Screen mode
(1) SCREEN MODE: Choose screen ratio
①Move to UTILITY menu in display setting mode and press SELECT BUTTON.
And then move to SCREEN MODE on the list using △/▽button.
②Press SELECT button to enter the menu
③Set screen ratio using △/▽button.
④Press the SELECT button.
※WIDE : Full of the screen. Not actual ratio(4:3). Image is expanded according to
LCD(WIDE LCD) ratio.
※4:3 : Image of 4:3 ratio(actual ratio for camera) without expansion is shown.
(BLANK will be shown on the left and right of LCD screen)
※ZOOM : Zoon in(expansion) image maintaining actual ratio(4:3) is shown.
(full of the screen)
(2) EXIT : Return to configuration mode
※Setting
①Move to EXIT in UTILITY MODE by using △/▽button
②Click SELECT button to choose
①On DOOR VIDEO SET display move to RESET item.
②Press SELECT Button to select the item.
③Select YES using △/▽buttons.
④Press SELECT button to reset.
(5) EXIT : Return to Configuration mode
※Setting
①Click △/▽button to move to EXIT in DOOR VIDEO SET menu
②Click SELECT button
