INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Roscoe Medical branded nebGO Ultrasonic Handheld
Nebulizer. With proper care, it will provide you with many years of reliable treatment.
This product is designed for the successful treatment of asthma, allergies and other
respiratory disorders. Using vibrating mesh technology, the nebulizer converts the
prescribed medication into an aerosol mist for easy inhalation.
Your ultrasonic handheld nebulizer should be used under the supervision of a licensed
physician and/or a respiratory therapist. Any use of this product other than its intended
use should always be avoided.
INDICATIONS FOR USE: This device is an ultrasonic vibrating mesh nebulizer system
designed to aerosolize physician-prescribed liquid medications for inhalation to a patient
(except for Pentamidine). The device may be used with patients 5 years and older in the
home, hospital and sub-acute care settings.

report to your Homecare Dealer immediately.
When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should ALWAYS be followed. Read all instructions before using.
DANGER
To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury from electrocution, re, burns and to reduce
the risk of damage or malfunction of the unit:
• Before use, check the ratings label on the back of the compressor to ensure that the
voltage and current indicated on the unit correspond with the voltage and current
available. DO NOT overload wall outlets or use with power strips or extension cords.
• DO NOT use this product with a DC to AC converter, or with any AC voltage and/or
frequency other than specied.
WARNING
• Before use, check all accessories for proper assembly. All parts should be rmly in
place. Use of improperly assembled accessories could diminish or prevent adequate
delivery of medication and the effectiveness of the treatment.

WARNING
• ALL included accessories are for single patient use only. DO NOT share your accessories with other
patients.
• NEVER use the nebulizer if it is clogged. If clogged, the aerosol mist will be reduced, altered, or
stopped, which will diminish or eliminate the effectiveness of the treatment.
If clogging occurs, replace with the same model.
DANGER
• DO NOT operate where oxygen is being administered in a closed environment such as an oxygen tent.
• To avoid Electromagnetic Interference/Radio-Frequency Interference (EMI/RFI):
a. DO NOT turn on or use hand-held personal electronic communication devices such as cellular
phones, walkie-talkies and CB radios while the compressor is turned on.
b. DO NOT operate the compressor close to any nearby transmitters (radio, television, microwave, etc.).
c. Be aware that adding accessories or components or modifying the compressor may make it
more susceptible to EMI/RFI.
WARNING
• DO NOT use the nebulizer while operating a vehicle or while bathing.
• Keep all electrical cords away from heated surfaces. DO NOT operate or store unit under direct
sunlight, high temperature or humidity.
• The compressor motor has a thermal protector, which will shut off the unit before it
becomes overheated. When the thermal protector shuts the unit off, please:
o Switch off the unit and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
o Wait 20 min. for motor to cool down before starting another treatment.
o Make sure the air openings are not obstructed and air lter is clean.
DANGER
• DISCONTINUE OPERATION IMMEDIATELY IF ANY OF THE MOTOR HOUSING PARTS BECOME
DETACHED OR BROKEN, EXPOSING THE MOTOR OR ANY
OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS.
• DO NOT open or disassemble the compressor. Refer all servicing to a Compass Health Brands
authorized dealer.
• ALWAYS unplug immediately after each use and keep unplugged when not in use.
DO NOT run this product unattended.
• NEVER operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, is not working properly or any abnor-
malities occur, has been dropped in any way or into water, or has been exposed to any liquids inside
the case. Return to a Compass Health Brands authorized dealer for repair or replacement.

• NEVER drop or insert any object into any openings.
• NEVER block air openings.
• DO NOT wrap cord around the appliance.
• NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled, jerked, strained, twisted, or severely
bent, especially at the plug connections. Damage will occur at the high ex point of entry into the
appliance, causing it to rupture and short. Handle the cord carefully for longer life.
• Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by or near children and physically or
mentally impaired persons. NEVER use when sleeping or drowsy.
• This product contains small parts that may present a choking hazard to small children. The tubing
also presents a strangulation hazard. Keep the unit out of reach of small children.
DANGER
• DO NOT place or store the product where it can fall or be knocked into a bathtub, sink, water, or
other liquid. DO NOT immerse or drop into water or other liquid.
• DO NOT reach for a product that has fallen into water or other liquid. Unplug immediately.
• ALWAYS disconnect the unit from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
NOTE
The exterior surfaces of the unit and the air outlet connector may become slightly warm to the touch
during use. Warm air can also be felt exiting the vents on the sides of the case of the unit. This is normal.
WARNING
WARNING: ALWAYS USE CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION WHEN
ADMINISTERING TREATMENT TO A CHILD. DO NOT LEAVE CHILD
UNATTENDED DURING TREATMENT.
• Any patient who is unable to use a mouthpiece properly under supervision should use a mask.
• To reduce the risk of increased bacterial growth, infection, illness or injury from contamination, thoroughly
clean and dry all accessories and thoroughly dry any moisture or condensation in the tubing at the end
of EVERY treatment, following the instructions on page 10. Cleaning the medication cup after each treat-
ment is not enough. The accessories MUST also be regularly disinfected after every treatment to prevent
serious or fatal illness caused by contamination. Refer to page 11 for disinfection procedures.
• NEVER spray liquids onto the compressor housing. Fluid could cause damage to the electrical
compressor parts and could lead to a malfunction. If uids enter the unit, return the product to an
authorized medical equipment service center for examination and repair.
CAUTION
Medication cup and accessories are NOT dishwasher safe.

GETTING STARTED
1. Check to ensure the following components of the nebulizer are enclosed:
• Main Unit with Medication Cup • Carry Bag
• Mouthpiece • Lanyard
• Adult and Pediatric Masks • Power Cord with USB Wall Outlet
2. It is recommended to keep extra mouthpieces and/or masks on hand at all times in case
original parts become lost, damaged, or soiled.
CAUTION
If you did not receive the components listed above,
please contact the dealer where you purchased your nebulizer.
SETUP AND OPERATING THE HANDHELD NEBULIZER
CAUTION
Accessories are NOT sterile from package. Prior to initial operation, or if device has
been stored/unused for >1 month, all accessories should be thoroughly cleaned.
1. Wash hands with soap and warm water and dry completely with a clean towel.
2. Make sure all accessories have been cleaned and/or disinfected before rst use and after last
daily treatment. Refer to the Cleaning of the Nebulizer Components and
Accessories section on page 10.
3. If using battery power, push back and pull up the battery cover to open.
4. Insert two AA batteries according to the battery polarity indicated inside the battery compartment.
5. Close and push forward the battery cover to lock.
CAUTION
DO NOT use old and new batteries together or mix batteries with differing cell chemistries.
6. If using the power adapter, make sure to remove batteries before use. The adapter does NOT
charge batteries.
CAUTION
The compressor is designed for intermittent use only. For optimal performance,
operate the device for up to 20 minutes, then leave off for 20 minutes.

7. To insert the medication cup into the device, align the three prongs on the back of the medi-
cation cup with the three trenches of the main device and press down. There will be
an audible click.
8. Flip open the medication cup cap.
9. Fill nebulizer cup using eyedropper or syringe with prescribed medication. DO NOT ll more
than 6 ml per treatment.
10. Close the nebulizer cap, ensuring a tight seal.
11. Press the mouthpiece or mask directly onto the medication cup opening.
12. If using the mouthpiece, place it between your teeth, with lips rmly sealed around the
mouthpiece. If using the mask, place it over the mouth, rmly sealed over the area around
the mouth.
13. Press the ON/OFF button on the top of the device to power the unit on. The light indicator
will be green.
14. Breathe in and out slowly and deeply through the mouth until aerosol treatment is complete.
NOTE: Tilt the device slightly to ensure all residual medication contacts the mesh and is
completely aerosolized.
15. Press ON/OFF button to power the device off. The light indicator will be unlit.
16. Unplug the power adapter from the electrical outlet (if using).
17. Detach the mouthpiece or mask from the device.
18. Remove the medication cup from the device by pressing the button under the cup and
carefully lifting the cup up simultaneously.
19. Clean and disinfect ALL nebulizer components before the next treatment. See pages 10-11.
WARNING
• The device has a thermal protector, which will shut off the unit before it becomes over-
heated. When the thermal protector shuts the unit off, please:
a. Press the power button OFF.
b. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet if using power adapter.
c. Wait 20 minutes for the motor to cool down before starting another treatment.
d. Make sure the air openings are not obstructed and air lter is clean.
• NEVER operate if this unit has a damaged cord or plug, has been dropped in any way,
immersed into water or if it does not work properly. Return it to a service center for
repair.
• If any abnormality occurs, discontinue use immediately until the unit has been
examined and repaired.
• ALWAYS unplug the product immediately after use.

• BEFORE connecting power cord, make sure on/off switch is in off position.
• NEVER block the air openings of the main unit or place it where the air openings may be obstructed.
• NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled, jerked, strained, twisted or severely bent, espe-
cially at the plug connections. Damage will occur at the high ex point of entry into the appliance,
causing it to rupture and short. Handle the cord carefully for longer life.
• Safety overload: DO NOT exceed 20 minutes of continuous operation.
CLEANING
CLEANING THE NEBULIZER COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES
1. If there is any residual moisture (condensation) in the medication cup, wipe it out with gauze or a
lint-free towel.
2. Pour distilled water into the medication cup.
3. Turn on the device to nebulize the distilled water for 1 to 2 minutes to clean the mesh.
4. Power off the device, then remove batteries or disconnect the adapter from the main unit.
5. Remove the medication cup from the main unit.
6. Wash and rinse the medication cup with distilled water.
7. Shake off excess water and allow parts to be fully air dried on a clean, dry towel.
8. Use a clean towel slightly dampened with warm water to clean the outside of the device.
9. Wash the mouthpiece and mask accessories with a mild soap and warm water or soak in 1 part
white vinegar to 3 parts hot tap water for one hour. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely
before use. Perform disinfection per procedures on page 11.
10. Make sure that all cleaned parts are completely dry before storing or used.
CAUTION
• Keep the battery compartment on the device dry at all times
• DO NOT poke the mesh with nger, cotton swab or any objects.
• DO NOT clean parts in a dishwasher.
• DO NOT use microwave to dry any parts, including device.
• Clean all necessary ports after each use as instructed in this guidebook.
• DO NOT attempt to wash and reuse the air lter. DO NOT use substitute lter material.

DISINFECTING THE NEBULIZER ACCESSORIES
Method 1 : Boiling
1. Rinse the medication cup with distilled water.
2. Bring a saucepan of distilled water to a boil.
3. Carefully immerse the medication cup into the boiling water for a maximum of 10 minutes.
4. Carefully remove the medication cup from the boiling water and shake off excess water.
5. Allow to cool down and air dry completely on a clean, dry towel. Ensure all cleaned parts
are completely dry before use or storage.
Method 2 : Alcohol
1. Rinse the medication cup, mouthpiece and/or mask(s) with distilled water.
2. Immerse the medication cup, mouthpiece and/or mask(s) in 75% ethyl alcohol for 1 minute.
3. Rinse the medication cup, mouthpiece and/or mask(s) with distilled water again, shake off
excess water.
4. Allow parts to air dry completely on a clean, dry towel. Ensure all cleaned parts are
completely dry before use or storage.
WARNING
• Alcohol is highly ammable. DO NOT use alcohol in close vicinity of open re or smoke.
• DO NOT immerse the main unit or power adapter in any liquid.

With proper care, the medication cup should be replaced every 12 months, and the mouth-
piece and/or masks should be replaced every 3 months, depending on frequency of use.
STORAGE
When not in use, store the device and all accessories in the included carry bag or in a dry,
clean environment.
CAUTION
• DO NOT store or carry the device with any residual liquid in the medication cup.
• Remove the batteries if device is not in use for long periods. Failure to do so could
result in damage due to battery leakage.
• DO NOT leave the device under direct sunlight, in high humidity, extreme heat or cold
environments.
• ALWAYS keep unit unplugged while not in use.
• Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• DO NOT wrap cord around device.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Compass Health Brands offers a limited two (2) year warranty on the device and three (3)
months on accessories. We warrant that the compressor unit and its parts will be free from
defects in workmanship and materials for a period of two (2) years from the date of original
purchase and ninety (90) days on all accessories including medication cup. This warranty
does not extend to failures resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, alteration, use of unau-
thorized service, parts or cleaning solutions, or failure to comply with the User’s Manual.
If the warranted equipment should fail during the warranty period, Compass Health
Brands, at our option, will repair or replace parts at issue, provided the claim is bona de.
It shall be the responsibility of the purchaser to pack and return the equipment in a manner
to avoid shipping damage. The shipment must be prepaid to us. This warranty covers the
cost of labor incurred in the removal or replacement of the warranted component parts in
the U.S. only.
SERVICE AND REPAIR
If you should have any questions about this nebulizer, please contact an authorized
Compass Health Brands dealer. Do not open or disassemble the device at any time.
This will void the warranty. If the unit is malfunctioning, discontinue use immediately
and return to the original provider for repair or replacement.
DISPOSAL
This product should not be disposed of with other household wastes at the end of its
working life. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, please separate this from other types of wastes and recycle
it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.
Household users should contact their local government for details on appropriate and
safe disposal.

INTRODUCCIÓN
Gracias por adquirir el nebulizador portátil ultrasónico nebGO Roscoe Medical. Con el cuidado
apropiado, este dispositivo le brindará muchos años de tratamiento conable.
Este producto se diseñó para el tratamiento exitoso del asma, alergias y otros trastornos
respiratorios. Mediante la tecnología de malla con vibración, el nebulizador convierte el
medicación prescrito en una niebla de aerosol para facilitar su inhalación.
Se debe utilizar su nebulizador portátil ultrasónico bajo la supervisión de un médico autorizado
o un terapeuta respiratorio. No use el producto para otro propósito que no sea el previsto.
INDICACIONES DE USO: Este dispositivo es un sistema nebulizador ultrasónico de malla con
vibración diseñado para pulverizar medicaciones líquidos prescritos por el médico para la
inhalación de un paciente (a excepción de la pentamidina). El dispositivo se puede usar con
pacientes de 5 años o más en el hogar, en el hospital y en entornos de atención subaguda.
