Overview
DVR lets you record your favorite programs and watch them on your schedule. With DVR you can rewind
and fast-forward recorded programs, plus rewind and pause live TV.
Consolidated offers DVR Basic and Whole-Home DVR.
DVR Basic allows you to record up to two shows at a time per set-top box with a DVR in your home. The
program can be watched only on the set-top box it was recorded on.
Whole-Home DVR offers the same functionality as DVR basic with the added feature of being able to
watch the recorded show or schedule a recording from any set-top box in the home.
Pause a Live Program
1. Press the Pause button on your remote control.
2. A paused program will stay paused between 30 and 45 minutes and then will resume play.
3. Press the Play button to resume programming.
4. If you paused a live program, you will now be able rewind and fast-forward that program until ti
catches up to the live viewing time.
Record a Live Program
1. While watching a program press the OK button.
2. A menu will display to Record a Program, Expanded Info and Cancel.
3. Choose Record a Program and press OK.
4. The current program will start recording at the time you pushed the record button. It will not start
from the beginning.
5. A red dot will appear indicating the program is recording.

Set Up a Future DVR Recording
1. Press the GUIDE button on your remote control.
2. Highlight a future program and press OK.
3. The menu will display with options.
4. Select Record Program and then press OK.

5. You will be returned to the Guide and a red dot icon will appear indicating the program is to be
recorded.
6. To exit from the guide press the EXIT button.

Cancel a DVR Recording
1. Press the GUIDE button, highlight the recorded program and press OK.
2. Select Cancel Recording and press OK.
3. A message will display asking you to confirm the cancellation of the recording. Highlight Yes and
press OK.
4. To exit from the guide press the EXIT button.

Record a Series
1. Press the GUIDE button on your remote control and highlight a future series episode that you would
like to record and press OK.
2. The menu will appear, select Record Series and press OK.
3. A display will appear with Name of the program and options to select Channel, Preference, Episodes,
Start and End times and Limit. Choose your options and press OK.
4. The on-screen guide will display showing a red dot with a plus symbol indicating the series is
scheduled to record.
5. To exit from the guide press the EXIT button.

Record a Scheduled Event
Use this option to change the start/stop times from what they are listed as in the guide. This option
works best for sports programming that may run past its scheduled time.
1. Press the GUIDE button and highlight a future program you want to record and press OK.
2. A Menu will display with options for Schedule Event, Record Program, Record Series, Set Reminder,
Cancel AutoTune, Expanded Info, and Cancel.
3. Highlight Schedule Event and press OK.
4. A pop up box will show Title of program, Channel, Duration, Date, Type and Frequency. Set your
preferences by highlighting the option you want to change and press OK. Left and right arrows will
appear to change the selection to what you want. Then highlight OK and press OK.
5. Screen will return to the Guide and a red dot will appear indicating the program is set to record.
6. To exit press the EXIT button on your remote control.

Watch a Recorded Program
1. Press the MENU button and use the arrow keys to highlight DVR and press OK.
2. A DVR menu will display.
3. Highlight a recorded program and press OK.

4. Menu options will display.
5. Highlight Play Recording and press OK.
6. Program will start to play.
7. You can press Fast-Forward, Rewind, Replay, Skip and Play and the program will respond to these
commands.
8. To stop watching the recorded program press the STOP button.
9. A message will display asking to delete this recording.
10. Select your option and press OK.
11. The DVR menu will display. Press the EXIT button to return to normal programming.

Set a Reminder
1. Press the GUIDE button on your remote control.
2. Guide menu will display.
3. Highlight a future program and press OK.
4. Highlight Set Reminder and press OK.
5. The TV screen will return back to the Guide with the clock icon next to the program you set the
reminder on indicating a reminder has been set.

Cancel a Reminder
1. Press the GUIDE button on your remote control.
2. Highlight the program with the reminder and press OK.
3. A menu will appear, highlight Cancel Reminder and press OK.
4. To exit press the EXIT button on your remote control.

Set an Autotune
1. Press the GUIDE button on your remote control.
2. Highlight a future program and press OK.
3. The menu will appear, highlight Set Autotune, and press OK.
4. The on-screen guide will appear with an "Arrow" icon indicating the program will be automatically
tune to that channel.
5. To exit press the EXIT button on your remote control.

Cancel an Autotune
1. Press the GUIDE button on your remote control.
2. Highlight the program that is set to Autotune and press OK.
3. The menu will appear, highlight Cancel Autotune, and press OK.
4. The on-screen guide will appear and the Autotune "Arrow" icon next to the program will have
disappeared.
