major cause of skin cancer. In some countries the UV radiation
is strong enough to cause sunburn in just 11 minutes on a
ne summers day. To prevent sun damage we recommend
following the Sun Smart steps: slip on clothing, slop on
sunscreen, slap on a hat, slide on sunglasses and seek shade.

and store in a dry place. If the canopy is wet, allow to dry naturally
opened up before storing.
If necessary, clean the fabric with a hose.

non-staining lubricant spray (silicon-based).

STEP 1
Take all parts out of boxes 1 and 2
and ensure they are all present.
Box 1
a) Lower pole x 1
b) 360˚ Swivel system x 1
c) Screws x 4 (M8 x 15)
d) Screws x 4 (M8 x 25)
e) Washer x 8
f) Umbrella frame & canopy x 1
g) Crank handle x 1
h) Screw with plastic cap x 1
i) Plastic cover x 1
j) Plastic cone x 1
k) Allen key x 1
l) Umbrella cover x 1
m) Stay pole x 1
Box 2
n) Fillable base and metal
cross base x 1
o) Base wheels x 4 (optional)
STEP 2
Check that cross base pieces are secured to
the under side of (n).
Attach wheels (o) to the underside
of (n) (optional).
STEP 4
Place the plastic cone (j) over the lower pole
(a) & position over 360° swivel system (b).
STEP 6
Place the umbrella frame pole (f) onto the
lower pole (a). Push plastic cover (i) down to
sit neatly on plastic cone (j). Secure poles
together using the screw with plastic cap (h).
STEP 7
Using the easy glide handle, push in an
upwards direction towards the top of
the umbrella pole until it locks into the
lowest position.
STEP 8
Open the umbrella by inserting and
rotating the crank handle (g).
STEP 11
To tilt the canopy horizontally, release the
lever on (f) as shown, then rotate to the le
or right and lock into position at desired angle.
