90 Day Limited Warranty
Course Housewares, LLC warrants this product to be free from manufacturer defect for up to 90 days from
the original date of purchase. If a defect is found to exist, Course Housewares will, at its option, either repair or
replace the product or the defective component, including labor. Replacement will be made with new or
rebuilt product or components. This warranty does NOT cover (a) ordinary wear and tear (such as scratches,
dents or stains), (b) impact damage or breakage, (c) heat discoloration, minor imperfections and slight color
variations which are a normal part of the craftsmanship, (d) improper cleaning methods causing scratches, or
(e) any unit that has been tampered with, (f) damages incurred through improper use and care and (g) faulty
packaging by you or mishandling by any common carrier. Failure to follow the accompanying Care and Use
instructions or commercial use will void this warranty.
Course Housewares’ sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to repair or
replacement, at its option, of the defective item. You will be responsible for any shipping and handling fees.
Products returned to us that are not found to be defective in material or workmanship will be returned to
you. If your particular product is found defective but is no longer available and cannot be repaired, a
comparable product, at our discretion, will be sent as a replacement. This warranty extends only to the
product’s original purchaser, US residents only and does not cover damage caused by improper use or
accidental damage.
COURSE HOUSEWARES, LLC., MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
REGARDING THE PRODUCT OR RELATING TO ITS QUALITY. PERFORMANCE, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, COURSE HOUSEWARES, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT,
CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES WHETHER A CLAIM BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, WARRANTY OR
OTHERWISE, IN NO EVENT WILL LIABILITY EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. THE
DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE
DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN. COURSE HOUSEWARES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE
FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other legal rights, which vary from State to State.
To Process a claim:
Do not return the product to the retailer from which it was purchased. Your retailer has no liability for this
warranty. Please contact Course Housewares’ customer service department for assistance and to ensure the
fastest possible resolution to the problem. Please have your purchase information available to speed this
process.

GETTING STARTED
¨ Before using, remove any labels and wash and dry each
item in accordance with the care and use instructions.
CARE AND USE
¨ Always make sure the steamer is assembled correctly
before heating or moving.
¨ Always use caution when handling the steamer, as the
steamer can become hot. Always use oven mitts, or
potholders when handling the steamer.
¨ Use caution when removing the steamer lid, as steam can
be released and can be extremely hot.
¨ When using the water tray move the product by carefully
holding the water tray handles.
¨ Never use the steamer in the microwave for longer than
30 minutes. This can cause damage to the steamer and
will void your warranty.
¨ Never use your steamer in the microwave when the water
tray is empty.
¨ When using your steamer in the microwave make sure the
steamer is placed in your microwave so that the steamer
can freely rotate and not touch the top or sides of the
microwave.
¨ Never use your steamer if the steamer is damaged in
anyway. Discontinue use and call or email customer
service at 1-866-325-1659 or askcourse@course-h.com.
¨ Keep out of reach of pets and children at all times.
¨ Never use the steamer directly on any stovetop cooking
source without placing on top of a compatible piece of
cookware.
¨ Never use the water tray when steaming on a stovetop.
¨ Never use the steamer in a conventional oven.
¨ Never allow the water tray or your cookware to boil dry
when in use. Supervision is recommended. Refilling the
water tray or your cookware could be needed when
steaming for longer periods of time.

STEAMING IN THE MICROWAVE
¨Fill the water tray with approximately with 1 ½ cups of
water. Water should stay slightly below the base of the
large steaming bowl.
¨Place the steaming bowl onto the water tray. Your small
steaming bowl is to be used in conjunction with the large
steaming bowl only.
¨
Place the steamer lid on top of the steaming bowl. Be sure
lid is placed securely on top of the steaming bowl to avoid
damage/injury.
¨See the supplied cooking time chart on the next page for
approximate cooking times.

STEAMING ON A STOVETOP
¨Add water into a 2 to 3 quart saucepan. Be sure to add
enough water that it will not boil dry and that the base of
the large steaming bowl is not in contact with the water.
¨Your small steaming bowl is to be used in conjunction
with the large steaming bowl only. The large steaming
bowl can be used alone or along with the small steaming
bowl. Never use your water tray when steaming on a
stovetop, the water tray is for microwave use only.
¨Once your desired food is placed into the steam
bowl/bowls place the large steaming bowl securely over
the rim of the saucepan. (See diagram below) If you are
also using the small steaming bowl carefully place this
bowl on to the large steaming bowl’s rim.
¨Place the steaming lid on top of your steaming bowl. Be
sure the steaming lid is securely on top of the steaming
bowl to avoid damage/injury.

CLEANING YOUR STEAMER
¨Always allow your steamer to completely cool before
attempting to clean any part of the steamer.
¨Never use any harsh cleaners on the steamer.
¨While your steamer is dishwasher safe, hand washing
with warm, soapy water is recommended.
¨Always allow the steamer to completely dry before
storing the steamer. It is recommended to store the
steamer stacked together to avoid damage to the
steamer.
¨Always store in a clean, dry place.

GET COOKING!
Steamed Salmon
INGREDIENTS:
¨1 tsp. Olive Oil
¨1 dash Sesame Oil
¨2 Garlic Cloves, minced
¨1 Tbsp. Ginger, chopped
¨1 Tbsp. Chinese Black Bean & Garlic Sauce
¨1 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
¨½ Cup Chicken Broth
¨4 Salmon Fillets (4 oz each)
¨Salt and Pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
¨Begin by setting up your Steamer as directed above for stove
top use.
¨Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a separate saucepan over
medium heat. Sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute. Stir in
Chinese black bean sauce and the red pepper flakes. Cook for 5
minutes.
¨Remove from heat and stir in the chicken broth; then set aside.
¨Rinse salmon and pat dry. Lightly salt and pepper each side.
Spoon the above mixture over salmon.
¨Place into your Steamer using the small steaming bowl. Steam
for 14 minutes or until salmon easily flakes.
