Stealth V –Quick Start Guide
POWER ON
Press and hold the power button at least 3 seconds then
release. LEDs will flash in sequence, display current state,
and then turn off after a short period.
POWER OFF
Press and hold the power button at least 5 seconds then
release. The LEDs will cycle through a sequence and then
turn off.
CHARGING
•Turn the tracking device off by holding down the power
button for 5 seconds.
•Open the charging port cover & attach the supplied
charger.
•The red light will blink while charging & turn solid red
once charged.
•Once fully charged, remove the charger, then screw the
charging port cover back on. DO NOT overtighten.
CHARGING NOTES
•Always fully charge your device before deploying.
•Charging time can take up to 12 hours if fully drained.
•Once fully charged, power off, unplug and store until
needed.
•Always charge on a fireproof surface under supervision.
•Use only the supplied charger.
•When not in use, battery should be recharged when it
drains to 50% capacity.
CHECK ON/OFF STATUS
To determine if the device is ON, tap (do not hold)
the power Button to view the LED’s.
BATTERY LEVEL
To check the battery level of your device, visit the
coverttrack.com website.
PLACEMENT
Typical placement is under the vehicle within 10” of one
side of the vehicle.
COVERAGE AREA
The tracking device must be within 4G coverage of
selected model (AT&T or Verizon) to function.

*If the device is powered off and the charge cable is disconnected, the Power LED will turn off.
WARNINGS
•Contains strong magnets that may damage any LCD,
Mobile Device Screen, or Computer screen in close
proximity.
•Always charge on a fireproof surface under supervision.
•Only use the supplied charger.
•Failure to secure the charging port cover may cause
damage to the unit!
•Do not leave connected to the charger for longer than
24 hours.
•When deploying the tracker, do not place the device
near or on fuel tank or fuel tank lines.
•Do NOT place near any source of heat (ex: exhaust
system or engine compartment) as this may cause fire.
•Failure to follow the instructions may result in fire,
personal injury and damage to property.

Note:
This equipment should be installed and operated
with a minimum distance of 20 cm between the
radiator and the body of the user or nearby persons.

A shielded USB cable must be used with this device.

LPRS Note:
This device may not interfere with TV reception or
Federal Government radar.
This transmitter is authorized by rule under the Low
Power Radio Service (47 CFR part 95) and must not
cause harmful interference to TV reception or to the
United States Air Force Space Surveillance System
operating in the 216.88-217.08 MHz band. With the
exception of automated maritime
telecommunications system (AMTS) devices, you do
not need an FCC license to operate this transmitter.
This transmitter may only be used to provide:
auditory assistance to persons with disabilities,
persons who require language translation, or persons
in educational settings; health care services to the ill;
law enforcement tracking services under agreement
with a law enforcement agency; or AMTS network
control communications. Two-way voice
communications and all other types of uses not
mentioned above are expressly prohibited.
