Do not install in places with a lot of humidity or dust or places
where water (rainwater) splashes.
•
Do not use or store combustible gases or ammable materials near
this product.
•
If there is a strange sound, burning smell, or smoke from the
device, immediately unplug the power plug and contact a service
center.
•
Never immerse the product in water.
•
Do not spray ammable materials such as insecticides or air
fresheners on the intake.
•
Do not open, repair, or modify the device yourself.
•
Do not put bowls of water, chemicals, food, small metal objects, or
ammable materials on top of this product.
•
Unplug the power before cleaning.
•
If the purier falls over and gets wet during use, A/S maintenance
is required before further use.

Do not spray water directly on the device or use benzene, thinners,
etc. to wipe it during cleaning.

Do not insert sharp objects such as picks into the air quality sensor.

Do not put ngers or foreign matter (pins, sticks, coins, etc.) into the vent.

Replace the lter with a new one when the time comes.

Do not spray water directly on the purier.

(current sensitivity 30 mA or less).

• Do not push or lean on the purier. The purier may fall over.
• Do not use for a long time in places that are sealed or where children,
the elderly, or sick people are.
• Do not block the vent with laundry or curtains.
• Remove dust from the pre-lter with a vacuum cleaner or water.
• Periodically wash the pre-lter and dry it well in a shady place with
good ventilation.
• People with physical, sensory, or mental impairment as well as children
must be supervised or guided while using the device.
• It is advisable to supervise children so they do not play with the device.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision

AIR PURIFICATION PROCESS
■Pre-lter
Removes large dust particles, mold, hair, and pet hair.
■Deodorization lter
The granular activated carbon lter, which is eective in removing odor and hazardous gas, removes
food smell and bad odors in the house.
■HEPA lter
High performance HEPA lter has been applied for superior performance in removing ne dust and
cigarette smoke .

BEFORE USE
Tips
This product is for 220 V- 240 V~ 50 Hz, 60 Hz only.
Make sure to connect the power plug to a grounded
220 V- 240 V~ 50 Hz, 60 Hz outlet.
- Be sure to remove the packaging vinyl before installing the lter.
- Use the lter indoors only.
- Unplug the power cord from the outlet when not using the product.
- Check the front of the lter when installing it.

1. Open the front cover.
Pull the top of the front cover to open it.
2.
Take out the lter and remove the packaging vinyl.
Remove the packaging plastic from all lters
except the pre- lter and
assemble the product
according to the lter assembly sequence.

3. Fix the front cover.
Align the two projections on the bottom of the
front cover with the grooves and push in the
cover to x it.
∗ The product will not operate if the front cover is not
xed correctly.

HOW TO USE
- Plug the power cord into an outlet before operating the product.
- The product operates in auto mode by default when turned on.

■ How to Operate Product Manually
Press the Power button to turn on the
power. Press the Mode button to select
the desired air volume.

■ How to Use Auto Mode
Press the Power button to turn on the
product and press the Mode button to
select Auto Mode.

▶Auto Mode
The product operates automatically with ideal air volume (Auto level 1 → Auto level 2 → Auto level 3)
according to indoor pollution level detected by the sensor. This mode is convenient for general users.

∗ While sleeping, it is recommended to use 'Silent Mode' as the amount of air volume may change due to the
change in pollution level.
∗ If the clean state is maintained for a certain period of time in the auto mode, it is switched to the silent
mode. If the pollution level changes, it is operated in the auto mode.
▶Silent Mode
This mode minimizes the air volume during operation for a quiet and pleasant environment. In this Operation
mode, low noises and low power consumptions are expected.

How to adjust the sensitivity of the pollution sensor

ADJUST PARTICLE SENSOR
When the product is shipped out, the pollution sensor is set to standard sensitivity. If the pollution level
stays at the highest level after 2 hours of operation or stays at the lowest level for more than 1 hour when
the air does not seem clean, users can adjust the sensitivity of the pollution sensor as follows.
1. While the product is operating, press the Power
button and the Mode button at the same time for
more than 2 seconds.
2. The mode indicator ashes at an approximately
0.5 second interval.
4. Press the Power button and the Mode button at
the same time for more than about 2 seconds, the
selected sensitivity will be inputted and the product
will start operating normally.
∗ If the Power button and the Mode button are not pressed for 10
seconds,the selected sensitivity of the sensor is automatically entered.
3. Press the Mode button to adjust it to the desired
sensitivity. The mode indicator blinks as shown below
once sensor sensitivity has been selected.

How to Use

Tips
- Always unplug the power cord before cleaning.
- Do not use organic solvents (thinner, etc.), bleach, or detergents containing
chlorine or abrasives to clean the product.
- Do not immerse the product in water or spray water on it.
HOW TO CLEAN
■How to Clean Pollution Sensor (every two months)
1. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to clean the air inlet and the air
outlet of the pollution sensor.
∗ Be careful not to let dust fall inside the product when cleaning.
2. Open the pollution sensor cover at the rear top of the product.
(Use the grove of the pollution sensor’
cover to open the cover)
Soak a cotton swab in water and wipe o
the lens, the dust inlet and outlet, then
wipe it o with dry cotton swab to
remove moisture from it.
∗ Performance of pollution detection sensor may
decrease if not cleaned regularly.
∗ Clean more often in environment with heavy dust presence.
■How to Clean Front Cover
Use a soft cloth or brush to wipe o dusts on the surface of the front cover.
∗ Use slightly wet cloth to wipe when contamination is high
(Do not use abrasive).
■How to Clean Main Body of Product
Use a dry and soft cloth to wipe it.
∗ Use slightly wet cloth to wipe when contamination is high
(Do not use abrasive).

Tips
- Always unplug the power cord before cleaning the lter.
- The pre-lter can be restored by removing dust or washing with water.
- Failure to clean the pre-lter for a long time may result in poor product performance.
-
The HEPA lter and deodorization lter cannot be restored by cleaning.
Never wash these lters with water.
■Pre-lter (every two weeks)
When the pre-lter alarm sounds, start cleaning.
1. The pre-lter can be easily removed without disassembling
the product.
Pull the Pre-lter handle to take it out.
∗ Be careful not to let dust fall o when removing.
2. Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner or water depending on
the degree of pollution.
∗ Be careful not to let dust fall inside the product when cleaning.
3. Assembling with one touch is convenient.
After the pre-lter is completely dried, push it completely to the
end of product.
4. Reset the alarm by pressing the lter reset button for 3 seconds.

■How to Replace
- Refer to the lter installation method on page 10 to replace the lter.
- Be sure to check the front side when installing the lter.
- Use genuine Coway lter to maintain optimal performance of the product.
- Always unplug the power cord before replacing the lter.

■How to Replace Deodorization/HEPA lter
(Replace every 12 months)
When the HEPA/CARBON lter alarm indicator is on, replace it.
4. After assembling to the product, close the front cover.
5. Reset the alarm by pressing the lter reset button for
3 seconds.
1. Open the front cover and remove the lter set entirely.
∗ It prevents dust generation inside the space.
2. Move to the place where the lter replacement is possible
and separate the HEPA lter and deodorization lter
respectively.
3. Clean/Wash the area except the lter and dry it before
assembling the new lter.
∗ Check the front display of the lter.
∗ Assemble the deodorization lter and the HEPA lter respectively.
Tips
- The cover with the lter attached may damage if it is dropped while moving,
so do not move it upside down.
- Pre-lter, Deodorization lter, and Dust collection lter are consumables.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The air purier may malfunction due to lack of familiarity and minor causes
even though the
product is not broken. Check the following in such a circumstance to resolve the issue easily
without
assistance from the service center. If the problem persists after checking the items below, please
contact
the service center.
