STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS –1 OF 6
01 Start by putting on proper eye protective gear and gloves, and ensure !
you hold the tools properly with all safeguards in place – use the tool !
according to its instruction manual.
02 Start by cutting out all the pieces according to the cut list.!
Pieces A, D, and E are made from the 5/4" deckboard.!
Pieces B and C are made from the 2x4 board.!
Pieces F, G, and H are made from hockey sticks.
!
Note: Any curved cuts don’t need to be exact; the dimensions !
listed are more of a guide than exact measurements. However, in
the case of the runners (A), it is important that both are identical. It
is suggested that you clamp or screw them together temporarily
while cutting them, thereby ensuring that they are identical.
09
03 Optional: If the chair is to be painted or stained, it is easier to coat
each piece prior to assembly.
04 Attach the front armrest post (B) to the runner (A) at the indicated
location and angle using five (5) 2" deck screws in an “X” pattern.
Note: Pre-drilling all screw holes with a countersinking bit is
suggested, as it helps to avoid splitting the wood. All screws on this
project should be pre-drilled and countersunk.
05 Attach the rear back brace post (C) to the runner (A) !
at the indicated location and angle using five (5) 2" !
deck screws in an “X” pattern.
06 Repeat steps 4 and 5 using the second A, B, and C pieces
that you cut. This second assembly should be a mirror image
of the first, so you’ll have to switch the side that you attach B
and C to A.

11
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS –4 OF 6
09 Attach hockey sticks (F) to the upper (E) and lower (D) back braces as shown using !
two (2) 2" deck screws per stick. The length of the hockey sticks used is up to the builder, !
but 32" is suggested as a maximum height and 27¾" as a minimum. The spacing between !
hockey sticks on the lower brace should be ~¼" and ~¾" on the upper brace.
Optional: Leave the hockey stick blades attached to the two outermost hockey sticks for a unique look.
10 Attach hockey stick shafts (G) to the runners (A) using two (2) 2" deck
screws per hockey stick shaft. Space hockey stick shafts ~¼" apart.
12
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS –5 OF 6
11 Attach goalie stick to rear back brace post (C) at indicated height using one (1) 2" deck screw.
12 Repeat step 11 on the opposite side.
13
13 Attach goalie stick armrests (H) to front armrest posts (B) at indicated
location using four (4) 2" deck screws.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS –6 OF 6
14 Trim goalie stick armrests to desired shape using the jigsaw.
15 Sand rough edges on goalie stick armrests using the cordless sander.
16 Optional: Fill and stain screw holes using wood filler and wood stain.
17 Take a step back and admire your craftsmanship!
