Mold
Mold and mildew spores are present in indoor and outdoor environments. In
order to keep all mold and mildew spores under control, check humidity and
ventilate your caravan regularly. A healthy ventilation should be provided to
control humidity.
Chemical Sensitivity
Immediately after the caravan is purchased, and sometimes after a long period
of inactivity, a strong odor and/or chemical sensitivity may be experienced. It's
not a fault of the caravan. As in homes, many different products are used in
the construction of caravans, such as carpet, linoleum, plywood, insulation,
flooring. In the use of different materials, odor sensitivity is more obvious.
Since the caravan has small living spaces, the air exchange inside is
significantly less than the house.
These products can outgas different chemicals, including formaldehyde, when
new or when exposed to high temperatures and/or humidity. This outgassing,
along with minimal air exchange, can cause irritation of the eyes, nose, and
throat, and sometimes headaches, nausea, and various asthma-like
symptoms. The elderly and young children, as well as anyone with asthma,
allergies or lung problems, may be more sensitive to the effects of gassing.
Safety
Passenger Transportation
Since there is no seat belt in the caravan, it should not be traveled in the
caravan while driving in order to balance the weight distribution.
Pull and Weight Distribution
Weight distribution is an important factor when loading your camper before
travelling. An evenly distributed caravan will result in efficient and trouble-free
towing.
In order for the caravan to be able to go out on the road in a healthy way and
not to sway, especially on bends, the center of gravity should be spread inside
the caravan, not on one side.
Swinging Control
Swinging or fishtail is the sideways movement of the caravan caused by
external forces. Excessive rocking of your camper can cause the caravan and
towing vehicle to topple over, resulting in serious injury or death.
Tire Safety
Properly maintained tires improve handling and stopping. The wheel nuts must
be properly tightened.
Tools and Equipment
Appliances (stove, refrigerator, etc.) and equipment (hot water heater, oven,
etc.) typically run on LPG. LPG is flammable and is under high pressure.
Misuse may cause fire and/or explosion. Be sure to follow all instructions and
warnings in the manual, as well as in the device and equipment specific user
manuals.

7
Low Voltage
The detector's operating voltage is 12 VDC. The voltage supplied to the
detector in the caravan may drop below 8 VDC minimum. The detector gives
the user a low voltage warning before itreaches this level and gives additional
clear warnings and alarms after the 8 VDC level is reached. However, if the
current power supplied to the unit is below the operating voltage of 8 VDC, the
detector will not detect the gas or protect against dangerous LPG levels.
Note
If a low voltage warning sounds, the detector will need to be reset by
disconnecting the battery before normal operation can occur.
Ventilation
It is very important to ventilate the caravan to reduce exposure to chemicals
from outgassing. Ventilation should be done frequently after purchase and
when temperatures and humidity rise. Note that gas output is accelerated by
heat and humidity. Open windows, vents and doors. Use natural ventilation or
a fan to expel stale air and bring in fresh air. Reducing airflow by sealing the
caravan increases the formaldehyde level in the vehicle's interior air.
Do not smoke
Smoking inside the caravan will damage the caravan and also release other
toxic chemicals such as formaldehyde.
Medical Advice
Questions about the effects of formaldehyde on your health should be
addressed to your doctor or local health department.
Alarms and Detectors
LPG/CO Detector
Please read the entire detector manual before operating the unit. The LPG/CO
detector is located in the kitchen area. LPG is a mixture of gases produced
and sold commercially as fuel for heating and cooking appliances. LPG is
highly flammable and as a result can be explosive when ignited under certain
conditions. LPG is heavier than air and will accumulate near the floor if
confined to a confined space. The LPG/CO detector is designed to alarm when
propane gas exceeds 10% of the lower explosive limit for more than 30
seconds or when CO gas reaches unsafe levels. The horn will beep
continuously and the red LED will illuminate when propane gas is detected. If
CO gas is detected, the horn will sound 4 quick chirps followed by a 4 second
pause and the red LED will flash quickly. Your LPG/CO detector is directly
connected to your caravan battery and includes a fuse. There is no separate
internal battery. In normal standby mode, the LED indicator will be green.

CRAWLER
Model: TRC 458
Version: EN.1.00.422
8
Warning
Activation of this detector indicates the possible presence of LPG which could
cause an explosion and/or fire, resulting in serious injury or death. This
normally indicates a leak in the LPG installation or an LPG device. Extinguish
all open flames, open your windows and doors, and evacuate the unit
immediately. Do not use any electrical switches. Turn off the LPG in your gas
tank(s). Do not re-enter your unit until a qualified repair technician has
corrected the problem and confirmed that the system is safe.
Warning
It is not recommended to power off the detector during storage. There is a
small heater in the sensor of the device that burns the dirt in the air during
normal usage periods. During power-off periods, impurities may accumulate
on the sensor. When power is restored to the detector, the detector alarm can
activate until the impurities are burned. This may take several hours, during
which time the alarm will be on continuously.
Warning
After 5 years of use, the detector should be replaced. If it is not changed, it
may not alarm. CO poisoning is popularly known as stove poisoning and can
cause death.
Warning
The device is for general domestic, domestic and caravan use. It cannot be
used in workplaces. It does not meet the required OHS rules. It needs a more
sensitive detector especially for groups at risk for CO poisoning (pregnant
women, patients, etc.).
Warnings
- Carbon Monoxide is produced as a result of incomplete combustion of fuels
such as wood, coal, heating oil, paraffin, gasoline, natural gas, propane,
butane.
- Ideally, it is recommended to install a Carbon Monoxide detector in or near
every room where fuel-burning appliances such as room heaters, water
heaters, stoves, grills are located.
- Ensure that the alarm horn can be heard by everyone it is intended to hear.
Seek medical attention if the caravan user is suspected of being affected by
Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
- If the alarm goes off, be sure to investigate the problem. Ignoring the alarm
could result in illness, injury or death. (CO may be present even if nothing is
seen or smelled by the user.)
- When household cleaning materials are used, room spaces should be well
ventilated as this may cause false alarms.

Avoid dead air spaces as shown!
- Use of a fan to ensure air circulation.
- Leaving cabinets and cabinet doors partially open.
- To help alleviate condensation in cold weather;
- In cold weather keep the temperature reasonably cool as much as
possible.
- The caravan needs to breathe, it will smell when airtight.
- Let some warm air out and outside air in.
- Do not allow humid indoor air to be recycled from use and provide
reasonable ventilation.
Factors Contributing to Mold Growth
For mold growth to occur, indoor or outdoor temperatures must be between
4° and 33°C, and it must also have a source of moisture such as humidity,
stagnant water, moist materials. The fastest growth inside the caravan is due
to its hot and humid condition.
Inhibition of Mold Growth
- Checking relative humidity can prevent mold and mildew growth.
- The use of air conditioners in hot climates will reduce the relative humidity.
- Ventilation is available in the kitchen area.
- To prevent mold growth, using vents when preparing food is an important
factor, even in cold weather.
- Also, opening windows during these activities will help with natural ventilation.
- In extremely humid conditions, using a dehumidifier may help.
- Regular cleaning of mold, which is caused by frequent use of caravan and/or
growing, is an important preventive measure.
- Any spills should be wiped up quickly and dried as soon as possible.
- Avoid leaving damp items lying around.
- On safe surfaces use mold or mildew-killing cleaning products.
- Check the sealing wicks regularly and reseal as necessary to prevent water
leaks.
Proper preventive maintenance of the caravan and its accessories, as
described in both this manual and accompanying literature, will provide the
best protection for the caravan.
Long-Term Use Effects
- In long-term use of caravan, it is necessary to be prepared for condensation
and humid conditions that may be encountered.
- In cold weather, when the relative humidity of the indoor air is high, moisture
may condense on the inner surfaces of caravan. This is exacerbated by the
fact that insulated walls of the caravan are much thinner than house walls.
- The relatively small volume and tight, compact nature of the caravan mean
that even a few passengers' normal living activities will lead to rapid moisture
saturation.
- Water vapor will condense as moisture inside windows and walls, or as frost
or ice in cold weather, unless it is carried outside by ventilation or condensed
with a dehumidifier.
- Inside the walls or ceiling, warped or stained panels can also condense out
of sight.
- The appearance of these conditions can indicate a serious problem. When
signs of excessive humidity and condensation appear on the caravan, it is
important to take action to minimize their effects.
Tips for Checking Condensation
Uses where it is important to let excess moisture out:
- Bathroom
- Washing dishes
- Hair drying
- Cooking

Winter Travel
Traveling in sub-freezing temperatures will require certain precautions to
protect the plumbing system and personal belongings from damage by
freezing.
It is necessary to clear the snow accumulations on the pop-up.
Whenever possible the heat should be kept at a constant temperature.
It is easier for the heater to keep the room temperature constant than to let the
caravan temperature drop to 10°C and then try to raise it to room temperature.
When parking in temperatures below freezing, be sure to have a full supply of
LPG or Diesel and plug into a 220V power source whenever possible.
In order to allow hot air to circulate around plumbing lines and fixtures leave
cabinet doors, wardrobes and bedroom doors partially open.

Use of Dynamic Air Suspension (C.D.S.)
Usage Modes:
Road Mode (On-road)
The caravan must be used continuously while in road mode. Push to center
position for useof arms. Levers in the highest (off-road) mode are put into road
mode before normal travel. The compressor switch must be on while traveling.
Off-road Mode
It maximizes the vehicle's traction when driving on difficult terrain and rough
roads. Drive mode provides high ground clearance. It is required for use on
rough terrains when necessary, except for long-term use. The distance
between the rim and the fender is adjusted to 70 cm by moving it up and down
thanks to the air valve rod. When the bar is lowered, the caravan also moves
down.
Camp Mode:
When the caravan leaves the vehicle, it is put into camping mode. Make sure
to turn the levers to the right to lower it into camping mode. Air suspension, in
camping mode, thevehicle can be adjusted to the desired height, left and right,
according to the slope of the terrain.
Setting:
Make sure that all the equipment of the caravan is placed in their standard
positions. Suspension works separately as right and left.
The handles on the left front cabinet of the caravan are turned to the left to
get the highest mode from road mode. (Off-road) (1-2)
When it is turned to the right, it is put into camping mode. It is in road mode
when the levers are in the middle position. (On-road)
Make sure no one is inside the caravan while using the air suspension. Both
bellows should be ideal and in the same position.
Tighten the bellows separately with the help of the clamp to prevent the
setting from changing later. To level the TRC 458 on sloping terrain, you can
level it by changing the height of one side.
