CC-SDC Sequential Turn-On/Off (STO); on-board power supply
Product Information
The CC-SDC Module fits in the Power/Output bay located on the rear
panel of Crest Audio CKS, CKV & CKX Series Power Processing
amplifiers. It provides Sequential Turn-On/Off (STO) capability for a
series of CKS, CKV & CKX amplifiers without the need for an external
VDC power source. The on-board supply provides power to twelve
other CKS, CKV & CKX amplifiers equipped with basic CC-STL, STO
modules.
Providing a simple closure across two terminals on the first amplifier in
the chain will initiate the turn-on or turn-off sequence. The CC-SDC
cannot be controlled or actuated via NexSys®. A three-position front
panel power switch is fitted to all CKS, CKV & CKX amplifiers. This
must be in the “Remote” position for the CC-SDC to initiate an STO
sequence.
Features:
• Provides external power for up to twelve CC-STL sequential turn-on functions
• Amplifier output terminals on barrier strip with 0.44" (11mm) screw spacing and 0.32" (8mm) lug spacing
• 5mm 4-pin Phoenix connector for sequential turn-on/off (STO) connection
• Signal chassis ground lift jumper
POWER/OUTPUT MODULE
FOR CKS, CKV & CKX SERIES
POWER PROCESSING AMPLIFIERS
Architects and Engineers Specifications - CC-SDC.
The module shall plug into a Crest Audio CKS or CKV Power Processing amplifier in the
Power/Output bay. The module shall contain an internal DC power supply to provide non-
NexSys initiated sequential turn-on/off capability for groups of CKS and/or CKV amplifiers.
A 5mm 4-pin Phoenix connector shall be provided to transmit the turn-on initiation voltage
signal.
A closure across two of the Phoenix connector terminals shall initiate the turn-on sequence.
The module shall provide outputs for both amp channels on barrier strip connectors and a
signal ground lift jumper. The module shall be designated the Crest Audio model CC-SDC.
