Congratulation and Thank You for purcha ing The Apollo-18 by Crucial Audio llc ®. The Apollo-18 a high-
voltage vacuumt tube interface module. It i de igned to provide an interface for two channel of high-
impedance line level input to a Le lie® 122 or 147 type rotary peaker. The Apollo-18 al o provide Volume
control for each input, Ba , Middle & Treble control , Speed & Stop motor witche , Channel 2 Mute
function, high-impedance ¼' output, and two channel of balanced low-impedance (pre-Volume/pre-EQ) XLR

Top Panel Functions
VOLUME 1: Adju t amplitude for Input 1' ignal. (direct/balanced low impedance output i pre volume).
VOLUME 2: Adju t amplitude for Input 2' ignal. (direct/balanced low impedance output i pre volume).
TREBLE: Adju t high-frequency amplitude to high-Impedance and rotary peaker output .
MIDDLE: Adju t mid rang frequency amplitude to high-Impedance and rotary peaker output .
BASS: Adju t low-frequency amplitude to high-Impedance and rotary peaker output .
MUTE CH2 SWITCH: Mute Channel 2 input ignal to the high-Impedance and rotary peaker output , but
not the direct/balanced low impedance output.
STOP SWITCH: Control STOP motor function to rotary peaker via motor brake witch cable, or
TrekII® Product EIS relay upgrade.
SPEED SWITCH: Control SPEED motor function to rotary peaker via 6 pin rotary peaker cable.
LEDS:
MUTE CH2 LED (red): Indicate Channel 2 Mute function i engaged.
STOP LED (red): Indicate STOP function i engaged.
SPEED LED (amber/gree ): Indicate SPEED function, Amber = low; Green = Fa t.

BALANCED OUT 1: Pre-Volume Vacuum Tube Balanced Low-Impedance Out for Input 1 (pin 2 = po itive).
BALANCED OUT 2: Pre-Volume Vacuum Tube Balanced Low-Impedance Out for Input 2 (pin 2 = po itive).
GND LIFT SWITCH: I olate balanced output ' cha i ground, to reduce potential ground loop .
HI-Z OUT: Thi unbalanced ¼” jack provide a high impendance output ignal to your amplifier, mixing
con ole, or other effect unit .
IN 1: Unbalanced, high impedance ¼” input i optimized for electronic keyboard line or intrument level
output . The output level i controlled by Volume 1.
IN 2: Unbalanced, high impedance ¼” input i optimized for electronic keyboard line or intrument level
output . The output level i controlled by Volume 2.

Left Side Panel
POWER SWITCH: Main AC power witch. Switch to the “up” po ition to turn power on.
FUSE HOLDER: Main power fu e, make ure to replace with ame type and value to prevent damage,
injury or fire. Fu e = T3A 3AGC
6-PIN CONNECTOR: For u e with Leslie® 122 142 or 145 147 Type peaker.
WARNING!!! - Make ure to align ix-pin connector with center alignment mark. The
protro ion or center mark mu t be aligned between Le lie® Connector' Pin 1 & 6.
U e only with pecified/configured rotary peaker. Damage or injury could occur if
connected to a non- pecified model. See unit' pecific left ide panel for
configuration type. Leslie® i a regi tered trademark of the Hammond Suzuki USA.

STOP: Thi high-current 2 po ition Hi-Rose® connector provide a witched relay for the
Leslie® 5-pin top motor acce ory connector. The Crucial Audio® STOP cable
a embly required for thi option. The STOP function can al o be configured for
TrekII® EIS Relay system ( pecify configuration at time of order). Thi option doe n't
require an extra cable, and provide STOP function via the tandard 6-Pin connector.
Plea e, note when u ing the EIS relay option that there i a 'learning mode'. The
Apollo-18 mu t be et to SLOW peed after initial warm up, and before the EIS relay

Maintenance
Your Apollo-18 i de igned to be relatively low maintenance and durable. From time to time, it will become
nece ary to replace the two (2) 12AX7A vacuum tube . Thi i a routine ta k, and Crucial Audio llc
recommend that thi only be performed by qualified per onnel. Dangerou voltage may be pre ent on the
circuit board (even if the unit i unplugged from it power adapter), and the gla vacuum tube are fragile
and can hatter. Plea e, refer tube replacement to a qualified and authorized technician.

Crucial Audio LLC warrant that the Crucial Audio product you have purcha ed hall be free of any defect in
part and workman hip if u ed under normal operating condition for a period of one (1) year from the date of
purcha e, except that vacuum tube , cable , and other included acce ory product are warranted for ninety
(90) day from date of purcha e. Thi warranty hall run to the original purcha er or le ee when purcha ed
or lea ed from an Authorized Crucial Audio Dealer and any tran feree of a retail purcha er. IMPORTANT:
PLEASE RETAIN YOUR SALES RECEIPT OR LEASE AS IT IS YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE COVERING
YOUR LIMITED WARRANTY. IF YOU WANT TO TRANSFER THE WARRANTY TO A SUBSEQUENT
PURCHASER OF THE PRODUCT YOU MUST ENDORSE THE SALES RECEIPT TO SUCH SUBSEQUENT
PURCHASER. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS VOID WITHOUT SUCH SALES RECEIPT OR LEASE.
