2.1 Programmierung zur Steuerung eines Fernsehgeräts
Sie können die URC-601A Fernbedienung folgendermaßen programmieren, um Ihren
Fernseher zu steuern:
2.1.1 Programmierung durch Code-Eingabe
1. Schalten Sie den Fernseher ein den Sie mit der
URC-601A Fernbedienung steuern wollen. Halten Sie
die Fernbedienung gerade vor Ihren Fernseher in
einem Abstand von weniger als 1 Meter.
2. Halten Sie die Tasten und gleichzeitig
gedrückt, bis die Statusanzeige rot aufleuchtet.
3. Geben Sie den vierstelligen Code ein, den Sie in
der TV-Codeliste (Anhang C) finden.
4. Die Taste blinkt zweimal hört dann auf. Wenn
der Fernseher eingeschaltet bleibt, wiederholen Sie
bitte die oben beschriebenen Schritte 2-4 noch
einmal und geben Sie einen anderen vierstelligen
Code Ihrer Marke ein, bis Sie den entsprechenden
Code finden, der das Gerät ausgeschaltet.
A c h t u n g
:
Wenn ein Hersteller mehr als einen Code
hat, müssen Sie diese Codes notieren und einen
nach dem anderen ausprobieren. Finden Sie heraus
welcher der Codes Ihren Fernseher steuert und die
meisten Funktionen nutzt, und verwenden Sie diesen.
A n m e r k u n g
:
Wenn innerhalb von 30 Sekunden
nach-dem das rote Licht der Taste aufleuchtet
keine Taste gedrückt wird, oder wenn eine anderere
Taste als eine Zahl gedrückt wird, schaltet sich die
Taste aus und der Vorgang wird beendet.

Sobald Sie die Fernbedienung mit dem richtigen Code programmiert haben, überprüfen Sie,
ob die meisten Tasten gemäß den Funktionen Ihres Fernsehers arbeiten.

Wenn eine der Tasten nicht richtig funktioniert, können Sie die Tasten einzeln programmieren,
indem Sie die in Kapitel 3 beschriebene Lernfunktion anwenden.
3. ANLEITUNG ZUR LERNFUNKTION
Die Lernfunktion der URC-601A Fernbedienung erlaubt das Programmieren der
Tasten nacheinander, sodass die Fernbedienung „lernt“, sich wie die
Originalfernbedienung des Geräts zu verhalten.
Als Beispiel nachstehend ein Verfahren zum Programmieren eines DVB-T unter
Verwendung der Lernfunktion.
Folgen Sie einfach den Schritten:
1. Schalten Sie das DVB-T Gerät, an dass Sie
programmieren wollen damit es mit der Crypto
URC-601A Fernbedienung funktioniert.
2.Drücken Sie einmal die DVB-T Taste.
3. Drücken Sie die Taste für ca. 3 Sekunden,
bis die DVB-T Taste dauerhaft rot leuchtet.
4. Legen Sie die Original-Fernbedienung
gegenüber der URC-601A in einem Abstand von 3
bis 5 cm, so dass die Infrarot-Fenster einander
zugewandt sind, und drücken Sie die Taste, die
Sie wollen.
5. Die Taste auf der URC-601A wird zu
blinken beginnen.
6. Drücken Sie nun die Taste auf der URC-601A,
die Sie programmieren wollen. Die Taste
w i r d a u f h ö r e n z u b l i n k e n ; d a s b e d e u t e t d a s s d i e
ausgewählte Taste auf der URC-601A
programmiert ist.
7. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang für die weiteren
Tasten, die Sie programmieren wollen.

Anmerkung:
 Wenn keine Taste innerhalb von 30 Sekunden
gedrückt wird, blinkt die rote Leuchtanzeige
zweimal, schaltet dann aus.
 Während des Lernvorgangs können alle
Tasten programmiert werden, ausgenommen
[LERNFUNKTION], [ΟΚ] [MAKRO] [ALLES
AUS], und die Gerätemodus-Tasten.
Wenn Sie mit der Lernfunktion fertig sind und alle
Daten speichern möchten, drücken Sie die
Taste. Die rote Leuchtanzeige der Taste
w i r d s i c h a u s s c h a l t e n .
A c h t u n g :
Wenn Sie nach Abschluss des Lernvorgangs
dieses Gerät neu programmieren indem Sie einen
anderen Geräte-Code eingeben, werden alle
gespeicherten Daten zurückgesetzt und durch die
neuen ersetzt werden.

Anmerkung: Lernfunktion für andere Geräte
Wenn Sie die Lernfunktion für andere Geräte verwenden möchten, gehen Sie wie
oben vorgeschrieben vor, aber anstatt der DVB-T Modus-Taste, verwenden Sie eine
andere Gerätetaste und folgen Sie den gleichen Schritten.
Anmerkung:
Wenn Sie die Lautstärke Ihres Fernseher mit der Taste steuern wollen, verwenden
Sie die Lernfunktion und programmieren Sie die Taste, indem Sie die
Fernbedienung Ihres Fernsehers verwenden und die Tasten programmieren, die die
Lautstärke Ihres Fernsehers steuern.
Damit können Sie den Ton des Fernsehgeräts steuern, ohne bei einem anderen Gerät
auf den TV-Modus schalten zu müssen.

Die gelernten Daten einer Taste löschen
Drücken und halten Sie gleichzeitig die Gerätetaste
und Taste gedrückt.
Geben Sie dann die Nummer 9990 ein.
Drücken Sie die Taste, die Sie löschen möchten. Das
Licht blinkt zweimal und Taste wird gelöscht.
Drücken Sie nacheinander alle Tasten, die Sie löschen
m ö c h t e n .
Die gelernten Daten eines Geräts löschen
Drücken und halten Sie gleichzeitig die Gerätetaste
und Taste gedrückt.
Geben Sie dann die Nummer 9991 ein, und alle
programmierten Tasten für das Gerät werden gelöscht.
Die gelernten Daten aller Geräte löschen
Drücken und halten Sie gleichzeitig die Gerätetaste
und Taste.
Geben Sie dann die Nummer 9991 ein, und alle
programmierten Tasten für alle Geräte werden gelöscht
Auf Werkseinstellung zurücksetzen
Drücken und halten Sie gleichzeitig die Gerätetaste
und Taste.
Geben Sie dann die Nummer 9300 ein, und die
Fernbedienung wird auf Werkseinstellung
zurückgesetzt.

4 PROGRAMMIEREN DER MAKRO-TASTEN
Sie können eine Makrotaste so programmieren, dass S ie beim Drücken einer einzigen
Taste e i n e R e i h e v o n T a s t e n f u n k t i o n e n a u s f ü h r e n k ö n n e n .
Beispiel: Wechsel von TV zu DVB-T
Wenn Sie Analogkanäle auf Ihrem Fernsehgerät ansehen und Sie das ändern und
Digital-TV sehen wollen, können Sie die Makro-Taste wie folgt programmieren:
1. Drücken Sie die DVB-T Taste und
gleichzeitig, bis die Anzeigeleuchte
dauerhaft leuchtet.
Um die MAKRO1 Taste zu
programmieren, geben Sie den Code
9960 e i n .
Um die MAKRO2 Taste zu
programmieren, geben Sie den Code
9961 e i n .
Drücken Sie nacheinander die Tasten
die Sie haben möchten, entsprechend
den Funktionen, die die Geräte
durchführen sollen.

Tasten um die TV-Signalquelle zu
ändern
Anmerkung: Abhängig von Ihrem TV,
drücken Sie mehrmals die Taste
um die TV-Signalquelle zu ändern, oder
verwenden Sie die Pfeiltasten und OK.
Sie müssen die Signalquelle von TV auf
AV oder HDMI usw. ändern, je
nachdem, wie DVB-T an das
Fernsehgerät angeschlossen ist.
3. Drücken Sie  um das
DVB-T Gerät anzuschalten.

4. Nachdem Sie fertig sind drücken Sie
OK, um die Daten zu speichern.
Für unser Beispiel: wenn Sie jetzt die
M a k r o - T a s t e d r ü c k e n , w i r d d e r
Fernseher das Quellensignal zur
ausgewählten Eingangsverbindung
w e c h s e l n d i e d a s D V B - T G e r ä t
einschalten wird, und Sie können es mit
der Fernbedienung steuern.
Anmerkung
:
 Sie können bis zu 15 verschiedene Tastenfunktionen programmieren
 Wenn innerhalb von 30 Sekunden keine Taste gedrückt wird, dann wird
das rote Licht ausgehen und der Vorgang wird abgebrochen.
Wenn Sie die Makrotaste drücken wenn nichts programmiert ist, wird
nichts passieren.
• Bevor Sie die Makro-Programmierung v e r w e n d e n stellen Sie sicher, dass die
Fernbedienung so programmiert ist, dass sie alle Geräte, die Sie mit der
M a k r o f u n k t i o n p r o g r a m m i e r e n w o l l e n , s t e u e r n k a n n . V e r w e n d e n S i e d a z u d i e
Programmiermethoden und die Lernfunktion, wie in den obigen Kapiteln
dieses Handbuchs angegeben.

:
Drücken sie die DVB-T Taste und gleichzeitig bis das rote Anzeigenlicht
dauerhaft leuchtet.
Um die MAKRO1 Taste zu löschen, geben Sie den Code 9960 ein und
drücken Sie auf OK.
Um die MAKRO2 Taste zu löschen, geben Sie den Code 9961 ein und
drücken Sie auf OK.
5 GERÄTECODE-ERINNERUNG
Drücken Sie einmal die Gerätetaste für das ausgewählte Gerät.
Drücken und halten Sie die Taste und drücken Sie gleichzeitig eine der Nummern
1,2,3,4. Lassen Sie die Taste los; das Anzeigenlicht wird entsprechend der gedrückten
Zahl blinken. Ist die Zahl 0, dann wird das Licht 10 mal schnell blinken.
Sagen wir zum Beispiel, der Gerätecode ist 1029
Drücken Sie und die Taste Nummer 1: das Gerät wird einmal blinken

2.1 Programming Control for TV Devices
You can program the URC-601A remote, to control your TV using the following ways:
2.1.1 Code Input programming
1. Turn on your TV you want to program to work

the remote in a straight line in front of your TV at
a distance less than 1 meter.
2. Press and hold on the remote the device mode
button and button at the same time
until the red light indicator lights up constantly.
3. Enter the four digit code that you found in the
TV code list (Appendix C).
4. button will blink two times and turn off. If
the TV remains on please follow the above steps
2-4 once more and enter the other four-digit code
of your brand until you find the appropriate code
that will make the device to be turned off.
A t t e n t i o n : When a manufacturer has more than
one code you must note the codes and try them
one by one. Find which of the codes controls
your TV and uses the most functions and use
that one.

:
If
no key is pressed

in 30

from the moment the red light of the button
turns on, or another key other than number has
been pressed, the button will turn off and
the programming process will be canceled.

Once you have programmed the remote with the correct code, check to see if most of
the buttons are working according to the functions of your TV.
Corrective Actions
If any of the buttons do not work properly, you can program those buttons individually
by using the learning function process described in chapter 3.

3. LEARN FUNCTION OPERATION GUIDE
The learn function on the URC-601A remote control allows to program the keys one by
one to learn to behave like the original remote control of your device.
As an example, below is a method of programming a DVB-T using the learn function.
Just follow the steps:
1. Turn on your DVB-T you want to program to
w o r k w i t h t h e C r y p t o U R C - 6 0 1 A r e m o t e c o n t r o l .
2.Press DVB-T button once
3. Press the learn button for about 3 seconds
until the DVB-T button lights continuously in
red color.
4. Bring the original remote opposite to the URC-
601A and at a distance of 3 to 5 cm in such way so
that the infrared windows are facing one another
and press the button that you want.
5. The button will start blinking on your
URC-601A.
6. Now press the button on URC-601A that you
w a n t t o p r o g r a m . T h e b u t t o n w i l l s t o p
blinking and that means that the selected button on
URC-601A is programmed.
7. Repeat for the other buttons you want to
program.

Note:
 If no key is pressed within 30 seconds the red
light indication will blink twice and turn off.
 During the learn process all buttons can be
programmed except from [LEARN], [ΟΚ]
[MACRO] [ALL OFF], and device mode keys.
If you have finished learning all the buttons you
w a n t a n d y o u n e e d s t o r e a l l t h e l e a r n e d k e y d a t a
press the button. The red light indication on
the DVB-T button will turn off.
A t t e n t i o n :
If after the completion of the learn process you
reprogram this particular device by putting a
different device code all stored data will be reset
and replaced with the new ones.

Note: Learn function for other devices
If you want to use the learning function for other devices use the above guide and
instead of DVB-T mode button choose another device button and
continue with the same procedure.
Note: If you want to program to control the sound of your TV by using the button
use the LEARN method and program the button using the remote control of your
TV and learn the buttons that change the sound of your TV. With this, you can control
the sound of your TV without having to switch from another device to TV mode.

Clear Learn data for one button
Press and hold pressed at the same time the device
key and button.
Then input number 9990.
Press the button that you want to clear. The light will
blink twice and button will be cleared.
Press sequentially all the buttons you want to clear.
Clear Learn data for one device
Press and hold pressed at the same time the device
key and button.
Then input number 9991 a n d a l l l e a r n e d b u t t o n s f o r t h i s
device will be cleared.
Clear Learn data for all the devices
Press and hold pressed at the same time the device
key and button.
Then input number 9995 a n d a l l l e a r n e d b u t t o n s f o r a l l
devices will be cleared.
Factory reset
Press and hold pressed at the same time the device
key and button.
Then input number 9300 a n d r e m o t e w i l l r e t u r n t o
factory reset state.

4 MACRO KEYS PROGRAMMING
You can program a MACRO button so that it performs a series of button functions, by,
pressing a single button.
Example: Change from TV to DVB-T
If you are watching analog channels on your TV and you want to change and see digital
channels you can easily program the Macro button as follows:
1. Press the DVB-T button and at
the same time until the device indication
light turn on constantly.
To program MACRO1 button press code
9960.
To program MACRO2 button press code
9961.
Press in sequence the keys you want
according to the functions you need the
devices to do.
For our example do the following:
2. Press  
buttons to change the TV signal source
Note: Depending on your TV, press the
button repeatedly to change the
TV signal source, or use the arrow keys
and OK.
You need to change the signal source
from TV to AV or HMDI, etc. depending
on how you have connected the DVB-T
to the TV.
3. Press 
to turn on the DVB-T device
4. After you have finished press OK
button to store the data.

For our example if you now press the
m a c r o b u t t o n t h e n t h e T V w i l l c h a n g e
the source signal to the selected input
connection the DVB-T will turn on and
you will control it with the remote.
Note
:
 You can program up to 15 different key functions
 If in 30 seconds no key is been pressed then the red light will
turn off and the procedure is going to be canceled.
If you press the MACRO key while it is not programmed nothing will
happen.
• Before using the MACRO programming make sure that the remote is
programmed to control all the devices you want to program by using the

function indicated in the above chapters of this guide.
Erase MACRO Programming
:
Press the DVB-T button and at the same time until the device indication
light turn on constantly.
To erase MACRO1 button press code 9960 a n d t h e n O K b u t t o n .
To erase MACRO2 button press code 9961 and then OK button.
5 DEVICE CODE REMINDER
Press the device button that you want once.
Press and hold button and press at the same time one of numbers 1,2,3,4.
Release buttons and the device light will blink as many times according to the number.
If number is 0 then the light will blink fast 10 times.
For example let’s say the device code is 1029
Press and button number 1: the device light will blink 1 time
Press and button number 2: the device light will blink fast 10 times
Press and button number 3: the device light will blink 2 times
Press and button number 4: the device light will blink 9 times.
