Summary

Performance
THE PERFORMANCE OF GECKO AND CAMELEON MOTOR PUMPS
depends on the following criteria:
1 - The ”MINIMUM” flow range (in litres/minute) is defined by the minimum flow required to
ensure that regulation is stable.
2 - The ”MAXIMUM” flow ranges are given according to:
Truck’ water pump performance
The possibilities for transit in supply pipes of Ø 100 - 125 - 150 - 200 for the
GECKO.
The possibilities for transit in supply pipes of Ø 45 - 70 - 110 for the CAMELEON.
The ”MAXIMUM” GECKO and CAMELEON volumetric pump performances.
3 - The flows and concentrations correspond to the use of foaming agents.

INTERVENTION
PROCEDURE

11
1 –ADDITIVE DOSING :
Connect a lance on the pre-mix output.
The flow and pressure are displayed [1] and [5].
Select the type of fire using the concentration selection keys T3 to T6.
Système prime automatically (min. 2s).
The concentration (%) and the injection pressure appears on the screen [2] and [4].
Dosage begins if the flow rate is greather than 50L/min.
The box displays «Water flow is too weak » if the ratio of water flow / product flow is
lower than the minimum performance of dosing system
The box displays «Water flow is too strong » if the flow ratio of water / product flow is
higher than the minimum performance of dosing system.
At any time, the system beeps, a fault is detected and displayed :
- « Injection fault»: The injection pressure has remained under the water pressure
during more than 15 seconds. Try again. If the problem persists, contact our after sales
service.
- « Additive presence fault »: The priming was not done
correctly. Try again. If the problem persists, contact our
after sales service.
To stop the dosage, press the key « STOP » T1.
Flushing is done automatically.
At any moment it is possible to reselect an intervention by
simply pressing the desired type of fire.

Select product to fill
Connect a suction pipe on the external suction connector
Start the engine of the Gecko (if necessary).
Press “VALIDATE” to start filling [1] .
[1] [2]
The system automatically primes (mini 5s) and then fills the required tank.
You can press “CANCEL” key [2] to stop the filling.
→ If you wish to continue, press “NO”.
→ To resume filling, press “VALIDATE” key [1] .
→ If you want to stop, press “YES”.

Press « EXIT » to exit.
NB : Filling stops automatically when the tank is full.
6 - AUTONOMY :
If the option is selected, the system calculates the remaining autonomy while the product
is being measured out.
Autonomy is displayed in minutes under the tank of product used.
This autonomy is calculated according to the level of product remaining in the tank and
the product proportioning flow rate.
If less than 2 minutes of autonomy are left, display of autonomy disappears and the mes-
sage “TIME REMAINING < 2 MIN” flashes on the right of the level in the water tank.
