3. Flathead Screwdriver
4. Hose pliers or large bucket to catch washer uid
Vehicle used in this guide is a 2018 Audi RS3. Always make sure the car is safe to work on. Do not work on a hot motor. We
do not accept any liability for incorrect installation or damage during the install.

Raise the vehicle
using a hoist or jack
stands and remove
the front two wheels.
STEP 1

Remove the T25 Torx screws
holding the fender liner in
place

Pull the fender liner back and
loosen the two torx that are
just behind the liner
Using an extension (or long
torx driver) remove the Torx
located on the inside of the
bumper (appx. 10”from
opening)
Remove Belly Pan and Pull o
the bumper
Starting from the corners
of the fenders, pull out and
forward.

Before you can remove the
bumper, you will have to unclip
one sensor and disconnect the
washer uid line.
Loosen the two hose
clamps on either side of the
intercooler

Unclip sensor to make
intercooler removal easier
*note*
This sensor will have to be relocated
on the TTRs (we reccommend drilling
and placing this into the Auxilary Rad
Ducts located infront of the wheels
on both sides of the car).
STEP 8
Remove the two upper torx
on the intercooler mounts

Remove the two torx from the
lower Intercooler mounts
Remove the intercooler
*note*
on the TTRs you will need to trim
plastic tabs on both sides of the IC,
these will be obvious when you line
up the CTS unit.

Unclip and remove the two
plastic shrouds located on
both sides and above the
intercooler
STEP 12
Use a athead to pop out the
tabs
*note*
if you wish to re-install these
shrouds, you will have to trim the
bottoms (appx 1/2”)

Transfer the rubber grommets
from the OEM intercooler to
the CTS unit
Install the CTS intercooler by
the top mounts and then the
bottom ones

Reconnect your intercooler
hoses and tighten the clamps.
Place the sensor back onto the
crash bar and make sure your
mounts are tight
Re-Install bumper and
wheels.
Your Done!
