To Remove the Call Forward to the Voice Mail ( VMIB )

EXTERNAL VOICE MAIL
( Please note that your Pabx vendor will advise you on
which type of voice mail you have )
Dial the voice mail group number (633)
• Wai for response from sys em and en er password when asked (0000)
NB: 0000 is the default password. You will be given the opportunity to change this password
later in the set-up. Also if you are going to use remote access to your voicemail a password
will be needed to save against unauthorised access.
The firs ime ha you dial in, Hello will guide you hrough he essen ials such as en ering your name,
personal gree ing and al ering your password
Notes:
Have your personalised gree ing ready o record plus a he end of your message add “or dial 0 to
speak to the operator”. This allows he caller o redirec heir call o he opera or so ha hey may
seek an al erna ive ex ension number
Do no forge your personalised password, as while we can overwri e i , your messages will be los in
doing so.
Once his is comple ed he final ask is o diver your calls o your voicemail box.

This means ha calls will diver o your Voice Mail af er 12 sec’s or will go here s raigh away if he
ex ension is busy
To Cancel call forwarding DND/Fwd key
Recovering Left messages
If your phone has a message he message wai ligh will be flashing.
If you have messages, dial 633 and en er your password. Follow he voice promp s.
If you are not in the office or at another extension, Dial you extension number and then after your
voice mail answers, Dial the # key. You will then be prompted to enter your password.
Thereafter, follow the instructions
