in order that you fully understand all the operational features it oers.

Before Using for the First Time
1. Remove all packaging including the plastic blade covers from the knife
blades. These covers should be discarded as they are used to protect the
blades during manufacture and transit only.
2. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to any local
recycling regulations.
3. Before using the chopper for the rst time, carefully wash the appliance in
warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
4. Do not immerse the motor unit, cable or plug in water or in any liquid.
5. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.

Assembling the Chopper
1. Fit the bowl onto the chopper base,
lower and turn clockwise until it locks
rmly into place.
2. Add the blade over the chopper drive.
Always t the bowl and the blade
onto the appliance before adding
ingredients.
Failure to correctly t the lid
will prevent your chopper from
operating.
3. Fit the lid onto the bowl.
4. Turn it clockwise until the arrow on
the lid aligns with the safety interlock
arrow on the body of chopper base. It
will click when it locks into place.

• Do not exceed the maximum capacity!
• Maximum capacity of the appliance is 350ml.
Hold the unit with one hand placed on top of the lid, to keep the unit
steady.
• Do not use the bowl to store food.
• Do not run the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute.
• After running continuously for 1 minute let the chopper rest for 2
minutes before re-using.
• You can use the appliance fully (1minute continuously running, 2 minutes
resting) once every 3 minutes, up to a maximum of 2 full uses (1 full use
= maximum button press for 15 seconds, up to 1 full minute continuously
running, 2 minutes resting).
• After running the unit for 2 full uses, allow it to cool down fully before
re-using.
Operating the Chopper
1. Cut food into small pieces and place in the bowl one at a time.
2. Place the lid on the bowl and turn clockwise to lock into place. Ensure the lid
has clicked into place and the arrows align (see the diagram in Step 4 in the
Assembling the Chopper section for details).
3. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket.
4. Press and hold the Switch button for a maximum of 15 seconds and then
release, the motor will stop.
5. Repeat for a ner consistency.
6. When nished chopping, allow the blade to stop rotating before removing
the contents.
7. Remove the lid and grasp the stem of the blade.
8. Carefully remove it from the bowl. Remove the bowl from the base and
empty the processed food.

Recipe
The chopping times below are guidelines only. Chopping time will vary
depending on the size of the food pieces and personal taste. As you become
familiar with your mini-chopper, you can adjust the chopping time to suit your
personal preference. For larger or smaller pieces, adjust the time accordingly.
Food Quantity Chopping Time
Fresh herbs, coarse chop 1 loosely packed cup 60 seconds
Nuts 1 cup 50 seconds
Hard cheeses 55-85 grams 60 seconds
Garlic Cloves 1 cup cloves, peeled 20 seconds
Chocolate 1 cup, 1 inch pieces 30 seconds
Onion 1 cup, coarsely chopped
20 seconds 30 seconds
Carrot 150 grams 15 seconds
Sun-dried tomatoes in oil 1 cup 30 seconds
Cleaning
• Always switch o and unplug before cleaning.
• Never let the power unit, mains cable or plug get wet.
• Handle blades with care – they are extremely sharp.
• Some foods will discolour the plastic. This is perfectly normal. It will not harm
the plastic or aect the avour of your food. Rubbing with a cloth dipped in
vegetable oil helps remove discolouring.
Power Unit
• Wipe the outside with a damp cloth, then dry.
• Carefully coil excess cable and secure with the white wire tie at the back of the
appliance.
Other Parts
Wash by hand, then dry thoroughly.

8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
9. Do not let children play with this appliance.
10. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
11. Ensure the mains cable does not touch any hot surface and that it does not
overhang the edge of the work surface.
12. Before plugging in, make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one
shown on the underside of your appliance.
13. When unplugging the mains cable, hold the mains plug, not the mains cable.
14. If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an
authorised service agent or a qualied technician in order to avoid a hazard.
15. Never use a damaged appliance. Get it checked or repaired by a qualied
technician.
16. Do not use attachments or accessories which are not recommended or
specied by the manufacturer. They may cause malfunction or injury.
17. Store the appliance away from direct sunlight and out of the reach of
children.

When operating your mini-chopper:
1. The knife blade is very sharp, handle with care. Always hold the knife
blade by the nger grip at the top, away from the cutting edge, both when
handling and cleaning.
2. Always remove the knife blade before pouring contents from the bowl.
3. Keep hands and utensils out of the bowl whilst the appliance is connected to
the mains socket.
4. Switch o and unplug:
• Before tting or removing parts
• After use
• Before cleaning
5. Before removing the lid from the bowl:
• Switch o the appliance
• Wait until the blade has completely stopped
6. This appliance will be damaged and may cause injury if the interlock
mechanism is subjected to excessive force.
7. To prevent damage to the interlock mechanism:
• Always lock the bowl to the power unit before attempting to t the lid
• Always unlock the lid before attempting to remove the bowl from the
power unit
8. Never leave the appliance on unattended.
