Read all instructions carefully.
This appliance should not be used by children and care should be taken when used near children. Store out of the reach
of children.
To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not put the appliance base, cord, or plug into water or other liquid.
Unplug from the wall outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. To disconnect, turn
the appliance off and remove the plug from the wall outlet. Always hold the plug, never pull the cord.
To prevent severe personal injury or damage to your appliance, avoid contact with moving parts, and keep hands and
utensils out of the Mixing Cup while the motor is running. A silicone spatula may be used only when the motor is not
running and the appliance is unplugged.
Never attempt to remove the Mixing Discs. Do not operate the appliance with loose or damaged Mixing Discs.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
The use of attachments that are not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock,
or injury to persons.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged
in any manner. Return the appliance to an authorized service facility for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical
adjustment.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.

When using electrical appliances, these basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INFORMATION
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to override this safety feature.
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement or tripping over a longer cord. If it
is necessary to use an extension cord, it should be positioned such that it does not drape over the counter or tabletop where it
can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
It is not recommended to exceed 3 minutes of continuous mixing. Allow the unit to rest for at least 2 minutes between each
use.

USING YOUR DRINK MIXER
Wash all parts according to the Care and Cleaning section of this manual.
Plug the Drink Mixer into a 120-volt 60Hz AC-only outlet.
Pour ingredients into the Mixing Cup before placing it on the Base. Do not exceed the top line on the Mixing Cup.
Your Drink Mixer has an Extendable Shaft for compact storage when not in use.
Once the Mixing Cup is securely placed on the Base, press the Release Button to slowly lower the Top Housing.
Press the Power Button and the Drink Mixer will start the mixing process.
Turn off the appliance before adding more ingredients. To add ingredients to the Mixing Cup, turn the Drink Mixer off by
pressing the Power Button and wait until the mixing action has completely stopped. Press the Release Button to slowly
bring the Top Housing up and lock it into position.
To resume mixing, repeat step 6 and 7.

CARE AND CLEANING
Unplug your Drink Mixer and ensure that all parts have completely cooled.
Remove the Mixing Cup from the Base by pressing the Release Button and lifting the Top Housing.
Rinse the Mixing Cup with warm water to remove any large food particles that may have accumulated in the Mixing Cup.
Your Mixing Cup, Mixing Rod, and Mixing Discs can be cleaned by adding a few drops of dishwashing detergent into the
Mixing Cup and filling the cup with warm water. Follow steps 5, 6 and 7 on page 5 to operate the Drink Mixer. Rinse and
repeat with clean tap water.
Wipe the cord, Housing, Extendable Shaft, and Base clean with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
Caution: Do not immerse the Drink Mixer Housing and Base in water or other liquid. Do not use abrasive cleansers on any
part of the Drink Mixer.

Coffee Stout Milkshake
METHOD
1. In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the ice cream and beer. Mix on low speed for 1 1/2 minutes, or until well-
blended. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.
Serves: 1

METHOD
1. In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the ice cream and milk. Mix on low speed for 1 minute. Increase the speed
to high and blend for about 1 1/2 minutes longer, or until well-blended. Add the shaved chocolate and blend on low until
the chocolate is incorporated into the milkshake. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.

Bananas Fosters Milkshake
METHOD

Heat a small heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add the sugar and cook without stirring for about 5 minutes, or until the
sugar melts and then turns a deep amber color. As the sugar melts and caramelizes, tilt and swirl the pan to distribute
the caramel evenly, but do not stir. As soon as the sugar is a deep amber color, remove the pan from the heat.
Stir in the cream and butter, whisking until the butter melts and the sauce is blended. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to
remove any undissolved bits of sugar. Stir in the fleur de sel and cool.
To make the caramel sauce:

Make-Ahead: The caramel sauce can be made up to 3 days ahead, covered and refrigerated. Rewarm over low heat. The
milkshake is best enjoyed immediately.
Caramel Sauce:
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream, warm
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature
1/4 teaspoon fleur de sel
Milkshake:
1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
1/2 medium ripe banana, mashed
3 tablespoons whole milk
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
1 ounce dark rum, optional
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
To make the milkshake and serve:

In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the ice cream, banana, whole milk, and condensed milk. Mix on low speed
for 1 minute. Increase the speed to high and blend for 1 1/2 minutes longer, or until well-blended. Stir in the rum, if
desired.
With the Drink Mixer running on low, slowly drizzle about 2 tablespoons of the caramel sauce into the ice cream mixture.
Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce along the sides of a tall chilled glass. Pour the milkshake into the glass and serve
immediately.
Hazelnut Chocolate Milkshake
METHOD
1. In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the chocolate-hazelnut spread and almond milk. Mix on low speed for 1
minute. Add the sorbet or gelato and blend on high speed for 1 1/2 minutes longer, or until well-blended. Pour into a
chilled glass and serve immediately.
Serves: 1

Strawberries and Cream Milkshake

In a small saucepan, combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat,
mashing the berries with a potato masher or fork to break them up. Simmer the mixture, stirring frequently, for about 6
minutes, or until it thickens. Transfer the mixture to a shallow container, cover and refrigerate until cool.
In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the ice cream and milk. Mix on low speed for 1 minute. Increase the
speed to high and blend for about 1 1/2 minutes longer, or until well-blended. Fold the strawberry jam throughout the
milkshake. Pour into a chilled glass and serve with a spoon.

1. In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the yogurt, milk, blackberries, banana, honey and vanilla. Mix on low speed
for 1 minute. Increase the speed to high and blend for about 1 minute longer, or until well-blended. Pour into a chilled
glass and serve.

for 1 minute. Increase the speed to high and blend for 1 minute longer, or until well-blended. Pour into a chilled glass and
serve immediately.

Coconut Lime and Ginger Lassi
METHOD
1. In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the yogurt, milk, 1 tablespoon of lime juice, lime zest, honey, and ginger.
Mix on low speed for 30 seconds. Increase the speed to high and blend for about 30 seconds longer, or until well-blended.
Pour over ice in a chilled glass and serve.
Serves: 1
INGREDIENTS
Make-Ahead: The lassi can be made up to 2 hours ahead, covered and refrigerated.
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 lime, zested and juiced
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

METHOD
1. In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the tequila, Cointreau, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, lime zest, lemon sorbet
and 3 tablespoons chilled water. Mix on low speed for 1 minute. Increase the speed to high and blend for about 1 minute
longer, or until well blended. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.
Serves: 2

Spiced Hot Chocolate

In a small saucepan, whisk the milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg over medium-high heat until hot. Remove the pan from the
heat.
In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the bittersweet and milk chocolate. Pour the hot milk over the chocolate.
Mix on low speed for 15 seconds. Increase the speed to high and blend for about 1 minute longer, or until well-blended
and foamy. Pour into a warm mug. Spoon dollops of the whipped cream on top and serve immediately.
Serves: 1
INGREDIENTS
Make-Ahead: The hot chocolate is best enjoyed immediately.
1 cup whole or low-fat milk
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
2 ounces bittersweet chocolate (70% cacao), finely chopped
1 ounce high-quality milk chocolate, finely chopped
1/4 cup Whipped Cream (see recipe)

METHOD
1. In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the rice milk, honey, almond butter, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix on low speed
for 30 seconds. Increase the speed to high and blend for about 30 seconds longer, or until well-blended. Pour over ice into
a chilled glass and serve.
Serves: 1

Chocolate Sauce

Place the chocolate in the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the water, cocoa powder, sugar, and honey. Bring the mixture to a boil over
medium heat, whisking occasionally.
Pour the hot mixture over the chocolate. Place the Mixing Cup into position and mix on low speed for 1 minute. Using a
silicone spatula, stir the bottom of the Mixing Cup. Continue mixing on high speed for about 30 seconds, or until the sauce
is blended and smooth. Serve warm.
Makes: about 1 cup

Red Wine Vinaigrette

1. In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, and mustard. Mix on low speed for about 30
seconds, or until well-blended. With the machine running, slowly drizzle in the oil to emulsify the vinaigrette. Season the
vinaigrette to taste with salt and pepper.
Makes: 1 cup

Herb and Cheese Omelet

In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the eggs, cream, and salt. Mix on low speed for about 30 seconds, or until
well-blended and frothy.
Heat a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and swirl to coat the pan. When the butter is melted
and foaming, pour in the egg mixture. Do not stir for 30 seconds. Swirl the pan back and forth while gently stirring the
egg mixture with a silicone spatula for about 1 minute, or until large curds form.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook the omelet, without stirring, for about 1 minute, or until the omelet is mostly
set but slightly runny on top. Sprinkle the herbs over the top and lay the cheese across the top third of the omelet.
Tilt the pan at a 45-degree angle and, using the spatula, gently fold the omelet over 2 to 3 times and transfer to a plate.
Garnish the omelet with chopped chives and serve.

Crêpes

In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the milk, cream, egg, sugar, and salt. Add the flour. Blend on high speed for
about 1 minute, or until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, cover and refrigerate for
30 minutes.
Heat a crêpe pan or heavy 8-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Dab some butter on a paper towel and wipe the
pan with the butter. Pour 3 tablespoons of batter into the center of the pan and swirl to coat the bottom evenly. Cook
for 1 1/2 minutes, or until the edges of the crêpe are light brown. Using a silicone spatula, gently loosen the edges and
carefully turn the crêpe over. Continue cooking for about 1 minute, or until the bottom begins to brown in spots. Transfer
the crêpe to a plate. Repeat with the remaining batter, wiping the pan with butter as needed.

1. In the Mixing Cup of the Drink Mixer, combine the egg, lemon juice, mustard, and salt. Mix on low speed for about 1
minute, or until well-blended. With the Drink Mixer running, slowly drizzle in the oil near the Mixing Discs until the
mixture is thick and creamy. Season the mayonnaise with more salt if necessary.
Serves: 1
